I'm not ready for it, I just want to go back and do 2015 over again. I feel like last year was the turning point in my life where my future diverged into the paths of a successful life with the person I love and eventual death by suicide in a few years and I fucked it up in every possible aspect of my life. All that's left is an indescribable sense of impending dread.

As someone who went through hell and back to get a job the career he actually wanted back in uni, I sometimes ask myself is it really all worth it. We all have multiple things we could possibly see ourselves doing. In uni I totally shelved some of my more fringe thoughts, thinking it would be stupid and petty to go for architecture or paleontology compared to what I wound up doing. However years on I kind of pine for those things still and wonder if I would actually have been happier. Knowing me, probably not, because there's always the grass-is-greener mentality. All I'm saying is don't let that get the better of you.
