Laser episode for the New Year.
Happy New Year, DBS fans.
I personally don't care but if they actually show whis reversing time without first stating that he has this ability super will get even worse
There was a very brief mention... "I won't need to do anything this time" after something had blown up during their training.
The biggest thing against the ring at this point though, is that there are only two episodes left for the Freeza battle.
One is called "At his limit, he sees victory! Goku's Counter Attack!" And the one afterwards is "The Decisive Kamehameha!". After that, it's already the Champa arc.
Last week's episode ended with Golden Freeza beating down SSB Goku to the point that Goku was tired, something that never happened in the movie. Next episode, considering the title, it seems to be about Freeza starting to tiring out and Goku turning the tables.
After that, it should be the ring blast, but, the episode titles seem to go against that.
How does Dragon Ball hold up? I kinda wanna watch Dragon Ball.
Not this thread again, we will have another hundred of faggots arguing about it. Its fake, get over it.
It's fantastic, but it's best if you watch dragon ball z again afterwards, it fills some plot holes from Z, and there are also things in Z which make more sense if you watch Dragon Ball beforehand
I can't believe the show actually looked that good once compared to now. What the fuck is wrong with toei nowadays? Have downloads and decreased sales really killed revenue that much so as to make studios this cheap and horrid now?
because it's damn good and Super hasn't had anything that good yet and probably never will
That said, isn't Tadayoshi Yamamuro their go-to guy now? or do they just use him for movies?
>What the fuck is wrong with toei nowadays?
Keeping the budget for movie animation.
>Keeping the budget for movie animation.
if they were trying to save their budget they wouldn't have wasted money retelling the movies at all. they would just start Super from right after frieza's death
>they wouldn't have wasted money retelling the movies at all.
It's not that much of a waste when you consider DB still gets ratings.
Not One Piece ratings, mind you, but they're not bad.
>it's still a waste simply because those story arcs were already covered by the movies
But people are still watching. You'd have an argument if people aren't watching or ratings/merchandise sales are down.
They're not. It's working. Minimum effort for maximum profit.
>it's not minimum effort if they're retelling the same story
There's a reason for that. The longer they're on air, the longer people are aware of the product.
They can get more episodes without coming up with anything new.
Also, you didn't address the fact that this is working. They're making money still.
