Also it seems to be mystery/horror? The story is about 30 people going on a shifty bus tour (hence the bus) out of curiosity to some village, a utopia with no ties to the world. It's an urban legend. They all want to escape their boring everyday lives, redo their life or escape the despair they're in. And they stumble on an uninhabited village, or something.

Tsutomu Mizushima did do Another, and Okada Wixoss so they do have some experience in that genre.

The merch for IBO seems to be doing extremely well, particularly the high grade Barbatos which has universal positive feedback. Honestly OVA works aside Gundam kind of just seems to be fading out as a major disc seller like with most anime, especially considering it's a daytime anime anyway for which anything above 2K is pretty remarkable and a testament to brand power. It needs to pick up some sort of fujoshi audience like 00 did in order to do any better than 6-8K which with Osomatsu-San airing in the season it failed to do really.
