I literally spent the last week or so watching it from episode 1 of the original to episode 26 of the sequel. And it is good. Like, really, actually good.

The main characters are developed a lot during the story, and it all feels natural because they have time for it. Of course, most of the sequel feels rushed, but it still ok overall, and the last six episodes are amazing.

The smaller arcs and single episodes are good on their own, while also being connected to the overarching story. Also, the animation and the fight sequences are fucking great, compared to shit like One Piece and Naruto.

Also, Naraku is a fucking god of a villain. I loved the way he tried to achieve his goals through subversion rather than pure strength until the very end.

All in all, your tastes are shit and your opinion is dumb. InuYasha was good.

In the end an anime isn't all that different from a book, or a movie. It's just a story. So, discerning whether it's good or bad depends on more than just the amount of anime you watched. I think that whenever you evaluate a story, in any form, all your previous experiences are important, not just those from that particular medium. I would go as far as to say that a broad spectrum of experiences is better than a focus on a particular form of storytelling.
