Island Arc has a lot of bad and a lot of terrible QUALITY moments from the outsourced Korean studio, but it also has some good development for Nadia and Jean and of course, some very vital story information on the Red Noah.
Africa is all bad all the time and can be skipped with little lost.

This is one of those series that really should get a remake.

Setting is great. Characters are great. There is a lot of wasted potential in this show. And Gainax pretty much got fucked by the TV channel while making it.
