Just finished this. It's really good.
Lots of issues they were facing hit a little too close to home, and
that last voice recording scene killed me.
I want more of these.
>I want more of these.
New Game! is going to surpass Shirobako desu
I actually don't mind not getting s2. Even though I love all the characters. They wrapped it up nicely, and it ends on a good note. It feels right to me.
I just want more animu that is balanced just right, like this one.
She's a really talented character designer and keyframe animator.
She also draws with her right hand, strangely.
Yup that is implied. And also true.
Who was your favorite character at the start/end of the series?
You should watch Sore ga Seiyuu if you want more industry shenanigans. As the name implies it focuses on voice acting.
I like how one of the freshest original late night anime in ages that could have been the first 4 cour in years as well gets busted down to the standard 2 cour with no sequel in sight.
I've got a thing for this kind of girl.
>that could have been the first 4 cour
Saw it recommended by others, so I might give it a try. But I really fell in love with the huge ensemble of characters and how each of them is unique and memorable. Reminded me of their other series, Hanasaku Iroha.
It's normal to have a thing for best girls.
Is she single? She's too pretty to be single.
She doesn't OT so not exactly the no-time-for-marriage workaholic type.
And yes I'm fucking lazy and got this from tumblr.
I draw, and facing the same struggle that she does
each and every worry she has, I share and understand it deeply. When the old guy Shigeru gives her advice, it felt like he was giving it to me personally. Glad that she got her shit together near the end and hopefully I will with mine too.
Also felt the same with Shizuka.
Shirobako was one of the best shows frome the Slice of Life department i've watched. Normaly slice of life bores me to death but Shirobako was really interesting and funny. Maybe they'll change their mind and make a second season.
I would give you the gif version of this, but it's sadly over 5MB somehow.
Here's a gif version of the scene in your pic, OP.
that last voice recording scene killed me.
I still don't understand. It was a good scene, but everyone treats it like the second coming of Kyon's Disappearance monologue or something.
>yfw you will never get a second season where they animate "two piece"
The two other cours were also going to show Oi-chan go from production desk to line producer to executive producer IIRC.
S2 with Tarou advancing to a director never.
I was rooting for Shizuka, but shit isn't going her way the whole series, and almost felt like it towards the end. When they talked about adding an extra character, I was feeling happy for her.
Can't say much about Kyon. Still catching up on the second season.
>the Tarou hate meme is still going
Remember that after the 2D vs 3D conflict he messed up by his indecisiveness he never messed a thing up, ever. He fixed the new asshole member by insistently befriending him, and did you forget how he FUCKING BIKED to deliver the keyframes on schedule? Tarou is the emotional anchor tying everyone together.
You meant this, right?
Who knows, maybe based PA Works might give us a second season, considering the fact that it sold pretty well. It was also a passion project, so there's hope that the original staff might come on to work on it again.
How is she so beautiful.
I heard somewhere that the director will be busy for the next year or two.
There are sometimes years between seasons so it doesn't mean anything if nothing happens immediately.
I can't stand Diesel. Their constant insistence on showing us how she's so perfect and flawless at everything she does only made me dislike how forced it was, and the only conflict she underwent in the series was when Hiraoka, who at the time was a disillusioned rude cunt to everyone told her she's only being accepted because she's a girl, despite not a single character showing any gender bias before.
True but you forgot best girl.
Now it's perfect.
>out of the whole cast Misas arc was the most realistic and she showed she's a headstrong capable young lady
Truly my waifu and colleaguefu.
>trying this hard to defend Tarou
Indecisiveness? Watch again, he was egging them on. And then he tried to dump it on Aoi.
He didn't make another major screw up again because the story doesn't need him for that anymore, he just continued to annoy everyone in the office.
As befriending the new guy, this is one part of the story that I just can't buy. That guy became so worn out and edgy because of people like Tarou. How can he stand Tarou?
It would have helped humanize the girls a little bit, especially the older/more accomplished ones. I mean I love waifus as much as the next guy but eventually it gets kind of boring.
She turns towards compensated dating to get cash as her dreams crumble. The funny moment will be when she sees her successful friends in links when she is with a fat old business man on one if her dates.
>women don't feel human unless they're in a relationship.
Well done, anon.
Emas don't exist, Zukas don't exist, Midoris don't exist, Aois don't exist.
Girls like Tires exist but they don't like guys.
And there will never be an S2. Fiction as dumped you, my friend. The only Shirabko that will ever happen in your lifetime will be the fantasies in Mizushima's imagination, where tears stream down Ema's porcelain skin as she chokes on his fat japanese cock.
I'm not even the same anon.
And go back to reddit.
