YH YH WE BOTH SHANK EACH OTHER
OFF WE GO
I can barely wait for this show to air. This is probably where KyoAni is going to redeem itself for all the moe shows it did with an actual plot driven series, even though it's starting to look a lot like Kyoukai no Kanata.
So I translated the chart for all you baka gaijin that don't know moon just like myself.
>implying anyone who writes like that actually spergs out in front of his computer
I wish Kyo-Ani wouldn't go for office lady proportions, tiny heads on big bodies are such a turnoff.
Why is Koito so shit? She ruined the entire series.
Kurumi has the most retarded hairstyle I've ever seen.
Regardless of whatever, my dick wins.
The porn shall be glorious. I'll partake in all of the girls. ALL.
I wonder if the first episode will end with something like this
We have one anon who has posted pictures of his novel and who also posted LN stuff on hibike saying that MC has a crunch on her but she brotherzoned him
Then we have a bunch of anons who didn't touch the novel that are assuming Yellow loves MC because lmao haremshit am I right?
I just made a joke posting "harem" with the Japanese chart...
>There is no way anon would lie to me.
Sure they would
Mai'll develop feelings for MC later on, like, toward the end of the anime, with a open ended conclusion of her realizing something is there between them.
It's still haremshit. If you look at the ratio between male and female main characters, it'll still get classified as harem, even if it's not.
The same was said about Haganai too, yet Yomi fucked up -or, if you believe the story her editor made her change it into a harem, then believe it- where she had to make one of the girls fall for Kadoka and who did she pick? Yukimura. And by volume thirteen made everything revert back to status quo because Haganai was about friendship and not the romance.
Although Blondie brotherzoned MC, later on, if the LN is still on-going, will develop feelings for MC. This isn't some revoluntionary LN, nor is it a revolutionary adaptation that'll save anime. It's a generic below average 2hu anime.
And frankly, KyoAni probably is saving all their yen for the inevitable adaptation of their magnum opus: V.E.G.
I never said it was not a harem, even if Yellow never changed her stance on the MC we would still have Koito, Reina and the LN loli.
And I don't doubt that LN develops her to see MC with other eyes either, but still, what I'm complaining is people saying stuff like "yellow has feelings for the MC but he goes eh nandatte" like they did in other threads.
It was expected really.
People do that with the good kyoani stuff, imagine if they won't do it with the battleschool harem which are a thing that always get called shit before the first ep
I fucking swear, I saw her in a Tamagoro doujin.
So she finally got over the sister fucker.
>Kyoani realizes how much money they make off Shinka clones with big tits
>we'll now have one of these characters every season
It feels weird being directly pandered to, instead of the usual /u/ or yaoi pandering.
Retarded autismos gonna retard.
They take labels too seriously.
Haruhi was a harem too and I don't see no one whine about that. If there's one thing to be sad about it's that this is KyoAni so the ecchi will be minimal. Which is a shame.
It's not like Kyokai no Kanata and Amagi Brilliant Park were these monster hits or anything. They'll hit their 6-8K loyalist disc sale average no matter what they do anyway at Kyoto Animation.
I know /a/ has a fixation on them too. The next Kyoani or SHAFT genre defining smash hit masterpiece is always just around the corner according to /a/ and it's going to come from some light novel fanservice thing apparently too.
Well, it's a battleschool harem. most people looked at it and knew it would be shit from the word go.
Everyone else, looked at it, knew it would be shit, saw that it was KyoAni and started Waifufagging. If there's one thing you can judge without having watched a show, it's character designs.
Red best girl BTW.
>It's basically set up to fail.
Failing and being shit are completely different things.
It will probably fail. It is not terribly original. But we'll see if at least it's fun, like Amaburi. Honestly, that's all I ask for an anime.
>Looks more like Chuu2 than KnK
Nah man this looks like KnK 50%-off.
I saw those ghost things and the super powers and shit and immediately though
"Oh look, more fantasy/magic elements that will never be explored to their full potential and cheap action sequences with no depth or thought put into them, just like in KnK"
KnK's major selling point was the romance, and the interactions between the main group of characters.
This shit looks like a harem, so any believable romance is already out the window. Character interactions could save it, but from the PV's it looks like it's going to be so saturated with fanservice that meaningful interaction will only be an after thought.
It'll still probably sell more than KnK though, just for that fact alone.
I know Chuu2 was a hit, but what about Chuu2-Ren?
You know what bugs me about this anime?
Kyoani is animating the Honorable mention winner ... not their actual winner.
One has to wonder why?
I can tell you why, this is otaku self insert harem and the one that won is aimed at 18+ females.
It's going to be alright, if Kyoani manages to do one thing consistently it is delivering mediocre material every year.
Half KyoAni shows have sold more than that
KnK wasn't really a comedy, the director of this has stated that they want to go for a comedy, people who have watched the screenings have commented on how it's similar to Amagi and Chuu2
KnK wasn't even that bad senpai. It didn't answer a lot of questions for sure but it wasn't nearly as bad as Munto.
KyoAni will animate VEG. They already signed the contract IIRC. It depends on who will direct it though.
This isn't a drama like KnK. It's a lighthearted comedy show. The focus is probably going to be on funny moments with the character interactions and the action taking a back seat.
>Haruhi+Keion+Lucky+Clannad = Half of 22 series.
OK. And you can even count free if you want to. Also they didn't have royalties this time except for Lantis and Pony Canyon unlike their other mega hits.
>Wonder why it failed so hard? Not enough fanservice?
They simply invested too much money in a genre that doesn't sell and doesn't warrant full length episodes.
In comparison something like Teekuyu has returned the money invested tenfold.
>They simply invested too much money in a genre that doesn't sell and doesn't warrant full length episodes.
>In comparison something like Teekuyu has returned the money invested tenfold.
Man, if Kadokawa wasn't stubborn and short-sighted, Nichijou would have been EXCELLENT as a short probably rivaling Hetalia in popularity
No. That's what I'm saying outright.
There are homosexuals and people that enjoy homosexuals in this world. And making an anime aimed at them WHILE being completely honest about it is OK.
Making an anime with cute girls eating short cakes and alluding to straight people topics once in a blue moon to ward of a yuri tag is fucking disgusting.
I honestly want another Ishidate anime. KnK was less than stellar but I feel that only one show and movie is too little to judge the guy. Maybe a Yamada/Ishidate co direction?
>No. That's what I'm saying outright.
>There are homosexuals and people that enjoy homosexuals in this world. And making an anime aimed at them WHILE being completely honest about it is OK.
And those /y/-bait shows like Free, Seraph and K succeeds because of that?
I hope someone draws them feeding each other mouth to energy beam.
>Kyoani is animating the Honorable mention winner ... not their actual winner.
>One has to wonder why?
Most likely because they are still preparing the storyboards. Remember that the physical book only just came out recently. That kind of thing takes time.
Kyoani shows have always been on small amounts of volumes
Chuu2 season 1 was volume 1, Chuu2 season 2 was volume 2
Hibike s1 was volume 1, s2 will be volume 2 and 3
Phantom World is only going to adapt the 1st volume but it's got enough content to fill out an entire season with a beginning and an end. Volume 2 ends openly though so they'd actually need to wait for a volume 3 maybe.
Well, the novel with the honorable mention was the first volume. The second volume was only published two months ago.
So when will this air?
Looks pretty interesting.
>Thankfully after the catastrophic failure that is after earth Will Smith won't appear at all in the new Independence Day!
His character canonically died while test-flying the new alien tech earth built fighter.
The scene is actually a bit more than that.
>koito accidentally goes into the boys room to change
>MC-kun comes in and sees her from behind, thinking she's a boy
>still notes that she has a good ass
>no homo, it's only because i'm an artist
>she turns around
>he quickly tries to muffle her screams as he desperately tries to explain that she went into the wrong room
Jesus Christ how horrifyingly broken for me
Is that why Chitanada would get up in everyone's face all the time and sometimes the camera would focus on her rear and why we kept seeing hip shots in Kyoukai no Kanata and Hibiki and why Sento and the faires had the most sexual looks while Lafica the most adorable ones in Amagi?
The world is a messed up place and all that. In truth I just think he really wanted an excuse to dress like a faggot.
