Taunt in Pokemon only makes it so the Pokemon does Attack Type moves so that really wouldn't help much and just waste a turn. I don't see what's stopping Machamp from blitzing Ranma due to the Choice Scarf and Jolly Nature he has, and landing a sure shot with Dynamic Punch.
