Sorry man but that won't work here. The trailer and the leaked character designs are out. This is the artistic direction they are going for. Instead of hard lines to show masculine JoJo Bizarre Adventure we all love, they will go for featureless soft lines for the faces.

Part 3 adaptation had both. At least better than the part1&2 adaptation.

Now I'm expecting the part 4 adaptation to have pretty much the same amount of animation as part 3 (maybe better. But simpler art doesn't always mean better animation), it's just that the lack of detail is fucking disappointing.

The art style is heavily based on late Part 4 and Part 5, which was less detailed for the most part. Even then, no one bitched about this in 2012, where they fucked up Part 1' and 2's art even more.

Because we were desperate for any kind of jojo anime. We knew it was low-budget as fuck and even joked around about how part 3's stands would be 3dcg. Then part 3 nailed its art style for the most part and we got fucking spoiled. It's just really hard to go back to less detail now but we'll get over it.
