Yeah. Dark Horse is the worst offender.

As far as I understand it, Seven Seas appears to be the sanest. They picked a layout and stuck with it for most of their stuff.

The others like to slap on a pointless "shonen jump" or "shojo beat" or "kadokawa" I don't care about, I just want my Hero-kun and Moeblob-chan. Tokyopoop and old Viz tried to help the readers in a crude fashion which is only slightly better than "ran in magazine X".

Depends on what you collect. I just paid roughly 100 dollars for a single volume. But other manga come at 5 dollars per volume.
Old shit is difficult to get your hands on. I've got several series in my collection that will never be completed. New stuff is cheap and easy.

You can see the moon during daylight hours pretty often. What's wrong with the angle? There's no ground for reference.
>>
>>135101994
Gravity bends light.

This is possible so long as the star is very far away, and the moon (in Spice and Wolf's universe) is much larger than it is in ours.
>>
>>135103533
No, it isn't, because it would require an S shaped bending, and one moon can't do that. There would need to be a second moon, much closer to Earth than the moon in the screenshot in order for that to happen.

It doesn't require an "S" shape bending.

Just put a large mass between it and a low mass moon.
>>
>>135103507
>You can see the moon during daylight hours pretty often.
But not the full moon, because a full moon is generated by being opposite to the Sun from our perspective.

Unless you live on the fucking pole, in which case you have half a year of day and half a year of night, which doesn't match that world anyway.

And you can see trees and sky and no horizon.
>>
>>135103916
Did you just use a non-spherical moon to allow the light to pass through it in order for the light to appear to pass through the crescent moon even though it isn't?

Are you fucking retarded?
>>
>>135103998
It's still bending while it passes the moon.

No you can't. I actually got Volume 10, had it preordered and got it on release and haven't read it yet. I should probably get around to that.

I also bought the rest of Excel Saga and haven't restarted it yet so I can finish it all in one go.

I mostly stopped buying stuff since I have so damn much. I'm afraid to know how many of these series I will never be able to complete now.
>>
>>135105982
It's bad.

It's printed on literally newsprint, so it'll smudge if you every actually touch any page (which you have to if you're reading it).

The pages also fall out of the spine easily. I lost nearly all the pages by attempting to force the spine flat.

These wouldn't be huge problems were it not for the fact the manga is $12 an volume, no $2.

The image is evidently looking up. So for you to have a fully illuminated moon the sun would have to be below.
You know what you call the time when the sun is below the Earth?
Night.

Is rave amster good?
I remember watching the anime, and then just forgetting about it.

Also with the people who buy lots of manga, do you guys just read lots of different things at random?Seems hard to sift though things, and usually I find something I dislike in otherwise good things.

Also do you buy manga before it's finished? Becuase it could become utter shit by the end, or never get finished (Usagi drop and berserk, the former being the main reason I avoid anything unfinished). How do you justify spending money on something like that?
