I read through the first two chapters and paged through others, and I have some comments. It has a REALLY strong first chapter, but it loses a lot of its steam after the time skip (which is immediately). I don't like how the MC and the goddess girl don't have a believable relationship whatsoever, and that they skipped two years so it's even less believable. It also weirds me out how the MC is awfully dull after breaking up with his old girlfriend even though, despite his immortality, he previously was a little more lively than that. It's also REALLY bogged down by text, very obvious this was adapted from a novel.

All in all, kind of a disappointing series. I don't really understand the choice of making the MC so apathetic.

Like, look at this shit. What the fuck? Fuck you, MC, your new girl's fantastic. And he doesn't even call her by her first name.

Vampire Juujikai had a similar setup where your initial preconceptions are completely shattered after every chapter, so I wouldn't count on anything you've said being being set in stone.
It's also a good thing to keep in mind that the manga is still in the exposition, albeit a long one.

I'm gonna have to reserve judgement until all the characters are set after the end of this arc.
I did really like the MC's power, which I thought was a very creative utilization/combination of 2 different powers without being broken.

Eh, it's not like my preconceptions were shattered.

It followed kind of like I was expecting after the curveball timeskip, where it's "weird things are happening, characters go on to resolve it, also some relationship stuff". Early into chapter 3, though, my other expectation ("The MC doesn't really like her, does he?") was met and I skipped ahead to see I wasn't imagining things; he really doesn't seem to care about her. It's rather annoying because I can't be invested in that. I don't think it's cute, just baffling (how the hell am I supposed to believe these two actually fucked?). And if he's going to be that annoying, I can't stay interested. It's pretty much just Kotoko that remains consistently good, Kurou is bothersome.

It's all the more disappointing because, yes, it has some rather neat concepts. I just think if they were going to go the "reluctant relationship" route they really shouldn't have skipped two years. It would make more sense that he's not so into it closer to the breakup and while he still thinks Kotoko is a weirdo.

Shirodaira Kyou does this in literally every manga he's made. Where there's a preexisting relationship between 2 virtually incompatible characters; he'll take that and slowly bring the reader to understand the bonds they share and chemistry between them.

Perhaps I'll read it when it's done, but definitely not now. It's too frustrating.

I don't think it's actually a bad series though, honestly.

I don't think it has lived up to the potential and fun of the first chapter so far. I thought it might be less typical than it has been so far, the first chapter certainly was. Still, all in all, I like it.

I'm talking about his queen Adelheid. The reader is constantly fed lies and misconceptions about their relationship which was actually not as complicated as it was made out to be. Despite supposedly wanting nothing more than to kill each other in the beginning, by the end you find out that their marriage wasn't hateful at all and they got/get along rather well.
