How can people get connected to characters in so many thirteen episode series. It just isn't enough time. Most of them are just advertisements for the source material anyway, right?
Sorry OP but this is now an oreimo thread
Save your load for Christmas, hotshot.
You at least develop some level of attachment to something that is around longer even if it is shit.
Ore no Imouto was such a shit show, but Kanako was so great. I want a spin off with just her and Bridget.
I couldn't think of a good picture to start out with, so I just used the picture of the best girl from that shit show.
>tfw you get connected to a character with
love at first sight
Kanako was better than everyone. would marry / 10
Depends on how the show does it.
Some SoL shows take a long time for you to become attached to the characters since there is usually little to no melodrama for you to connect with (Hidamari Sketch, Shirokuma Cafe, and K-On! for example).
However other shows that generally have more suffering/drama helps connect you to the characters faster. Serial Experiments Lain was only 13 episodes yet I felt more attached to Lain than 95% of anime characters.
>How can people get connected to characters in so many thirteen episode series.
More like why people need 24 episodes to get connected to character.
You must be retarded or what.
13 episodes x 24 minutes = 312 minutes
That's 5.2 hours
You can't connect to someone in five hours? Seeing someone for 20 minutes a day for thirteen weeks isn't enough for you? Especially when those 5 hours contain some of the most intimate and personal details of that person's life?
OP, that is the mindset of an autist.
What do you mean by "get connected"? I can get attached to a character the instant they show up if they have that special something, so if by connected you mean attached then 13 episodes is more than enough.
> Most of them are just advertisements for the source material
Why do people still spout this meme? Anime is a 13 billion dollar industry. That is as big as video games. Do you think something that big is used as just an advertisement for manga/ligh tnovels?
I pick Kirino and tell you to fuck off to >>>/v/.
Hey kid you got the wrong block. The Loser childhood friend club is two blocks down.
>not taking off glasses before the fight
I meant more as a broad statement of thirteen episode series in general, not Oreimo.
Have you watched any shorts? I think people normally get into a show within the first 3 episodes so it is a little odd to not get into a show at all after finishing it. Why even watch anime if you're not into it? That said, maybe you're just not watching something you like?
I confused it for the other thread. I don't know Kanako is just cute. I would say its how the voice actor portrays the character or something related.
Had Manami done nothing, Kirino and Kyousuke would've grown up like normal siblings. Kyousuke would've been this hot-shot hot-blooded pussy slayer and wouldn't have settled with Manami anyways.
When Manami told Kirino that liking her brother was bad, it created a divide between them. The caused there to be a certain taboo element to their relationship, and at the same time the Westermarck effect didn't happen because of the social divide between the two. Which leads to the events of Oreimo.
Manami literally never had a chance of winning.
To little meat, sorry, but without a doubt she would be a wonderful wife.
That's a lot of kanako for a single thread, good job /a/
>everyone impressed at how saori was
i want to cum inside kirino
kanako would be fun to hang out with
