Does it really make any difference? Even without the angel DEM was always superior to Ratatoskr. Remember how Ellen was able to sneak inside Shidou's house with ease? Ellen also implied in the same scene they are constantly watching Shidou and the others. DAL is above the average in terms of plot and it's likeable. The MC has a slow character development and you can actually see how he mellows in each volume, though his idea of saving everyone remains intact.His powers are basically:
- Sealing
- Wielding the angels
