Tried rewatching this show, but with a friend of mine who has never seen it, and he just constantly shit on it because the colors would change. He said it was lazy and that the animators forgot what they were doing.

I told him that that's the way it's supposed to be. No canon colors, and he just tole me that it was really dumb and lazy.

Then he was complaining about how melodramatic and over the top it was, which again is just what Jojo is. He kept repeating that he was enjoying it, which is to say he didn't, so I just stopped watching it with him and continued by myself.

Part 2 is where it really gets good. It's 10x better in everything, especially presentation. Give episode 1 a try and see if you like the change in style.

I've tried but it doesn't resolve or end well. It all really clicked into place when I asked if he would like to hang out sometime, and he said he couldn't since he needed to heal (this was sometime after his surgery), then the following days he's telling me how he went to the movies, had lunch, etc with his other friends.

Sorry for the blog post but this is an issue that has been hurting me lately. Shit happened recently in my life and the moment I needed someone to lean one everyone left me. Still butthurt about it.
