>Thank you very much for kindly coming to the D.Gray Stage today. The announced making of an upcoming new anime series has been decided. Though it's a continuation the creators are completely remaking it so I think this will be a completely new D.Gray-Man anime. I would be so happy for it to have your support. Though it looks like Manager K presented this Instagram on the D.Gray Stage (laughing), no matter what this is my lax personal account, so things like formal announcements are not usually put out here. For formal dispatches, please check the Jump SQ or D.Gray-Man anime official websites.
I maybe OP, but I was like pic related reading the report from JF
>The tagline on the key visual reads, "I want to live. Even if I destroy you."
Who will they cast to voice this faggot?
Miyano if they can afford him.
Every DGM thread reminder that Past!Allen is responsible for:
[x] The previous Earl's disappearance
[x] Mana became the Earl
[x] Mana went batshit insane
[x] Kanda and Alma's love turned from pure to gay
[x] Lavi became a wormslut
[x] Katerina's death
[x] Cross's death
[x] Timcanpy's death
[x] New anime's VA changes
[x] Bookman's promised death
[x] Apocryphos raping everyone
[x] This manga releases on quarterly schedule
How come? Hell shit like One Punch Man got a sticking yet its mediocre. Fucking KyoAni shit gets a sticky too. However, D.Gray Man can't. That's fucking stupid.
Its been in 10 fucking years for this series. So if something big like this where a anime was just announced which is a fucking miracle can't get a sticky. Then what can?
>This deserves it as much as Berserk when they got off the boat,
DGM is not as popular or significant as Berserk and quite frankly nobody really cares outside Nostalgiafags
Gintama is way more popular than DGM
HELP ME YOU FAGGOTS I WANT TO MASTURBATE ALL DAY TO LENALEE.
A girl with amazing thighs usually have nice ass you massive doublenigger.
NOW POST LENALEE.
Do you like FMA and Kingdom Hearts?
>Your friend dying before you
>Gotta harvest the soul/memory
>Leaving behind your friend's body for his insane brother to eat
Convince me Past!Allen did nothing wrong all you want
Las thing I remember about the mango since the fucking author is a worthless piece of shit who writes garbage instead of the manga, is the fact Marian is fucking dead, he lost the gun and there was enough blood to say he's fucked up.
no... he got away from that and then was 'assasinated' in his room
who can't wait for this vacuum vixen?
i would definitely agree with this and I am a fan
It is no where near the nü-egde that medaka box, or akame attempt to achieve which aijin does.
It is most of the time playful and based around SoL characterization with lots of flourish to the fights, but they are still easily discerned. Some world building but never enough that you can get mad at the power-level plot twists - except maybe that last fight between the experiments.
>All this thread full of motherfuckers who likes shitty lenalee
>Not liking the best girl in the entire series general Klaud
What the fuck just happened? liking a girl who can't even say her true feelings toward Allen instead of the eternal goddess?
clearly, you are not a fan. Get out.
Lenalees thighs are more sexualized than oreos.
>dead stay dead
Yup, no. It is never that serious it is a fun ride.
you're on /a/, every fan base is terrible, or descends into shitposting because of shitposting-trolls (re:you)
To be fair, just being a WSJ manga with a longish anime almost automatically rockets you to the top of Western visibility, especially when there were half as many shows each season and no legal simulsubs for the entire roster.
It must be hard after Allen told her he saw her as an onee-san.
>just being a WSJ manga with a longish anime almost automatically rockets you to the top of Western visibility
Well you're full of shit also funny enough DGM did terrible when it was released by Funi that they dropped the title half way through.
Did that happen in the manga? I remember them first meeting he thinking her cute, cut to the last time their together and she's blushing like a virgin school girl.
The outfits they wore were lewd.
Think FMA but with none of the memorable or great characters, shitty art that the author steal from other works, Ed is an emofag with no personality, Mustang is an unlikable edgefag who is Fujobait, Winry, Al, Hawkeye etc. aren't relevant and do nothing after their introduction, plot is a confusing clusterfuck, and only gets released two times a year. That's pretty much DGM.
Oh, I've only read the manga and watched the anime until after either the Koryu arc/Miranda arc I forget which came first.
Is the anime worth finishing?
Lenalee couldn't see anyone on a romantic light because she was traumatized by the Black Order's experiment on human beings.
She didn't had a crush on Allen.
Then Tikki made her think he had a painful slow death.
Since then her feelings started to slowly change, first to her Allen was friend, then family, then someone she look up(Arc Arc) which her feelings started a small change after watching Road' misterious obsession over Allen.
Her worries over Allen grew more when he was confirmed to be the 14th.
And she got more confused when Allen supposedly was taken by Noah's only to realize he left the Order on his own and she was too indecisive to go with him.
So no, no solid feelings of love from Lenalee.
Allen's is a mystery, maybe he has some for her but so far Road has the upper hand overall.
I don't even like DGM but this is a really poor description. Heres a better one:
>Imagine a Kingdom Hearts where there are no disney characters but there is a very cute, evil brown girl.
Also France and Portugal, which I guess you say are spics as well. So, yeah, it wasn't popular in the West at all, just in the twenty-odd "spic countries" that made up most of anime's Western fanbase at the time.
>DBZ smaller than anything
Yep, you are wrong, and you need to accept this.
That being said, Saint Seya was still big - i don't know why all these newfags crying so hard.
Cool lie bro
>just in the twenty-odd
Pulling numbers out your ass it seems
>that made up most of anime's Western fanbase at the time.
>Saint Seiya is popular in France
>Sanctuary CG Film opened in Italy
>Canvas got a continuation due to its huge sales in Spain
>One of the characters in Omega is a spic
But yeah it was huge in France I'm sure.
But that's wrong (Reborn is #17 and Gintama #73)
sales are very good too
Fma is on another level of godly story all together but I welcome you to compare d.gray-man with the likes of black clover or whatever new series is currently serializing in sj right now. That's right, you can't because dgm is better. Hindsight will always be biased, anon.
And this is bs, saint seiya is huge in France and with the chinks, especially since the lost canvas came out.
Saint Seiya is fucking huge in China as well. Stop hating on it just because it never took off in English speaking countries.
The only thing it has in common with dgm is its massive fujoshit fanbase.
Is it a recent thing with the chinks, or did they have a big weeb base back then too?
There's already been threads about the DGM announcement, and 80% of the discussion right now is just the one guy baiting anyway.
>better than AssClass, BHA, Souma
Here's your reply
Road is best girl. She's the only reason I don't drop the manga and will watch.
>DGM has actual plot and development that isn't retarded shit for braindead readers.
Because of three years without a chapter, yeah. Bastard's been mostly abandoned, too, but you're not going to try telling me WSJ's 2010s newcomers are better than that, too, are you?
And it's top 9 in the reading list stats
Oh, yes, the old tactic of jumping back and forth between claims without ever answering when pressed on one. You already tried this one, though, and as I said, it's better because it's not chapter after chapter of boring meandering nothing with no real development, and even Alma looks like a masterpiece next to this Azami bullshit Souma's pulling right now.
I can post ANN stats too if you want
LA LA LA LA LA YOU LOSE I WIN LALALALA
>hi I'm Kanda's gay friend who is just being introduced now
>oh noooo I'm hoing berserk and killing everyone
>BO is bad guise I did nuthin wrong
>I teleported Kanda and Alma away to have gay secks
Why is /a/ so pissed about the Alma arc?
If a mangaka tends to take breaks I wait for an arc to be complete before reading it, I remember the Alma arc as ok. The ending could have been better, some things about the past of the characters were nice, I don't remember much else.
yeah, it was a clusterfuck of bad storytelling and gaysechs
it was ok. I didn't feel the need to rage at all, unlike the previous two arcs where all deaths were nullified for... no reason
>its better because I say so
Yeah...great argument kid.
Once again those are the number of people who voted for which curriculum soans over 10 years when DGM first started, Reborn started later and Gintama never got scanlations until much later which is why the numbers are lower. But hell continue to be wrong like the jackass you are.
I think he looked more like a man before. After the long hiatus, he became more feminine thanks to the art change.
Saint Seiya is old as fuck and its been around since the early 90s in chinkland. I remember watching them throw gayass flowers on tv as one of my earliest memories. The older fans love the original 12 temples and hades ova series, but the newer fans love lost canvas as well.
Its a shame it came way too late to the United States. But, it has the potential to be bigger than even sailor moon if we could wind back time, because it really is that good. And, saying that only spics are fans outside of Japan are completely inaccurate.
Sorry for being completely off topic in a dgm thread.
She has always been hinting that kanda was looking for someone from his past and the explanation for second exorcist was sad af. The plot for the alma karma arc was there. The frames were just rushed as hell and for whatever reason, wss a bit hard to follow. Bur now that it will become anime, tms can fix whatever is wrong with it.
My only problem with alma id that I dislike his design. All her newly introduced characters have been pretty ugly with the exception of link and wisely,
When I first saw him in a fanart on deviantart I thought he was a tomboy and wanted to waifu him but Hoshino made him more masculine now so I consider him more as my husbando.
We aren't, but a small amount of trolls love to stir up shit. Just don't reply to the baits.
>Why is /a/ so pissed about the Alma arc?
Because it was a confusing poorly drawn mess that introduced the shittiest character in the manga next to that useless kid and had Kanda the least interesting character as the lead because fujoshi.
>You're seriously retarded if you think Gintama is/was/whatever more popular than DGM or Reborn
>Three seasons of Gintama are within MAL's top 10 highest rating anime
>Is going on strong for 10 years whike DGM got canned after 2
>Manga sales still strong
Stay mad, lenaleefags. Even the author is homoship shill as proven by her choices with kanda and allen.
By deciding to turn this into anime, the industry is literally choosing the fujoshits. Have you seen the lineup for next season's animes.
>Alma got introduced suddenly
As if an entire arc before are spent nothing
>Suddenly went berserk
Because he was angry by the fact that they aren't even allowed to die. That's for the first time.
The second time was because he found out the reason why Kanda betrayed him and it was him who makes Kanda lives a meaningless life for 9 years straight without knowing anything. He became angry not just with Kanda and the Order but also himself.
However, he didn't try to kill Kanda because he was angry but because he didn't want Kanda to find out the harsh truth that Kanda had destroyed his own one and only reason and resolve to live by his own very hands. And Alma was going to die soon from the dark matter anyway so he decided to bring Kanda down with him.
Too bad Allen saw it through and had the damn soul-seeing eye
she doesn't. She can do anything and still get royalty checks in the mail, As proven by her many years of hiatus and designing for valvrave.
It's the studios who still want to profit off the fujodollars.
I'm not even a kandafag so I don't even care. As long as we get to see road once in a while, I'll take what I can get.
You're the one who was complaining about people using votes instead of completed-lists five seconds ago. Keep your story straight if you want to shitpost with the big boys.
We were discussing the manga, but also, if you use the proper list and not the votes, even the anime beats both Gintama and Reborn. http://myanimelist.net/topanime.php?type=bypopularity&limit=50
Side-note: Black Bullet is the 100th most popular anime on MAL? What the fuck?
This. I was into both dgm and reborn fandoms back in High School and I only have fond memories for d.gray-man.
Thiking back, old me was fucking retarded for liking a series that turns a baseball bat into a sword.
She didn't die in the manga yet. Just memory damage or however translations called it.
And, I would not be upset if she did. Her sacrifice would have meaning. All my favorite characters are dead anyway. As a saintseiyafag, I'm used to it.
Apparently fewer people on basically every English-language online community have seen it than DGM or read it than DGM, so that's an interesting claim unless you're talking specifically about Japan.
Can you faggots stop replying to that one retard whose been shitposting on the dgm announcement threads all day?
It's like arguing with a middle schooler.
It was fun to laugh about his stupidity at first, but the novelty's worn off and he's just kinda irritating now.
Gintama is okay but honestly, I can't stand the serious arcs. I only watch the anime once in a while for comedy.
I don't know about you guys, but I don't see any merits about comparing it to d.gray-man. Gintama has a current anime that's airing and covering one of the last arcs -shogun assassination , so what if it is more popular or isn't?
why are we arguing about this?
>It's like arguing with a middle schooler.
>It was fun to laugh about his stupidity at first, but the novelty's worn off and he's just kinda irritating now.
Are you talking about DGMfags or the shitposter?
Johnny is a total faggot and I'm still waiting for hoshino to kill him off.
If you even need to ask that question, then anon is talking about you.
Jesus christ faggots, just go and reread the manga and stop arguing so you can enjoy the anime when it comes out.
>I want to live. Even if I destroy you
It's one cour of the Alma arc
I know but with the re-casts and this
>though it's a continuation the creators are completely remaking it so I think this will be a completely new D.Gray-Man anime.
I thought it was probably going to be with anime original stuff
>S2 that you didn't want
Stay salty faggot that your favorite animu doesn't have a second season.
having opinions this shit. Go away and go read some bleach, black clover, naruto in that case, faggot.
I liked Alma arc. It really explains why Kanda has a stick up his ass 99% of the time.
>an adaption of one of the shittiest arcs
For what purpose?
I don't know about you, anon but alma arc really absolved my problems with kanda. Some of you guys love being around abusive assholes but I prefer the fun and funny types or at least have a clear reason on why they're the way they are. Nabari no Ou comes to my mind for when they explained why yoite is such a dick.
Kanda isn't a shitty character and never was. But.
Lenalee was and I love watching lenafagsdrown in salt right about now.
>The sky was dyed beautifully by the evening sun.
>The mix of red and orange, reflected in the snow on the ground, is very dazzling. The rays of the sun lit up the plants, trees and people, changing slowly.
>"How beautiful!” Mana praises.
>"I love beautiful worlds the best.”
>Mana says, yet he looks like he had cried.
>Kanda isn't a shitty character and never was.
He was and still is, the arc didn't make him any less shitty and only gave him Sasuke level of plot favorism making the rest of the cast obsolete barring Johnny for some god forsaken reason.
I remember being really disappointed with it because Alma felt like a plot device and the drama was shaky. Somehow I expected more out of Kanda's arc given the lotus(?) foreshadowing for all those years.
I think it's a sequel but you don't have to watch the prequel to understand what's going on, like Bakemonogatari or something
>Though it's a continuation the creators are completely remaking it so I think this will be a completely new D.Gray-Man anime
