how common are fujo's in Japan? I feel they are a lot more common there than the US
Also Prisma Illya thread
Yesterday I went to Ikebukuro and Animate there seemed to have an event related to some fujo anime. It was swarming with girls. And not even ugly fujo stereotypes, normal Japanese girls wanting to get some goods with their husbando.
As a percentage of anime fans it's probably less in Japan than overseas. You probably don't notice this being a friendless NEET and everything but most foreign anime fans are girls

I saw a lot of girls in Ikebukuro checking out anime stuff as well, when I went to Tokyo last May.
One of the stores I went to had all their floor signs in Japanese, and I ended up stumbling into a floor dedicated to yaoi fangirls.
Some of the girls turned around and started staring at me, before I realized I was on the wrong floor.
I ended up liking Nakano and Ikebukuro a lot more then Akiba though, wish I had gone to Ikebukuro sooner and explored it longer in particular.

It depends on where you cross the line between a fujo and a female anime fan. Sometimes I feel like you guys see all female anime fans as fujos.

Every girl is a fujoshi desu, the ones who aren't simply haven't read BL yet.

They are so common, they have a street solely with shops to pander to them.
If you're japanese, your mom is 50% sure to be one.
There's also 30% she's yankee(delinquent) and 5% chance to be a loli.

I was pretty surprised when I went to see the Love Live movie. I was expecting it to be probably 80% guys and 20% girls, but it was more like 70% girls and 30% guys instead. Bitches love idols.

I don't know how much more I can take of this suffering.
All I know is it will all be worth it for Unlimited Blade Works.

Quite a lot, last year I went they lined the streets for an event (at Ikekuburo which is the female version of Akiba). Also have lots of them queuing up for a Kuroko no basket themed cafe at Sunshine Plaza.

The last few chapters of 3rei have been a long flashback about how Shirou and Kiritsugu found Miyu, Shirou's conflict between his ideals/Kiritsugu's legacy and protecting her, his relationship with his classmates Julian and Sakura, and now the start of his efforts to rescue her from the Ainsworths with the help of a certain priest.
