Takbir. Thank you support multiculture.
Can't wait to see if and how they're going anime original again.
>[HorribleSubs] Noragami Aragoto - 12 [720p].mkv
Did Nora get left behind in the underworld?
I'm guessing she got out like Kazuma since he was just lying on the ground when Veena got called out. There must be something with the soul call where the shinki follow their god.
That's a good enough reason for me.
Bones, what the fuck are you doing? This was never in the manga. And Ebisu never fucked off in the forest, Yato didn't get out of The Underworld until after
You asked for spoilers, anon.
He killed lots and lots of people for his father, just because his dad wanted to "cull the herd." He thought of it as playing around with Hiiro until he learned that killing people is bad. And he kept doing it from time to time because his father called him while he was already off doing his own thing with new shinki and hated every second of it.
>The manga also didn't show exactly how she got out.
She got out because "father" called out to her. He's human (or inhabits a human body, at least) so he can do the soul call trick too.
The anime will probably show the same thing next episode.
His father is the real sorcerer that used Ebisu as a scapegoat in this arc. He stayed alive this long by swapping bodies every few decades. His motivation still isn't fully revealed, but he hates gods with a passion because they think they're above human judgment.
After watching the scene, it looks like Yato was holding the sword on his way up and dropped it before he arrived at the top.
Looks like Bones couldn't resist going anime original in the end. Just when I thought Noragami would be an example of them being faithful to a source material.
Though in the grand scheme of things they didn't change much really. Ebisu still died and Yato and Bishamon both escaped the Underworld. All that remains is Yato releasing Nora and taking child Ebisu to the shop lady's place. All they really did was spice up the final battle a little, since it was kinda anticlimactic in the manga, what with Ebisu just getting zapped by Raijin.
>Yato escapes Yomi What was the point of this?
Thirteenth episode on top.
There comes a point where the cake goes dry.
>All they really did was spice up the final battle a little, since it was kinda anticlimactic in the manga, what with Ebisu just getting zapped by Raijin.
Really? I thought that was what made his death all the more tragic. That when Ebisu finally decides he wants to live is when he can do absolutely nothing about it except die.
This is Bones we're talking about. They probably felt it wasn't flashy enough and would have more impact if Yato personally witnessed it. Also in typical Bones fashion their concept of a powerful ritual held by multiple gods is basically just a spirit bomb.
It also showed off Yukine's new power compared to Kazuma's for the first time after his level-up. Otherwise we would have had to wait for at least another half season to see him in action.
I think they also wanted to insert some Hafuri moments there to tie in a little more with what's currently happening in the manga. We didn't really get /that/ many moments of Hafuri showing how overpowered they were in comparison to regular Shinki in the manga
How can one girl be so best in every season she is in?
Yato has centuries of experience being a best girl.
What was the deal with this? I assume a different reading of the kanji?
>still want him to die to see shota Ebisu
I kinda understand why they changed the events a bit but I still don't like it. Also I think the name calling scene could have been better.
Exactly. That he comes out wanting to be alive for once but is instantly struck down by heaven.
It's important because it feeds more suffering for Yato, makes the viewer sympathize against 'heaven' and it was kinda perfect how the next time Yato sees Ebisu is him in his reincarnated form especially when they had that huge point going across about how he shouldn't keep reincarnating like that.
I dunno man this is fucked up. I'm genuinely upset at this. I really enjoyed the tragic part of the arc for both Ebisu and Yato. This is fucking bullshit.
Also where's my fucking Amaterasu loli.
She's a SLUT. A SLUT.
You can learn kana very easily in a short amount of time. Both hiragana and katakana are syllabic alphabets used to write words phonetically, not any different from western alphabets.
Kanji is an entirely different matter. It requires a lot of dedication to learn enough kanji to be fluent in reading, but even with just mastery over kana Japanese becomes a lot more accessible to you.
>"Call him by his true name. I'm sure it'll make him happy."
I was so looking forwards to that line. But they don't only removed that, they even removed loli Amaterasu herself.
I hate you, Bones.
My only hope is that they atleast do this little thing. If even this is skipped then I don't even know anymore.
Anyone else fap to these creatures?
Better, the first season dragged yukines bitch phase out for too long and had a really mediocre anime original end. While this season isnt a perfect adaption its still an improvement, so long as bones doesn't completely fuck up the next episode
So is Yato Kenshin or not?
I want to see him go Hitokiri Battousai mode and kill some Gods.
I don't know about gods, but he did kill humans, including some kids.
I don't know. I always thought it was way too creepy and over the top for Yato to be holding a dead child like that in that moment. That's a moment when you're supposed to sympathise with him, but I couldn't feel that way when I read the manga.
I think it was a good call for the anime to remove the kid. We know he killed people, no need to go overboard with it.
The kanji for boku looks similar to the katakana to in Yato. The shrine Hiyori crafted for Yato must have his true name on it because he looked genuinely happy when he received it. That gave Hiyori the hint
>Koufuku fucked them up
It was said the couples Koufuku set-up would be met with misfortune. That doesn't mean they would be turn apart.
Besides, if you consider all the misfortune they already went thought together (what happened at Hiyori's hospital, for example) I don't think Koukufu's intervention would change things too much.
Koufuku's poverty powers will be negated by Yato's calamity powers and all will be well, you'll see!!
>What did Koufuku do?
She set them up as soul mates in a match-making event in heaven. They're fated to be together now.
Problem is, all the couple she set up are met with misfortune. She's the god of poverty, after all.
It just makes their potential hook-up more dramatic. That's all.
I was surprised that there is one more episode.
I almost had a shit fit when i saw that it was a cliffhanger.
thankfully it's all fine.
