>thought Okabe is hugging Kagari
>it actually IS Kurisu
Heh, well played.
How do you even stay a fan of Steins;Gate after finishing the series? Literally every single character felt like they were putting it on. The movie was absolute fanservice and came across the same way. It was almost depressing and in the bad way.
He ends up on the Alpha attractor field for a brief moment. He freaks out and glomps her and nearly has a heart attack. Then he realizes that Mayuri is dead on this worldline and he almost has a complete and total meltdown
>it was never really marketed as a "true" sequel
Zero was likely marketed that way due to all the fan-discs around, and thus it had to be shown that zero was part of the series canon.
I haven't completed it 100% yet but I'd say it's at least as good as the first one in terms of story. The way the routes are laid out feels less confusing and the new phone is a lot easier to navigate.
Why would you break my heart like that anon?
Plot is more interesting, things that occur don't feel forced
OST is better
Chararcters are better used (S;G was leaning harem in some parts, kinda turned me off)
Pacing is a lot better
And this is a minority opinion, but even Huke's art improved.
It's not that there's much of this proportionally, I just have a ton of art. Most art is generally pretty upbeat and pleasant.
I have some of that.
>Do any of the S;G cast really need MORE suffering?
They certainly do.
Who else here was bothered by then looks of the labmems in the future.
They are all 40 but everyone except Daru is the fucking same.
Luka was literally a 40 years old trap.
And about the ending, what year is it when Okabe fucks off with the tile machine? Who is the Suzuha who reaches the past Okabe knowing about the video mail?
And why is Okabe looking like a model the whole VN?
I want to know what future Kurisu looks like. She can't possibly stay that slender and soft forever.
Nothing like losing the love of your life across the 4th dimension to turn you into a pussy magnet. Chicks dig tortured souls that will never love again.
Such is life of a PTSD patient.
But he's a waifufag that always talks to his 2d on his phone. He would also never betray Kurisu's memory like that.
>Okabe always talks to his 2d waifu
>meanwhile, Daru got a real waifu instead
Dammit Okabe, don't just pick anyone to be your labmem.
What is this face tying to convey?
>feel like I had a dream about Kurisu but can't remember what exactly it was about or if it actually happened
>remember that people often have hazy, dreamlike recollections of experiences from other world lines
>tell myself that I, like Kurisu, have a lesser form of Reading Steiner and that we actually did meet and we were happy together
>now I have Roy Orbison's "In Dreams" stuck in my head
Good thing that the main draw of the franchise is the characterisation. There were some great moments in there
>Most of Okabe's scenes
>Daru talking about his fucking afterglow
>Kurisu putting on her best mad scientist
>Kurisu quietly watching the origin of Hououin Kyouma while Suzuha sneakily watched her in the background
Fuck off, the movie's set-up was shit from the very beginning. Okabe and Kurisu being in a failed long term relationship because Okabe stopped texting her. Like, come the fuck on, Okabe just spent several of his lifetimes, the entirety of Zero, working to save her and be with her, but "oh no, being apurt for 6 months was 2much2handle, and now I can't bear 2 text her anymure". It goes against everything previously established about his character, and the plot itself. It's the very fucking definition of forced drama.
Yes. I know you're joking, but if they were gonna just cram it full of fanservice, they should've dispersed it amoung all the girls and had sonme fappable stuff.
>inB4 Kurisu night shirt scene
I'm not attracted to worms.
>mfw they almost use the same set-up in Antimatter
While I hated that they did that in Antimatter too, at least it made a bit more sense there. They'd been happily together for 6 years, and had just entered a couple's argument which would probably be fixed by the end of the story.
I can think of a lot of good reasons that their SG worldline relationship might be going less than smoothly. In fact, the episode 25 OVA actually addresses some of them. An inexplicable failure of Okabe to email her after receiving confirmation that this Kurisu reciprocated his feelings is not one of them.
>I know you're joking
That's the thing, though. I honestly don't know if I'm joking. I would pay good money to see a story centered solely around drunk Kurisu.
I can see it now -- a Hangover-style time travel story. The whole lab goes out to the bar one night. They raise a toast, start drinking, and the night takes off from there. We cut then to Kurisu waking up -- her hotel room is trashed, she can't remember anything that happened the night before, and hotel management is pounding on her door ready to throw her out on the street.
Worse yet, Okabe has gone missing without a trace. He's not answering his phone, and each of the lab mems is MIA, as well. Kurisu checks her phone's send history to find several text messages that she doesn't remember sending. Come to find out she sent a bevy of E-mails and jumped multiple worldlines.
Thus Kurisu embarks on a quest to find her friends, retrace her steps, piece together the events of the night before, find her husbando, and send d-mails to fix the ones she already sent -- and with the Rounders and an angry band of Filipino midgets hot on her trail, the clock is ticking fast.
This somehow sounds close to Kyouma's route in Phenogram.
>her face when one of the texts reads "just fuck me in the butt"
D-mail of course, so she has to find out if he actually did it.
Switch darling and phenogram and it's perfect
>one of the attacker is Fubuki's brother
Heh, who would've thought it.
But she is in it.
Wait, two fake Kurisu doesn't make one real.
>this Okabe will never get Kurisu and has to satisfy himself knowing another Okabe does
They told me I was crazy for getting paranoid about this.
Now look at them.
I look at them and laugh.
Will there be a waifuwar next year when the anime airs?
>Takeshi Abo: If I may compare them with the states of weather, Chaos;Head is rainy, Steins;Gate would be cloudy, and Robotics;Notes would be clear weather. And the latest entry, Chaos;Child would be stormy.
So, what about Zero? Hurricane?
A pity that we only get to see so little of it.
