Boros didn't die with 1 punch. He died with multiple and that's because he depleted all his power in the Rawr Cannon. Otherwise he could probably regenerate from the Serious Series Super Punch.

If any enemy forced Saitama to get even slightly serious that was Garou. Fucking Garou had the potential to be as powerful as Saitama but went insane and messed it up. His semi-limitless form though made Saitama go serious. And God-Garou had some top rate durability as well. He took normal punches with almost no damage, and managed to tank a barrage with only a horn breaking. Eventually he run out of steam.

So now we have 2 God level adversaries that managed next to nothing except tanking a few blows. I believe metal knight will build something equal or difficult for saitama to beat. Since he already understood that Saitama is God Level + threat.
