Why is he still bored when someone finally survived his one punch? Is there no pleasing this asshole?
He has low expectations. He also doesn't like Boros, who literally destroyed a city just because he's bored and searching for a fight. The only reason he even humors him and "fights" him is because he actually sympathizes somewhat with Boros' problem.
Boros at full power can't even take 1 punch. What does that tell you about weakened Boros? Seeing him release his power made Saitama realize this guy's just another weak chump.
He's also probably a bit saddened by the fact that this guy has traveled all over the universe searching for a decent fight, meaning he may be the best the universe has to offer and if he can't put up more than a lightshow Saitama has nothing out there to look forward to.
I'll put it in terms you can understand.
>Be the ultimate weeb, with a knowledge library consisting of literally every anime and manga ever conceived
>You're used to normalfags who have less than 5 series' under their belts trying to shittalk you
>Put them down each in turn; devastate their buttholes with superior weeb knowledge
>One day this faggot nigger show sup and gets all up in your face. Hey, he even managed to name a few obscure titles.
>Humor him by testing his knowledge with a bit of your own. He instantly proves himself entry-level as fuck, better than the normies but not even worth your time.
>Nigga takes off his shirt and "gets serious" by namedropping a few more titles, thinking he's tough shit.
>Bitch Nigga: "I've watched Samurai Flamenco and Overlord, debate me son!"
Would you respond with anymore more than "Okay pal."
So you can sympathize with his up-and-coming power levels, but damn son, nigga made the mistake of
talking shit about your waifu, so you can't just let him go.
Despite your kindred tastes, you're gonna have to put him down. To put things into perspective, your backlog alone is probably more anime than he's seen in his entire life. He's that insignificant to you.
>hurrr durrrr hurrr
Is what I read from your post. Are you the same fuck that made that shitty thread about the Sea King asking why he didnt die when he had his heart punched out?
>He's also probably a bit saddened by the fact that this guy has traveled all over the universe searching for a decent fight, meaning he may be the best the universe has to offer and if he can't put up more than a lightshow Saitama has nothing out there to look forward to.
Yep. This basically confirmed to him that Space has nothing to offer him.
Ooooooor Saitama knows he can steam role the mofo, so why exactly would he give a shit. It would make no fucking sense if he did.
You guys need to drop this "everything is a parody in opm" mentality.
>Hey did you hear what happened to the mighty invincible lord Boros the unbeatable overlord of the universe? He went to earth looking for a challenge and got punched so hard he exploded by the first person he met there
Will Saitiama ever find a bigger fish?
>>"I became to strong and slowly lost my emotions"
>>Guys he lacks character because he's supposed to be FUNNY, it's a COMEDY
He literally told you why he's like that on episode one.
You say that like it can't be both. It is exactly what you say it is, and at the same time nothing you say contradicts what he says. You're speaking on a character level, he's speaking on a writing level
That was a moved joke. He was supposed to have that monologue right before showing it was wrong when he gets angry at the mosquito he couldn't kill. He says that killing monsters is as easy as crushing that mosquito and makes him feel nothing then immediately loses it trying to kill the mosquito.
Is you not getting the joke a joke? It's getting harder and harder for me to tell lately.
He's giving Boros what he's been looking for all this time. He can sympathize with him so he prolongs the fight to give him the opportunity for a good brawl before he kills him.
Anyone else think that Saitama must've fought stronger enemies than boros and garou before where the manga started? Even when he got sent to the moon it was like hes been in worse situations and didnt even care. Hes probably already had enemies survive his punches before.
He couldn't give Boros what he wanted, the end of the fight is bitter to both because the it was too one sided
Saitama was so strong and Boros got trashed so hard that both felt like shit
Well that and it's his job to kill monsters like him, especially intergalactic god-level ones that just incinerated an entire city.
He's had tougher fights, but that's because he wasn't always as strong as he is now. His opponents were relatively strong, but there appears to be nothing that can even compare to Saitama now.
If you remember his dream with the Subterraneans, he only considered them a worthy threat when their punches actually made him bleed.
Boros hasn't done shit yet except monologue.
There isn't anything to reach...no higher plateau to eclipse with Saitama. He wanted to be a hero who can help people but he also wanted to be challenged. He has become so powerful that no one is a threat and thus he is bored and is unhappy at how predictable life has become.
Extreme power with no one to test it out on is boring as shit.
>Boros' threat level is "higher than Dragon"
>Let's call his powelevel Dragon +
>WTF? Dragon+? Whatever
>Let's suppose we have a God++ level threat
>That's at least capable of destroying entire planets. Plural, not singular.
>If Saitama is at least a planet buster, which he is, a God ++ level threat might just make Saitama get serious.
>I hypothesize that a serious Saitama is at least a threat level of God+++
I do, however, think that Saitama is eventually going to find a worthy adversary someday.
I do, however, think Saitama might get in a relationship with Tatsumaki. I like both Fubuki and Tatsu equally, so no problem./spoiler]
Will Saitama and King be the only undefeated heroes by the end of the web comic?
It was mentioned that Boros is "higher than Dragon". I know it's stupid to call him Dragon+, as the next thing higher that Dragon is God. Still, let's just be as explicit as we can.
If Dragon+ can
destroy a planet's surface do a lot of damage, I think that it's not far fetched as seeing an actual God or God+ level threat being able to destroy planets.
I am up to date with the manga, and I think Garou , might someday become strong enough to be at that level, since his power is obtained in a similar or equal way as Saitama's .
ONE's art style is QUALITY. That's why I like reading the manga by Murata because it shows what ONE cannot.
>Also, Tatsumaki a CUTE. A CUTE!
>Fubuki, though, is made for BREADing.
>hurr durr I like poor paneling and lack of contrast better than gestural drawing and artistic framing
You are entitled to your opinion, but if you don't read the webcomic, don't post your opinions.
I absolutely love King's design: they managed to make him very intimidating in the manga, and conveyed that same feeling in th elast couple episodes of the anime.
it's going to make the pay off of him not being an actual hero all the better for the people who don't read
Holy shit what? They wanted an exhilarating fight. What they want is a fight that isn't one sided, not to lose a fight. Nobody was happy. When you see how Boros behaves when he dies you'll understand.
Most dragon threat besides the meteor were far from being able to easily level a city, and dragon is "threat for several cities".
Why are people so retarded with putting God threat"s requirement so high? Boros, Garou and Tatsumaki are all way way stronger than other dragon threats, so logically they would be god, nothing hard. And technically Saitama would be god threat too as well, it's the max level, doesn't means there wouldn't be a huge gap between threats of the same level.
Thanks for the bump dude I think I should watch and this series.
>Boros is not a God threat
You stupid shits, God threat is canonically defined as a threat to all humanity. Boros' final attack would have wiped the surface of the planet clean, which is a threat to all humanity hence he is a God level threat.
No Dragon+ bullshit, just God.
His alternate universe self
One-Half Punch Man
>Why are people so retarded with putting God threat"s requirement so high?
It comes from ONE saying that Boros was "above dragon" but refusing to say he actually say whether he was god level or not.
He was surprised at Boros surviving the punch. The reaction you psoted came after the whole "you broke the armor that hold my immense power!" which sounds like a stupid chuunibyo kid scenario.
>to Boros revealing his armor was actually to limit his power.
>had to be protected by the armor
>implied armor is powerful and strong enough to stand against that power
>one punch and it is broke
so strong that even bigger fish became foodstock
It just shows BLANK white page for me. Disabling JS does nothing. Viewing in old browser to avoid possible html5 hijinks does nothing too.
Sounds about right. Watch out for Bang getting in trouble. If he does,
Garouwill be coming back any moment then.
Saitama is full of shit from start to finish, he tries to act all cool and melancholic about becoming too strong.
All he really cares about it getting payed and fame while looking all humble and down to earth.
The moment he has a chance to act up in front of a girl, he shoves genus aside and tries to showoff to the best of his ability while trying to look bored.
Genus knows Saitama is a full of shit but will go sensei this and sensei that, as long as he can keep the 'i must become stronger' facade going and be on good terms with Saitama.
See, Genus is also full of shit, he realize that when it comes down to it, he can't avenge his parents and needs Saitama to do it FOR him, so he'll keep being his lapdog until that day comes.
>Why is he still bored when someone finally survived his one punch? Is there no pleasing this asshole?
He's been holding back all this time, the villain just survived a 1% power punch
Why some Tumblr retards misunderstands him as Metal Knight?
Boros didn't die with 1 punch. He died with multiple and that's because he depleted all his power in the Rawr Cannon. Otherwise he could probably regenerate from the Serious Series Super Punch.
If any enemy forced Saitama to get even slightly serious that was Garou. Fucking Garou had the potential to be as powerful as Saitama but went insane and messed it up. His semi-limitless form though made Saitama go serious. And God-Garou had some top rate durability as well. He took normal punches with almost no damage, and managed to tank a barrage with only a horn breaking. Eventually he run out of steam.
So now we have 2 God level adversaries that managed next to nothing except tanking a few blows. I believe metal knight will build something equal or difficult for saitama to beat. Since he already understood that Saitama is God Level + threat.
>character with literally infinite powerlevel, that being the whole fucking point
Can't get why he is considered to have a god-level gaming technique?
Indeed, he is good at fighting game but mostly spending time with Imouto in moe game, and not practicing much as actual professional gamer
>All he really cares about it getting payed and fame while looking all humble and down to earth.
I can't tell if you're joking/trolling or just haven't read the series. This is definitively proven to not be true on multiple occasions.
There is a difference in armor made to hold something in and armor made to protect from outside damage. It's the same as why a submarine can't go to space and a spaceship can't go underwater.
He was surprised, the anime extended his "ok" face for a lot longer than in the manga.
With the state of DB nowadays, I don't think it can be considered an upgrade. Both in animation and storytelling
>new characters are shitty reskins, winny the pooh, and One Piece-tier characters
It was still pretty fucking obvious that Boros was no match for Saitama, even if he didn't kill him Boros was blown away by his first punch without being able to react whatsoever. Saitama can't really judge his opponent's level just by looking at them so he just throw a mild punch at them. If they survive, that's one thing, but if they can take it without flinching or avoid it, that's another one.
After the anime was announced, I started reading the manga. Quickly, it was purged from the Internet, so I started reading the web comic. It's actually pretty good. Doesn't seem to be finished, though.
How often does it update?
