Who will sub Ajin this winter?
CGI is a bit of most of the time but the action is good
Netflix and Polygon Pictures have announced today, via an official press release, that the streaming service will be home to an upcoming new anime series, Ajin: Demi-Human.
Based on the popular manga series by Gamon Sakurai, Ajin: Demi-Human centers around a "young high-school student who is hit by a truck and dies only to discover that he is, in fact, demi-human, an 'Ajin.' What he finds are dozens of others who are also Ajins; all of whom are being hunted and trying to survive." That sounds cool.
All 13 episodes of the series will premiere around the world all at once on Netflix, sometime in 2016. However, Netflix members in Japan will have to wait three days after the original linear air date before being able to watch each episode. Now, that's really a first, because it's usually the other way around.
The press release said: "This deal marks a milestone in how Anime is distributed on a global scale giving quicker and more efficient access to great Anime titles to Netflix members and fans around the world at the same time. AJIN: Demi-Human is the latest Anime title from Polygon Pictures to premiere exclusively on Netflix outside of Japanese broadcast with Knights of Sidonia premiering last summer to strong fanfare."

I always wonder why does these "MC turns into a human monster" series always have that extremely bro normal friend
Pretty much, they even look kind of similar.
Ajin's MC isn't really a beta, not alpha either though, just mentally unhinge.
Some chinese bought the movie BD from theater.
The expressions aren't half bad.
My "best girl" detector is acting up.
Join Commie's IRC channel and ask fnord about it. He was on the verge of quitting fansubbing if it wasn't for Owarimonogatari so I don't think he'll TL for Daiz again but who knows.
I guess we still have the guy who TL'd the first episode of Sidonia 2 anyway.
Daiz won't do it:
>I'm (for the most part) taking a break from fansubbing for at least a season or two, so you can expect Underwater not to be active during that time (as groups are really kept alive by their leaders, to put it shortly).
what is this thing in his mouth?
>quicker and more efficient access
How is getting the episodes all at once after the whole thing has already broadcast somehow more efficient than simulcasting like Crunchyroll?
They didn't lose A+ on subete because of translations, the Nyaa TLC moderator couldn't find any major translation problems with either release. They lost A+ because the other release is a barely edited Crunchyroll script. Why the reviewer felt the need to compare each release against Crunchyroll's script instead of each other seems unusual in itself and reeks of politics.

>from the reviewer: "i judged eraser's to be slightly better on the basis that his edits were more conservative and didn't break cr's tl as much"
duplex and Herkz, who wasn't involved in the Nyaa review at all but stuck his nose in anyway because he's tsun for DDY, did initially sprout nonsense about the translations on their twitter safe spaces before the Nyaa review. Whether that was through malice or simple ignorance is up to you to decide.
You have a point about hana, but it's no surprise they don't care about completing it. The staff that ran the hana project and completely botched the first release didn't take responsibility. They then further botched an attempted mutiny within the group, and rage quit before the could be fired. Or so the story goes.
Even if they do finish it, which seems unlikely, I doubt it'll be in any way comparable to the commie or even coalgirl releases. No one will bother downloading any future hana releases of theirs except to scrutinize the heck out of them.
As for maria, having only watched their BD release I didn't notice any errors, and nothing of the sort as been said in the Maria threads I've seen here. You'll have to post examples.
I doubt they care what their fan poll results are. They'll just do whatever the fuck they want to do, like every other fagsub group out there. If what they want to do is coincidentally something heavily voted for then they'll run with that tangent, but any poll on any fagsub site is 100% clickbait bullshit.
I think anon is talking about fnord's more recent works like Twintails and Gakkou where he memed it up every chance he could get.
i really love his hair, but havin that haircut is not going to fix my fucking ugly face
i speak spanish and i know that's a fucking bad idea.
> there are people that unironically think those shits looks decent
That render and framerate is beyond garbage.
hat man is ruined
He looks more handsome despite the 3DCG.
Who cares, the source material is shit anyways and everyone will forget the anime after the first EP
people know abour Ajin for its operating arc
this is one of the thing Polygon won't deliver
Yeah three movies and a single cour in January
i would watch it if they got the Action scene right
>flashy mecha action
they are not the same
Back to reddit with you
Remember those official subs by other streaming sites like CR and Funi we got for Sidonia and NnT immediately after an episode aired despite both being Netflix titles?
