What's the funniest animu you've ever seen /a/?
School rumble season 1 (2nd season turn into romance more than comedy and it sucked)
Great teacher onizuka
Seto no Hanayome
Detroit metal city
I think my fav in that list is detroit, it's really funny.
SYD or Dumpire
A lot of 'comedy' anime isn't funny at all, or will make me laugh once over the course of a season. Those two actually make me, audibly, laugh. Some people can yell spoonfeeding if they want, but the lack of actual humor in anime merits discussion, I think.
Yamada's First Time made me laugh alot but the one I would say is top that made me laugh alot was sabagebu. Shit is great.
I think you just need to get used to the style. I remember rewatching old anime I found really funny after not watching anime for years and I thought it was boring. Detroit metal city is fucking cash though.
Also can you spell out the entire names for SYD and Dumpire? I can't find anything.
DESU who cares, I think recommandation threads are nice to discover new anime. Way better than thousands of endless onepunchman and fate/staynight and harem anime threads. Comedy anime is rarely discussed here.
No you're not. OP asked for the funniest anime. That isn't even disguised as anything but a rec thread.
Fuck off and never come back. Replacing cancer with more cancer doesn't solve any problems.
Please take anime more seriously, I don't think you are dedicated to preserving it's pristine honor enough
A candy crubstomping the main villain of the arc.
What? Got a problem with Toy Story?
the dub, obviously
Why don't mods care about /a/ anymore?
Believe or not, anon, I am not a mod. If I was, you'd be banned. This is self-moderating.
>16. All request threads belong on /r/ unless otherwise noted.
Why are there no good images or webms of this scene?
NHK on a whole is pretty funny.
>Believe or not, anon, I am not a mod. If I was, you'd be banned. This is self-moderating.
the prefix "self" implies preforming the action on oneself (ie self-reflection, self-doubt, self-determination, self-conscious)
Self-moderation would be moderation of oneself
You're performing actual moderation. The fact that you're not a mod simply means that you lack the authority or power to enforce your claims.
I didn't find Teekyuu as funny as it was hyped to be for me. It's all random humor in a very compressed format. Instead of throwing a noodle of carefully cooked spaghetti at the wall, let's just throw the entire hastily cooked pot at once and see what sticks.
Anon, you don't seem to understand. Self-moderation is /a/'s defining characteristic, not mine. Reading comprehension can be difficult, but you should be able to handle this much.
I don't care if it's a rec thread, I post this in any comedy thread because it doesn't get the attention it rightfully deserves.
Nichijou or Nichibros.
Can't decide between them two but they both tickle my immature sense of humor.
Psychic Wars and Mars of Destruction are both top tier comedies.
NHK is depressing for me and I couldnt watch more than 1 episode per day. Shit was too hard for me
No one cares, self moderate yourself the fuck out of here nerd
I'm starting to think you legitimately have brain damage. /a/, as a group, moderates itself. For the most part, there is no outside party that comes in and moderates /a/. Thus, self-moderating.
Maybe you don't understand because you're obviously from another board. You view it as "/a/ is attacking me" instead of "/a/ is moderating /a/"
I'm new to /a/ and I'm genuinely trying to understanding. Thank you for baring with me.
so /a/ doesn't have any moderators with actual authority or power? It's just a vigilante system where people tell you that you're breaking the rules, but are powerless to do anything about it?
That doesn't sound like a very effective system.
Of course /a/ has actual moderators as well. It's just that, as this thread's existence can attest to, they don't do anything most of the time.
To /a/, ignoring something is allowing it.
I don't fucking care, turbonerd. Recommendations go here >>>/r/
Are we looking at different threads? There were twelve posts before my initial one, and only one of them could arguably be considered a discussion. It's literally just people recommending anime to each other.
If you want a thread to discuss comedy anime, don't make one where the OP is "Spoonfeed me comedy shows."
I mostly just go with what seems correct. I've been here for eight years now, so most of the time I have a somewhat accurate feel for the board.
As the whole Nipplemod situation showed, however, board culture/history overrules formalized rules.
If you haven't seen this then you haven't seen the funniest anime ever.
Is that a Neo Armstrong Cyclone Jet Armstrong Cannon?
Sort of, yeah. The system is obviously not without its flaws, but I honestly believe it's the main reason that the overall quality of /a/ hasn't dropped as much as some other boards.
Hajime no Ippo
Rune Soldier Louie
Great Teacher Onizuka.
That angel anime that was pretty much the 'fuck you' gif years ago that I can't remember right now.
Overlord was pretty good.
One Punch Man has it's moments.
SZS was amazing but went on a bit too long.
DB Super is great when it's not action orientated. Constantly matches the driving shit from DBZ. DB in general has its gags.
Dragon Half at times but it was literally 3 episodes and missed out the best parts. Truly a gem that needs a quality anime made from it but won't because it's obscure as shit now.
There's a few more but Gintama is the top. It's why the thing won't fucking die despite it being 95% shonen reference jokes and 5% best serious arcs.
>Is 4chan being raided again
Nah. This guy occasionally finds shitty threads and dumps loli in an attempt to get the thread deleted. Usually it works. Evidently not this time, though.
So you think one of the mods will swoop over and give you mod status? You sound like that one snitch back in middle school.
He wants to see if it is true that there is still a God (mod) in this place. It's actually a very sad story.
