I don't think he's a very good writer. I can't stand his reliance on 『KEY PHRASES』, I don't think his plots are very compelling, his characters suffer from inconsistency, not to mention his continuity issues. And his tendency to ominscent-narrator-info-dump.

But he's good at coming up with weird shit you won't see anywhere else, raising tension, and the art is unique as well.

Buccellati's spirit was leaving his body as Giorno tried to heal him. His spirit was able to stay in the copse and control it for as long as the body was intact. For some reson some of the body works (Like talking, seeing, hearing) but other's don't like the nervous & circulatory systems. But just go with it. The body is a corpse but he can still talk, see and hear cause fuck you, it's Araki, that's why.

So over the following 4 days the body slowly rotted and was falling apart from every wound he received. During the fight with Secco he burst his eardrums and lost his sight. At this point he was basically a soul trapped in a dead shell being carried around by Doppio.

Then their soul's got swapped, requiem died, and Buccellati chose to free his soul rather than go back to rotting corpse. It was his time to pass on anyway and he did all he could.

Apparently I never gave this much thought. No clue, but I'll try and guess. DIO having a stand forced all the Joestars to have stands too, but they can be acquired through other means like by birth or the arrow. The biggest requirement is just that you have a strong will. Getting rid of DIO would stop the stand from forcing itself upon Holly but for those like Jotaro who could clearly handle a stand, it would remain.

That, or it's as simple as Jotaro already having a stand. When he got turned into a little kid by Alessi he still had a stand which would suggest he always had one, right? It just happened to manifest after Enya stuck it in DIO.
