They haven't gone to the other dimensions yet. Though Yuri did return episode 85 so the end of this arc is inevitable. Feel free to skip episodes 65-73 if you want since nothing truly important happens in them. Episode 74 is where ARC-V started getting good again, with episode 85 confirming this.

Episode 74-75 had the best duel in the Synchro Dimension arc. Even thought the first Sora vs Shun duel, among other good duels from the first 51 episodes, STILL makes every duel in Synchro Dimension look shit in terms of relevance and quality.

As for the surgery, Jean wanted to put a mind control chip inside Yuya's head by performing an operation on him. No magical BS to mind control Yuya, just technology.

Aside from beat two fodders off-screen, Michio did nothing in the battle royale aside from his friendship with Teppei.
