Read the manga anon. The movies miss on alot of build up, characterization and great moments. If you thought the ending to movie 3 made you angry wait until you read the source material.

Also, action scenes dont look as good in movies. Guts is supposed to be lightning fast but he doesnt look that much faster than anyone else in animation.
