How does /a/ organize their pictures folders?

By series. Certain series have folder(s) for each character, if necessary. It's important not to waste time sorting shit you're never going to use again, but the hours spent sorting my Nanoha folder, for example, were well-spent.

Shit is all over the place.

I have a folder named "weeb pictures", with two folders labeled "airing series" (obvious) and "other".

In that other folder, I have
3x3: I usually set aside pictures I use for 3x3s for easy access when I make a new one or edit one
Cute: folders for individual girls, sometimes entire series
Random: for anything that doesn't fit in any folder
Reaction: organized by emotion
Screencaps: stuff I plan to crop/make transparent for reaction images

Very autistically. Anything with a lot of pictures gets a folder to differentiate between characters. Original pictures by artists use lowercase letters.

Too many intersecting folders I need and I know I'll misplace something when I need it.

In my 4chan folder, I have anime images in my reaction images folder and my other folder (cute anime gifs and the like). In my anime porn folder I have it divided like this:
>unsorted (contains doujin/CG/other sad panda images as well as a bunch of folders for pages from individual manga)
>unsorted 2 (contains images that I plan to move to unsorted but didn't save directly there because the folder takes too long to load, also contains more individual manga folders)
>booru (contains any single image which I saved from a booru, pixiv, 4chan, etc.)
>cosplay (contains cosplay and cute Asian girls)
>nf (contains /c/ images that I don't fap to)
That is about all

I just have a reaction-image folder filled with mostly anime girls.

That's nothing. My two main folders have 15000 and 7000 images each

Mostly by series. And about 4 folders of unsorted chaos that I sort by chipping away at whenever I'm really bored.

I don't, I just get all of my anime reaction pictures from tumblr XD

With a lot of numbers. If not, I name them by what characters if features. I make separate folders for shows which have accumulated a lot of images, if I can be assed. I'm still a bit of a newfag-having only been on 4chan since this past summer-so I don't have too many yet.
