Wild Wild Pussycats are here! We wait for Scans.
Why does this say 69?
The Last chapter was the 69th isn't it?
I kinda hope he becomes closer friends with Deku because he helped Tenya calm that massive revenge boner. He has the potential to be a total bro, which I think would be a benefit considering the only person in the class who has known Deku longer than anyone is also the guy who hates the shit out of him.
That being said, I'd love to see more arcs that delve deeper into some of these characters, as well as some more spotlight for the Class A guys we don't often see like Shōji, Satou, and Kouda. Something tells me that Horikoshi doesn't quite care for them as much.
Someone raised this point in the last thread.
Is All-Might the Number 1 hero in the world, or just in Japan? Because we've so far seen absolutely nothing outside of Japan, not a single foreigner even
Something that probably wasn't thought about in the original draft. Or kept it out on purpose to be able to later on raise the power ceiling by being like "Look at how strong these exchange students/foreign heroes are!"
>All Might is actually an American immigrant
>Becomes best hero in Japan
>Turns out he's a huge pussy compared to all of the American superheroes
>Just wanted to be a famous hero
>the rest of the world is just living normal day to day life without heroes and villains.
80% of the population has superpowers. They must definetly have heroes and villains.
The Middle East is probably the biggest warzone the world has ever seen, if it isn't already a smoking crater.
>Alright class, this year we'll be participating at the quadrennial "International Young Hero Championship", which is being held in Tokyo this time. I heard the USA team is especially good this year, so do your best!
Once they've dealt with the Villain Alliance, the law of Shonen Villain Threat Escalation states that they'll next have to face villains that threaten the entire world.
At that point I expect foreign heroes to actually show up.
That's another thing they haven't really expanded upon. For some reason the police don't use their quirks, but any nation worth its salt would take advantage of the best quirks for military purposes.
I guess that since Japan isn't that militaristic it isn't as important as in other nations.
It's probably not something people think of. Just focus on Japan, since that's where the readers live. They probably don't wanna know about America having tech that is like 10x better than them. Or other countries having a military, since as you said, they're not a militaristic nation.
Or maybe they do. I have nothing to base this on.
>be neet teen
>have a quirk that makes two sexy catgirls follow you around and annoy with their crazy, sexy antics
i don't if that would be one of the best or one of worst quirks out there
>Just focus on Japan, since that's where the readers live
I can understand focusing on Japan, but they should at least pay lip-service to the fact that other countries exist and the existince of superpowers should affect them too.
Even Hollywood movies will spare 5 minutes to show other countries getting attacked by aliens or whatever while the American heroes save the day.
All they have to do is ocasionally just off-handedly mention other countries.
It's funny looking at all the character notes in the volume extras, and a lot of female characters have the writer saying they "were originally gonna be a boy, but I decided it would be more interesting if she was a girl because there weren't enough girls". Very few manga authors think like that
Reminder that black people exist in Horikoshi's world.
Did you read "Stealth Symphony"? If you think, SS is a bit like MHA (whithout the invisible dragon, of course).
tumblr's got u senpai
sad it wasn't one the better artists but yeah someone had that thought already
yeah, that's the point. of course someone on tumblr would genderswap her
Oh good, I'm reading tumblr now
hang on, throwing up in my mouth a bit oh sweet jesus
>Cut Ochako's hair
>Give Tsuyu Jolyene hair
>Gave Bakugou gay ass highlights and piercings
>Give EVERYONE blushed faces
Why? I keep thinking to make a Tumblr to put all my art in but this shit keeps me from doing so.
That's just wrong, in every level
I don't think they ever specified if it was just Japan or the whole world.
I'm gonna go with Japan. Foreign exchange arc when.
Prom arc when.
There's a chance he's a haafu, but yeah, he's probably just a westaboo.
Yeah but I feel like in general the fujo posters really only stick to like 3 characters and I get the feeling frogboy wouldn't be nearly as popular. I mean I like the female and the male versions the same as the design itself is good and their specific gender really doesn't change anything much. I just don't really care for Tsuyu anymore since I've had to sit through all the frogposting.
Man I really dislike the general art style the tumblr uses.
Who would make this?
Who would post it?
Anon do you need a hug?
Everytime I see this it pisses me off that someone out there thought this was a good idea.
>Sanic and Icyhot Re-edged
>Hating each other.
If anything, you'd think they'd be bros since they both know what it's like to have the pressures of a hero lineage on them. Also having a family permastuck in the hospital.
>went to Tumblr to find bad art
>Found Bakugou as a magical girl
I don't even understand.
I'm not hating on it really it's just...
I think I figured out why I hate the majority of Tumblr's art when it comes to drawing anime/manga characters. It's almost as if they're trying to make them as Western as they possibly can. If I wasn't given context or read MHA I would assume these are just someone's OC's for some shitty American highschool drama webcomic. I wouldn't have guessed that any of these characters were Japanese with the exception of Iida because they drew him like a stereotypical business man.
Seriously there's a lot of guys in women's clothing
This one makes me feel dirty
It's like he doesn't know what shitposting is.
This one I'm just posting cause it's cute.
Shit. I guess I just assumed that's what rock monsters wore. Always thought he was a girl based on mannerisms.
Or...do rocks have a sex post turning 4?
I was thinking the same thing too, but people call him a guy. Ah well. He's moe.
I'm pretty sure he mom called him her son in the flashback.
I'd be impressed if Horikoshi was rusing us.
Because he's pretty.
s-source? Also you'd think it'd be ochako working as a whore you know course she does it for money.
Also does anyone remember that one shit poster who would always post that spiderman meme and say that Ochako does it all for money?
>Where'd you see that?
Nice try, landwhale.
>Bakugou with Johnny Test hair
Dont post that shit here faggot
I came for a good time not this
Because faggots and fujoshits enjoy imagining obviously straight heterosexual males that happen to be handsome and interested in women, and turning them into cock-hungry girly boys.
They can't accept that not everyone wants to be fucked up the ass so to them, everyone is actually gay on the inside and just needs to be fucked until they realize it.
Sexual deviants gonna sexually deviate.
I honestly can't wait for a good Ochako doujin
That octopus shit doesn't count and neither does that ungodly one with the fucked up proportions.
I just want to see best girl getting tenderly fucked into a drooling mess by Deku. Is that so wrong?
Actually, I'd kill for Perestroika to do one. If not Ochako then something with the Class-B girls.
Or even a SFW one by Dowman. I just want good content.
Of course it's both faggy, there's considerably more material about a heterosexual person being turned or admitting to being gay then there are of the reverse.
However there is even more material of men being turned into cock-craving fuck boy's than there are of girls being turned into box eating dyke's.
>Vanilla doujin about Deku and Ochako drawn in Perestoika's artstyle
My fucking dick. I doubt he'd ever do vailla probably a general ntr or orgy doujin about the Class-C and B girls.
I'd pay actual money for reverse NTR involving Deku getting taken to town by Kendou with Ochako watching. Or even Himiko getting in some villainous rape on him with the whole class watching ala Sperma 4.
Flustered Ochako was great, I'm glad we're seeing some double-sided tension going on between her and Deku. They should start dating just so it can be different from the typical "admire from afar but do nothing" shounen love interest bullshit.
>I'm glad we're seeing some double-sided tension going on between her and Deku
>She's literally thrown in a fridge.
>Said fridge is a guy with a quirk whose body is a fridge.
>It looks like it's shaping up to be a rescue arc.
>She gravities + CQCs her way out.
/a/, the shit in this thread is why you shoud be worried about Japan making anime for a global audience. Once they start doing that, they'll have to take these fuckers into account.
You gotta wonder? It'd be kinda funny but mega-swole Midoriya would kinda look retarded IMO.
I'm imagining he'll get some SSJ-type mode where he looks like himself only with the All Might art-style.
>No one will ever draw fanart like this.
You know, I was writing a fanfic like this awhile back until I got lazy.
Except instead of Uraraka it was Kacchan. And instead of fucking it was jacking off. Kacchan has a bad case of leatherdick from all that napalm sweat, and OFA can get through it.
>Tenya losing his nice mass
>Ochako is basically Squirrel Girl
>Froppy smiling, not hunched
>Bakugo and IcyHot somehow managed to come off even gayer
>DEKU MAN JAW AND SAMEFACES EVERYWHERE
Goddamnit, ruined my day again Tumblr.
Consider yourself lucky, frog fucker>>134305900
One minute in paint.
Deku's blushing because Urarak's touching him.
Alright, a little theory on what I think about Shigaraki and his past. I've been thinking that maybe he was abused as a child by his father for never going outside and socializing. We have seen that he speaks in video game logic a lot, talking about "continues" and "cheats". I think at one point he just lashed out and went against his father, and it disintegrated him. Yet somewhere in that twisted mind, he feels bad about it. We see him apologize to the hand after being knocked off of his face (side note: the foreshadowing of 5 fingers disintegrating but 4 not can be seen on this page when he picks up the hand).
I also believe this coincides with Shigaraki's childish demeanor. He got "frozen in time" more or less as a, let's assume 8, year old kid when he killed his dad. Giving up immediately when things don't go his way. I also believe that the father killed the mother earlier in some domestic case, but got off free because no heroes even cared to go for him.
We also see that All for One is breeding Shigaraki to be his successor. I believe All for One found Shigaraki at that young age and his kept him under his wing ever since. Acting like a father wanting Shigaraki to pull up his big boy pants and figure things out for himself.
So for all of this, I think I have a good idea of why Shigaraki wants to take out All Might. It's because as a little kid, Shigaraki was abused by his father. He only found comfort in video games, and calling out to heroes (represented by All Might) didn't give him any safety. They only save the ones out in the public, but they won't take care of the boy in his home being tormented every day. Yet the shmucks laugh it up, not giving a shit about anybody else's problems. Not caring who they kill, like Tomura's mother. One day, Tomura had it and killed his father. And since then, he's been working under All for One killing the shit he doesn't like. Most specifically, the people who laugh it up without giving a shit about others.
I don't like that kind of edgy backstory. I like this one more:
>Age 4 Shigaraki sees his father trapped under rubble, his blood pooling
>Tries to pull him out
>His Quirk awakens, and papa turns to dust before his eyes
Seeing Deku sacrifice the power that made him a successful hero and broke away from being a total beta would be pretty interesting to see.
It ought to be painful when All Might finally kicks the bucket.
Not sure, and but considering how Horikoshi appears to be going at a breakneck pace its difficult to say how soon until we see a face off and what'll happen after. Its hard to even get an estimate at how long BnHA will run. Been a while since I tracked a WSJ series, but random guess states somewhere between 200-350 range to finish, depending on whether or not it'll be milked dry (and considering its Hori's only major success, it just might). Anything longer then 350 might as well become Bleach/Naruto/One Piece tier. Then again, Kingdom is in Weekly Young Junp, and just passed its 450th chapter, and its still fucking awesome (though I am like 75 chapters behind). Who knows how long the quality will keep up. For now it doesn't appear to be dipping at least.
I kind of want to see it go on forever, I want more. So much more.
He's wearing Biscuit's dress because they do the same thing
The amusing thing is that that the logo on top and the red line on the bottom, as well as the circles with 2 other characters is based on an actual Marvel comic called A+X (an Avengers and X-Men team-up book)
>All the big names are already out
>Waiting til Friday for scans
I gotta say, I don't really like how everyone's motivation is to be the Number 1 Hero. Heroes shouldn't care about being better than other heroes, they should care about saving and helping as many people as they can. If other heroes are better than you that means more people will be saved. There's no reason to be the Number 1 hero other than pure ego, heroes shouldn't care what other people think about them.
Stain kind of had a point.
In western comics, Superheroes don't care about being more popular or being better than other heroes. They don't even care if they're despised. All they care about is making a difference.
>Villain Alliance attacks Yuuei
>All heroes are defeated
>Deku watches Uraraka getting gang raped by a group of Nuomus
That's what happens when 80% of the world has super powers instead of .01% of the world. You're going to have people with as much motivation to be heroes are there are people in the world. Not everyone is out to save others.
Yeah, but Deku is clearly shown to be a tue hero willing to sacrifice himself to save others. His motivation should be to become the best hero he can to save more people, not to get the completely meaningless title of Numbr 1 Hero whose better and more popular than other heroes.
it really boils down on why they want to be nº one, if it's like bakugo or endavor to shove their dicks into everyone else's egos, or like all might and deku because they want to save as much people as they can and stop as many villains as they are able.
Deku has never expressed a desire to be the number one hero, it took all might pushing him for him to even want to try in the tournament.
But he has expressed a desire to beat his classmates and put himself on the top so he can make an impact as a hero like All Might.
And there's nothing wrong with he competition, it's natural and necessary in a world like this.
Heroes in western comics don't care about being the Number 1 hero. Hell, the X-Men's motto is to "protect a world that hates and fears them."There's a few exceptions like Booster Gold, but they're the minority and usually disliked by the rest of the hero community.
>In western comics, Superheroes don't care about being more popular or being better than other heroes.
Like hell they don't. A good amount of hero vs hero conflicts in western comics happen precisely because they start a dick measuring contest, even if they use some meaningless excuse that wouldn't have caused a conflict in the first place if it wasn't for that. Hell, half of Batman vs Superman's conflicts start because they start discussing who has the best method and who does the world need more.
You're confusing dick measuring contests with trust issues, ideological differences and personal problems. Even if heroes don't like each other at the end of the day they put aside their differences to save people and don't care about who gets the credit.
Booster Gold, Marvel's Hercules (sort of), X-Statix (surprisingly still dead), the New Warriors back when they had a reality TV show (also surprisingly still dead), the Great Lakes Avengers (miserable failures in that regard) and Wonder Man back when he was an actor
Captain Marvel. Which is appropiate since he's also really young.
This is a really difficult list to do though, since there's very few, if any superheroes that outright say "I wanna be the very best", but there's however a fuckton that have gigantic egos and get butthurt when there's someone better than them. Doubly so if they're better at the same field they specialize in.
>mfw I fuckd ur mom
Last time I saw it discussed it was open ended.
She could probably create the harmful substanc within some sort of vessel, and pull it out then open it or whatever.
I doubt it would harm her while leaving her body since she was shown to have pulled bladed weapons out in the tournament (unless I miserember).
Apparently another Hori's assistant got serialization. It is called "ギャルソン" (garcon?)
Good for him, I wish him luck
We know in BnHA's universe all quirks are registered and children receive quirk based counselling in school.
Unless you go underground like Shigaraki the government would know what your quirk can do and establish an understanding with you as to not destablise the economy.
And with people like No. 13, Nuclear waste and pollution is no longer a problem
We don't use the gold standard anymore, making gold worthless wouldn't be that big a deal after decades of quirks existing
the only way I cope with have every seeing this shit is believing they're actually drawing themselves and their friends in really bad but accurate to truth cosplays. it's literally the only way i can justify human beings drawing this trash
But whit Momo's quirk you can make money (or she can sell any type of obect).
And, even if they make a digital coin, someone have a technologic quirk that will make money in the same way.
Was it ever clarified if her created things stay forever? She is creating tons of things thoughout the series, even a huge artillery gun in the sports festival to destroy the gian robots. All that stuff must end up somewhere if it doesn't dissolve after a certain time period.
I think it does, I'm too lazy to find the panel but I believe it said she had to have some level of understanding of the object's mechanism.
>I don't think she knows how a flash granade works
I could see her studying things like that.
if I had her quirk I would probably a deku-level geek on engineering and learning how EVERYTHING works so I could make it on my own.
Mia or someone alike would be my best friend hero parthner/.
I guess it's vague.
Even if Todoroki had the idea in the moment, I wouldn't put it past Momo to have studied grenades and other common things before. She obviously know how to make a cannon and is studious etc. Maybe she just isn't best at in the moment thinking.
Wait, what? Are implying Todoroki came up witht he flash bang idea? If you are, you seriously need to go back and read those chapters again. Todoroki may have suggested Momom constantly making small objects to keep check on Aizawa's whereabouts, but the idea to put flash bangs inside was all her.
She has to understand the atomic makeup of the SUBSTANCE she creates- she can seemingly create any shape she can visualize.
Like, she made those metal ribbons to catch Aizawa- she can make a ribbon-shaped thing, but she's stuck with whatever materials she knows the makeup of and she doesn't know what Aizawa's ribbon thing is actually made of so HER version is made up of that shape memory alloy and whatever else she knew.
She should totally become a gun user. Figure out how to create filled magazines and you're infinite ammo girl.
Or something like the Iron Blood Alchemist from FMA.
Just reread here. This page make me think Todoroki was suggested.
Horikoshi clarified that later with pic-related.
>not doing the right thing and ending after they beat all for one, MC becomes #1 hero and all might becomes the wheelchair teacher who teaches about ethics and what it means to be a true hero
It will all be linked to the origin of quirks and maybe aliens.
Maybe Horikoshi will end "My Hero Academia" and start another series "My Hero World" with the cast after they have graduated from UA and they are pros.
I interpreted that moment as them searching for Aizawa after her power stopped working. I further support this counter argument by the fact Todoroki tells her immediately to run after Aizawa captures him. If he suggest for her to put flash bangs in the dolls, why didn't her to use them right at that moment to counteract Eraserhead's quirk. Additionally, when would she have made more dolls during that moment? Her quirk had already been disactivated by Aizawa's quirk, and she definitely didn't make any more after that panel. This would imply he told her well before this moment she put flash bangs into the dolls, which he didn't. He just told her to keep popping out small objects. So, no, the flash bangs were not Todoroki's idea. Momo merely took his original idea and adding on a supplementary idea to it.
Pretty sure they were attacked right after so no more dolls were created. Therefore the dolls she created before that moment already had to have that function. This was her idea.
>all quirks are registered
I wonder: How many kids are off the grid? How many parents are crazed over "muh freedom", and refuse to register their quirk (thinking it would be like a comprehensive fingerprint database)?
Think it'll be a problem in MHA's America?
I shudder to use the phrase "headcanon" but the way I think it works is that objects she makes are permanent, but the other downside to her quirk is that creating objects uses some small fraction of her biomass/minerals/calories/whatever which is why she keeps a bit more meat on her bones than the other girls.
MHA's world kinda sounds like a borderline police-state in some aspects. Remember that they can apparently engage Ghost In the Shell style media blackouts- suppressing Stain's videos, hiding yandere girl's name, hiding the most detail info about the USJ attack from the media, etc.
>they're living in a police state and the readers haven't even noticed
This is just like One Piece. Totalitarian fuckers running everything and it takes years for the readers to catch on.
>hiding yandere girl's name
Isn't that standard for Japan?
>Think it'll be a problem in MHA's America?
MHA's America probably has looser regulations on powers while simultaneously having more databases on powers and a much more powerful police force. They wouldn't be like Japan, most superheroes would be government agents and all cops would use their quirks
>suppressing Stain's videos
They issued Youtube take-down requests and millions of people saw it anyway. It's no worse than real life.
But yes, the government has everyone registered and you need a license to use your own powers. It's pretty restrictive, but I suppose when you have people like Shinsou wandering around you have to be careful.
Horikoshi glossed over that in a previous chapter, I don't think he wanted civil liberty to be central to his story, and it doesn't look like he plan to at this stage.
I think it was chapter 60: The appearance of quirks was a massive shock wave that brought social progress to a halt, unrest prevailed while the governing bodies struggled to adapt. It apparently took generations before things stabilised to what it is now, and Deku quoted "if it weren't for the quirk phenomenon, mankind would've advanced to the stage of interplanetary travels"
Not as much anymore I think; the Japanese public actually kinda comes out and demands names now for particularly heinous crimes- like the dude that killed a grade-school boy I think this year, the infamous kids that tortured and buried the girl in the drum, etc.
From a pixiv gallery I don't remember.
That looks like fanart from Silver- one of the pixiv fujos who happens to be a big MHA fan. She's cool though and has a good sense of humor. She's also not an exclusive gay-shipper so she's something of a unicorn among fujos.
Basically in her world, everyone wants Deku's ass. A true advocate for equality.
Volume 6 Omake FA Edition
Quite frankly, they need to change the name "Villain Alliance" if they want to attract more people.
It's like the Brotherhodd of Evil Mutants or the Injustice League, you shouldn't have a name that brags about how bad you are if you want people to sympathize with your cause.
As expected of country grown vegetables
I gotta say, the editor was right. Unless the kid trains for years and years like Batman or just pulls an Iron Man there's no way he could ever do anything without powers without it looking stupid
who wouldnt ?
Holy fuck, that's absolute shit.
Except they actively WANT to attract criminals and people who consider themselves "Villains".
They aren't some noble rebel group whose cause is supposed to be Just and Good-hearted.
I think if TodoMomo happens that their child will be Quirkless. 2 overpowered Quirks in one body, resulting in no Quirk and a bitchslap in Endeavor's face who dreamed of a strong grandchild.
Or they will get triplets and everyone will have one part of the 2 Quirks, 1 has fire, 1 ice and 1 creation.
