Lets talk about it. Motherfuckers act like he cant turn SSJ2 or Mystic. Motherfuckers act like he cant turn into Ultimate Gohan. Motherfuckers act like he didnt recieve training from the supreme gods themselves, Z-sword arc , ext.
Now hes getting killed by some ginyu scrub? Why do they hate Gohan so much? Hes stronger than fat buu WTF is this shit?
Dont make me have to drop you because of baka writers #teamgohan
Getting ready for more incoming autism.
Gohanfag here. I'm fine with how episode 21 played out. They needed Tagoma to look stronger, and Gohan was the only one who could do that and still look strong himself. Gohan still hasn't gone super saiyan in this fight, and Tagoma's hit was a cheap shot, so he hasn't been completely buried yet.
What you should complain about is the part where everyone did signature moves, and Gohan just used random ki blasts.
Gohan can't turn SSJ2 or Mystic because he has no more fire inside. He is soft hearted. He is only able to power up by getting fucking pissed. This is the ONLY way Gohan has ever been relevant. Everytime Gohan has fought someone and mattered even a tiny bit, it was when he was pissed.
Move the fuck on Gohanfucks.
>some ginyu scrub
Jesus Christ, either stop watching or stop bitching. Krillin has an arc and Gohan is the new jobber. Move the fuck on with your life. He got taken down in a badass way.
I fell for the b8. Nobody can be this autistic. Well... actually... Gohanfags can.
It's like a never ending pile of shit from these Gohan kucks.
Its like , power levels dont mean anything. The fuck.
When does Android 18 fight, where is Android 17 at? Wheres future trunks at? We could get into some parrelle universes spiderman marvel style
Where the fuck is FAT BUU
When is Naotoshi Shida going to animate something in Super?
I'm pretty sure "base" Gohan here is supposed to be Ultimate Gohan, otherwise they wouldn't keep saying that he's the strongest one in the group.
Next week with Gotenks fighting should clear any doubts though. If SSJ Gotenks also fails to beat Tagoma (and the episode titles indicate that he will) then maybe people finally will accept that this is Ultimate Gohan.
POWER LEVELS DON'T MEAN ANYTHING. Jesus fucking Christ Toriyama has stated it. Power levels are gone. Non-existant. Move the fuck on.
Fat Buu is sleeping so we don't need to see his stupid ass in this fight and hopefully he gets killed off.
Android 18 might fight coming up soon, I'm sure she will be relevant. I mean, she has been getting a lot of scenes with Krillin as he goes through his character arc. Those two have more screen time then Gohan and Videl so one can hope.
Android 17 is ranging the fuck out of some park. Future Trunks is in the fucking future you autistic meat bag.
You are retarded. Jesus Christ. He got that strong in 4 months of training with Frieza. Move the fuck on. Tagoma is that strong. Who really gives a shit? He is a credible threat. Holy shit. Enjoy the fucking fights.
I really like the first panel on this page. At this point in the story Goku having a shocked expression like this really means something.
>Motherfuckers act like he didnt recieve training from the supreme gods themselves
But Whis and Vados never trained him and the Supreme Kais are scrubs who never put in a day's training in their lives.
>￦hat you should complain about is the part where everyone did signature moves, and Gohan just used random ki blasts.
That was extremely dissapointing. Not even a Masenko , Killquick , or a kamehameha? Weak.
I better see a Super Dragon Fist out of somebody
After "transforming" into Ultimate, Gohan was always drawn with that appearance in the original manga - even after being resurrected and in the epilogue chapter. Also, although he's drawn differently, the dialogue actually says that his appearance hasn't changed at all.
Didn't they make a point that Buu only needs a couple seconds of sleep?
Guess he forgot about that too.
i love having gotenks back, just pointing the fact that is fucking retarded.
this is dragonball after all.
>Gohan doesn't have signature moves
Piccolo taught him one.
AT's revised origin for Kid Buu involves it going in cycles of hibernation and destruction. It's not confirmed that Fat Buu goes into the same hibernation cycle, since it's not exactly the same being, but that might be the case and the characters just didn't realize it yet. I guess we'll see with the Universe 6 stuff. He might still be sleeping there and so unable to join them.
In the manga, he only did it once though. Afterwards, he was always drawn in mystic form. In fact, people started saying that he lost the mystic form because his RoF redesign doesn't have the ultimate "full line" eyes.
>Gohan can't turn SSJ2 or Mystic because he has no more fire inside
To be honest Super is coping GT, no level of Super Saiyan besides SSJ.
Even Toriyama said SSJ2 and SSJ3 were fake levels of the Super Saiyan.
I'm not making these retarded ass Gohan threads. I think Gohanfags need to an hero themselves already so they don't have to deal with the dissapointment of the character they self inserted as being a total Yamcha.
I personally think it's hysterical. You can tell who I am, I'm the one spamming the A18 reactions.
>To be honest Super is coping GT, no level of Super Saiyan besides SSJ.
GT still had SSJ3 and obviously 4. It only ignored SSJ2 (although the animators drew Goku, Goten and Trunks powering up with sparks and slightly different hair style at times) and Ultimate.
>I'm not making these retarded ass Gohan threads
>I'm the one spamming the A18 reactions
You are a case.
Never stop posting. But I am not the one creating the threads homie. I'm just calling out the stupidity of people complaining about Gohan ALL THE FUCKING TIME.
>Then what's the fucking point in making them?
They were like those levels that Vegeta and Trunks got in the RoSaT. For a time they thought they were the true evolution of SSJ, but afterwards they learn how to make base SSJ stronger than them, since they waste too much energy.
Whis has stated that visible auras are actually energy waste, so those big sparking auras by SSJ2 and SSJ3 would show that they're wasting a lot of power.
Gohan's attack are Masenko and the Kamehameha. Gohan used the Masenko in the last episode. In movie RoF he used a bigger manseko and Piccolo used the attack Gohan used in Super's RoF.
>Even Toriyama said SSJ2 and SSJ3 were fake levels of the Super Saiyan.
He never said that faggot, he said that they waste more Ki than base and SSJ and so the latter two are more reliable.
>arguing over power levels
>calling people faggots
>is the biggest faggot here.
>and Gohan just used random ki blasts
Masenko or Hellzone granade.
>and so the latter two are more reliable.
Not only more reliable, he also said that focusing on base and SSJ they'd become even stronger and so they wouldn't use SSJ2 and 3 anymore. Yes, he didn't call fake levels directly, but if they're somehow surpassed by base SSJ, it shows that they weren't really "the next step".
Because who ever specifically wanted to kill 18? Who has she pissed off? What enemy has she made? But she has also had development, she shows a lot more emotion in Super then in Z. I'm a huge fan of that.
Also, Krillin has also been a primary character.
Also, everything else is irrelevant because Toriyama likes Krillin the most. More then fucking Gohan.
>Adding nothing to the discussion but complaining
>Calling someone else a faggot
>Even Toriyama said SSJ2 and SSJ3 were fake levels of the Super Saiyan.
>Yes, he didn't call fake levels directly
While they follow the same general story, there's a lot of differences. Tagoma, for example, dies pretty early in RoF, and in Super, he's our next notable henchmen because he took out Gohan while his guard was down.
>implying bitching about MUH POWAH LEVULS is worthy of discussion
>But I am not the one creating the threads homie
And did you remember what post I replied to to have your answer of "never stop posting"?
You aren't fooling anyone, faggot. I can point all of your posts in this thread.
Stop samefagging, get a life or end it. What comes first.
> I'm just calling out the stupidity of people complaining about Gohan
Look who's talking, the samefag.
For Battle of Gods, Super moved Bulma's birthday to a ship, basically removed all scenes related to Pillaf, making their presence really random. They also tried to make all scenes dragged out. They removed a subplot about Goku disliking to earn a power that he couldn't obtain by himself, and finally we got the whole "the universe might be destroyed" stuff.
For RoF, initially everything seemed completely identical to the movie, but now that the battle started things seem to be very different, just with the same characters.
Bro , all these mofos trying to blow up Earth
Indirectly has a problem with 18. And Toriyama likes Krillen more than Gohan? Whats his owned count up to?
You cant just disrespect an SSJ2 like this
Who is trying to fool anyone? I'm all over these threads. Still not the one starting them. So eat a dick.
>implying being a samefag is wrong
>implying anyone else on /a/ has anything better to do then shitpost endlessly
>Literally weaker than a freeza henchmen
>everything else is irrelevant because Toriyama likes Krillin the most
Made him froze in the middle of a battle, when in RoF he was confident. He still is going to quit martial arts, relegate to background character's status.
>Toriyama likes him the most.
Yeah, sure. Toriyama likes Piccolo the most.
Kill yourself or visit another threads, people actually has discussions, shitpost is still shitpost and shitposters are perfect candidates for a ban.
>made him froze in the middle of battle
>Krillin only Super character to actually have a character arc over multiple episodes.
Krillin has more character development then Natsuo in Teppu.
Somebody have a List of Characters on thats stronger than Gohan besides Vegeta and Goku. Ill fucking wait
>people has discussion
>implying shitposting over Gohan getting taken down by an is a discussion
>implying that every thread about Super that degenerates into Gohanfag QQing isn't due to shitposting
>YfW Future Trunks confirmed as Champa's Saiyan
Meh. I really don't care about gohan. He had his time to shine Vs Cell.
Though, I'm fucking glad Green Giant is finally getting some more development besides being the dad gohan always wanted plus the granddad pan deserves so she doesn't end up like GT Pan
No retarded. If you have a bad memory then I will help you remember:
You create bait thread with "hurr, durr Krillin is the best, Gohan's a fucking jobber" "Krillin has the better family, Gohan is a fucking jobber" "Gohan is a jobber, hurr, durr".
Then continue with bait posts about Gohan.
The only one that shitpost about Gohan is you, the others actually talk or start to talk about Goku/Jaco/Bulma/Tighs/Videl/generic comment.
As I said kill yourself. Shitpost is still shitpost.
Frieza's torture toy is at Super Buu's level. Uub is a pleb.
>B-but much Super Cyan Goku.
Remainder Goku can low his ki even i the Super Cyan form.
Guess what? I didn't start this thread. But I sure as hell will post in it.
>others want to talk about Goku/Jaco/Bulma
All these threads are is shitposting about power levels, Gohan irrelevance and stupidly high levels of autism. I'm just calling out shit.
Even in the newest DBS chapter Vegeta said Gohan has the biggest potential of all of them.
Piccolo can't have any significant power up unless he absorbs someone, the same with Buu. And if SSJ Gohan can defeat Ginyu!Tagoma it would confirm SSJ Gohan>SSJ Gotenks.
>All these threads are is shitposting about power levels, Gohan irrelevance and stupidly high levels of autism
Anon, don't talk only about your posts.
The other were talking about how good looking is Bulma's sister and the god tier genes Bulma's family has when you were shitposting about Gohan.
>Piccolo can't have any significant power up unless he absorbs someone, the same with Buu.
Eh, the way Super goes, I'm pretty sure Whis taking Piccolo to his new RoSaT thing will automatically bump him to god tier just in time for the tournament.
>Gohan has the biggest potential of all of them.
See this is the thing that bothers me. Gohan should be at his Max potential at this point and this shit comes up. The Truth is Gohan didnt keep up with training, if he did he wouldnt have any issue. But he picked the path of a scholar/family man, which as we know in the world of DBZ if youre a sayjin and not training you're gonna be pretty useless. Also Goten is the biggest disappointment.
>Gohan should be at his Max potential at this point and this shit comes up.
Even in the Buu Saga itself everyone makes fun of the Supreme Kai claiming that he can unleash hidden potential, saying that it's an extremely common ability. He tries to claims that it's different and it takes them BEYOND their max, but in the Buu Saga itself the same thing had been claimed about the Majin seal. Potential unlock in Dragonball is a joke.
>But he picked the path of a scholar/family man
There are two Gohan in Super. The true Gohan is the SoL episodes that even talked how important train is to keep Earth safe and the Gohan in the fights that can't be strong to fight the villain because that would make Goku less cool. This is the same reason Buu wasn't allowed to join them in RoF but he is in U6 arc.
And what do you expect of Goten if no one gives a shit about him? Goten needs his own Piccolo. He and Trunks just fool around without nobody caring about his education or training.
>Everything is happy for him.
I agree, but really if you dont train you're not gonna be on the A team or even the B team in DBZ.
>Potential unlock in Dragonball is a joke.
Indeed its bullshit. Whats the point in unlocking your "max/latent" potential 2 twice?
He WAS suppose to give that Goku charm in kid form but failed miserably
>Everything is happy for him
And I quote an asian:
>But the reality was devastating. So as I was a little upset....(I like Gohan)
There are like 12 or 13 universes. Dragonball takes place in Universe 7. Each universe has a twin universe and 7's twin universe is 6.
There's going to be a universe 7 team composed of Goku, Vegeta, etc...
The real problem is that the script writers clearly realize that it makes sense for Gohan to train in order to protect his loved ones, and so he has dialogue mentioning that - even in this episode he was talking about having a family now and his responsibility and such.
However, it's clear that Toriyama isn't interested in moving him in that direction at all, so those all end up as empty words.
Are you still here?
Then explain why instead of Tagoma with Super Buu power, they didn't just simply allow all of the characters (Buu included) to fight Frieza, Frieza taking them as a diversion, after they finished with Frieza's army. Or why Toriyama didn't allow Vegeta to kill Frieza? Or why wasn't Krillin allowed to weaked Frieza in Namek with a Kienzan?
Mystic Gohan unlocks his full potential so he doesn't need to train.
Also, if he struggled against Buu while mystic (full potential), then you can argue that his potential isn't actually that high.
>Then explain why instead of Tagoma with Super Buu power, they didn't just simply allow all of the characters (Buu included) to fight Frieza
Tagoma will likely be defeated by this group. They couldn't really make any progress against Freeza without making him look way too weak to taken on a Goku who will be even stronger than a Super Saiyan God when he returns.
Yeah, this is the same problem various characters have.
>Why aren't the humans allowed to use the Kaio-ken?
>Why isn't Videl allowed to have a personality?
>Why is Chi Chi still a bitch when in the Buu saga she was okay?
Gohan should be training, not to be the strongest that's Goku's character, but to protect his love ones. I don't invent this, Gohan said it himself, but he isn't allowed because that would be mean Toriyama would have to invent more excuses to depower him when a new villain appears.
Gohan will step up when Goku gets killed next time, and his family is threatened. I bet we'll see some shit Goku hasn't even pulled off then, only to be exceeded by Goku next arc.
Human/Saiyan blood's endless potential and the family man mentality will eventually get it's chance to shine.
Toriyama just needs to die first.
>Mystic Gohan unlocks his full potential so he doesn't need to train
But that doesnt make sense, why wouldnt you need to train?
Hear me out, Young Goku, i agree was rustic since he lived in the country but he was just a playful kid just like Goten. Only thing different between them is the fact Goten wasnt trained by Roshi. Both live in the country, both did chores, both screwed around, both were naive as fuck, both had no intrest in girls, both have a kind heart. Seriously i can go on.
What makes Goten Different from Kid Goku?
in a perfect world gohan ate the fucking senzu and kicked purple guy ass.
that would've been fucking brilliant.
Even as a child Goku had more focus on the whole martial arts stuff. He traveled around the world, searched for Roshi to train him... Goten enjoys martial arts as a play thing, but he seems much less serious about it all.
>without making him look way too weak to taken on a Goku who will be even stronger than a Super Saiyan God when he returns
This is what retarded Toei/Toriyama are thinking. But in reality the only thing they would have to do to solve this is making Frieza toy with them, laughing like a crazy ass while doing it.
I think they'll attempt to make either Gohan or Gotenks look good by beating Tagoma in the end though. If we just got Freeza torturing everyone, that moment wouldn't exist.
Of course, I might be wrong. If no one can even beat Tagoma, and it's left up to Goku and Vegeta then you might be right.
This is bullshit. How the fuck can Tagoma be stronger than Piccolo in just 4 fucking months? He wasn't nearly as strong as he was when he fought Freeza on Namek. I don't care how brutal his training was with Freeza. Not even Goku or Vegeta got that strong that fast and he ain't no Saiyan or even a combat genius.
>Goku had more focus on the whole martial arts stuff
This is true, mainly because Grandpa Gohan taught him self defense. Goten was taught by Chi-Chi a little but mainly Gohan. Goten as you starte has no focus in martial arts really even less so than Trunks and thats saying alot. It goes back to parenting, which comes full circle to Piccolo Training him and making him slightly less useless.
>Goku trains to be the strongest and fights for fun, resulting in situations where the earth gets destroyed because he wasn't taking it seriously
>Gohan is the strongest and hates fighting but does it to protect his family and the earth, ends fights as quickly as possible
>every time a strong opponent appears Goku has to stop no-fun-allowed Gohan from finding out before he gets a chance to play
I'm guessing they'll be altered versions of existing characters, like Champa and Vados are to Beerus and Whis. Something like slightly differently designed Raditz and Nappa named Daikon and Kyabetz.
We all know Goku is cocky, too much to the point that Vegeta is actually cooler in comparison since he takes known threats seriously. Its like Goku is Vegeta on Namek minus killing and Vegeta is Goku during the Sayijin Arc.
Yes, look how to make a point and not just post images of girls and repeat the same speech over and over when you are more obsessed about Gohan than the "Gohanfags"
Post more for my personal collection.
But what's aggravating is that Gohan has become #1 go to jobber for that very reason, not to mention him gaining any sort of power up or relevancy are pretty much null, at least right now and the upcoming tournament arc.
Why would Earth's population being wiped out prevent Champa's Saiyans from being alternate versions of Saiyans we've seen?
>Gohan is the strongest and hates fighting but does it to protect his family and the earth, ends fights as quickly as possible
Gohan got the Goku's syndorme in his fight with Dabura.
But I would pay to watch that. 10/10, great post, anon.
The Pillaf stuff in general was oddly crippled in Super. The show by itself doesn't even give a reason for them being children and they didn't acknowledge Goten's similarity to Goku.
Still, the Mai/Trunks stuff was referenced in Toriyama's script for RoF, so if that's going to be relevant at all (like them getting together for real after a timeskip) we'll likely suddenly see them together when the time comes with no build up, or get an episode shipping them.
The "Passing of the Torch" idea for Gohan is gone man, its been gone. If Gohan needs to be anything it is strong enough to be a plan B when Goku and Vegeta fail at something. This at least will save his character's already dwindling credibility.
Earth and its people were the biggest factor in Goku going as far as he did, there is no fucking way Nappa, Raditz or even Vegeta could go SS without the drive to push your limits. Vegeta only went SS because of Goku being ahead of him, destroying his pride making him work 1000 times harder.
You could also say its a universe King Vegeta killed Freiza instead, and the Saiyan race prospered like never before. So the power difference is going to be asspulled I think.
>he's the perfect character on paper to just dad up and handle the situation.
He is, but its not going to happen. If anything if i was a Gohanfag i would cling to Future Gohan and how GAR he was.
>Anyone else is obsolete, they aren't allowed to be strong.
They wouldn't be making a 5 man team for the first story actually written with Super in mind if that were the case.
Heck, rewatch the Super-17 Saga, which had Goku stuck in hell while the other characters handled grunts and then were crushed by 17. Goku in hell had a LOT more screentime thatn what we saw this week.
It could easily happen, dead characters don't stay dead anyway. There's precedent for something like that.
Goku has been such a one note character for so long he's really starting to get too uninteresting to hold a show. Eventually that will be evident and the spotlight will get shared a little more.
Because he isn't the freaking main character and the movie had no one else for Goku to fight.
Maybe they should have brought back King Cold and made him stronger than Freeza. Then Vegeta could kill Freeza and Goku finishes off Kold.
>Vegeta killing the tyrant that slaved him and killed him
He tried and failed.
>when Goki is only doing it for the fun of it.
Confirmed for not knowing what you talking about.
>Because he isn't the freaking main character
i know its just something i get salty about thats all. Just like why didnt Tein/Yamcha/Piccolo learn the Spirit Bomb/Instant Transmission or Kio-Ken while they were dead.
I see Goten as a kid that just wants to be a kid playing with Trunks only difference is that he's super strong.
I felt like Goku had much more drive and focus. He seemed like he had adult independence, but was immature due to being rustic. He lacked manners and wasn't as book smart nor knew much of anything due to this.
Goten is much more innocent kid like to me.
Broly will still hulk out but it's gonna be world ending strong, and the other Saiyan is going to be King Vegeta because the only person that could rustle Vegeta more than Goku would be Vegeta.
>Confirmed for not knowing what you talking about
Yes, I know what I'm talking about. There wasn't any need for Whis reversing time and Earth being destroyed. Goku and Vegeta didn't learn shit from that. So at least allow Vegeta to kill Frieza and Goku to actually learn to take shit seriously the next time.
>That's apparently they only place that knows how to do it.
King Kai knows how to do it as well, he never taught Goku it because he never asked if something like that was possible.
>They wouldn't be making a 5 man team for the first story actually written with Super in mind if that were the case.
Piccolo should be stronger, Krillin should be actually confident at this point after facing Cell and Buu when fighting jobbers, Gohan should at least be allowed to have the Mystic form, Buu should at least appear in RoF if they are going to use him in U6 arc and Gotenks. All of them fighting Frieza, and almost dying then the MC appears to save them from the evil guy.
>King Kai knows how to do it as well, he never taught Goku it because he never asked if something like that was possible.
But Goku literally does ask him that.
When they finish their training King Kai realizes that he forgot to account for the amount of time it would take for Goku to go back down snake way. Goku asks if King Kai can just teleport him back, and King Kai says that he can't.
The episode where King Kai claims to know Instant Transmission was filler.
The problem is, the universe 6 counterparts appear to be based on the same thing as universe 7, but different people
Whis and Beerus are "twinned" with the other two.
So we might see two saiyans that are the goku and vegeta equivalents, but with different names, somewhat different looks, but similar backstory.
For instance, Prince Vegeta of the Warrior Saiyan Race becomes Sir Sadala of the proud Saiyan Kingdom.
Or Goku the Last Son of Planet Vegeta raised by men becomes Kokorotta, the Adoptive Daughter of Planet Earth, who raises human orphans.
Just saying it would be useful man, If you make Support characters they should support in some why besides standing around or throwing beans. All i'm for is rounding out DBS/Z's cast, ever other anime can have a team of 5 dudes that are roughly even in strength and importance but DBZ fails to do this.
Goku trained for an ENTIRE year and ONLY learned that ONE technique while out in space.
And he's a genius at picking up techniques.
Also, Piccolo likely wouldn't have been able to learn the spirit bomb at the time he was dead, on account of him still being somewhat evil, it would hurt him to use.
Also, don't forget Goku had an ENTIRE YEAR to reach king kai and train, the rest had only 10 months, and had multiple people training instead of king kai focusing on one.
Why stop there?
Why not female Super Saiyan?
Why not female Super Cyan?
>Vegeta's face when female Goku
Humanity's still alive in Trunks' timeline, and timelines aren't the same as alternate universes.
You have Heroes and Xenoverse for your Trunks needs.
You won't be able to handle it.
You won't be able to handle the monkey pussy.
Vegeta won't be able to handle his raging monkey boner.
>the only person that could rustle Vegeta more than Goku would be Vegeta.
Actually, this would be pretty interesting/ Vegeta could fight an alternate version of himself, and see just how much of a huge, incorrigible prick he is.
>Is that me?
>Is that me STRONGER than me?!
>mfw U6 Vegeta taunts U7 Veg by saying, "Do you see? I'm a better you than you'll ever be."
>Vegeta killing the tyrant that slaved him and killed him, when Goki is only doing it for the fun of it. Bull fucking shit.
The only thing bullshit about RoF is the Vegetafags who wouldn't shut the fuck up about how Vegeta was owed redemption over Freeza, when the reality was Vegeta didn't care about how the Saiyans ended up, only that they served Freeza loyally and was killed anyway.
And it would have been fucking stupid if only Goku got humiliated for being a dumbass, by letting his guard down, whereas Vegeta was given several opportunities to jump in and fight Freeza and turned them down all down to watch, talk shit about not holding back, only to get killed for stopping to run his mouth instead of finishing Freeza off, which plays right into his own fault for hesitating.
Broly confirmed for coming back.
Das a good joke mang.
>maybe piccolo will fuse with alternate piccolo and become relevant again
I'd like to believe that Whis could train Piccolo and Buu (if he isn't still sleeping) within those 5 days to put them on a decent level, just by using the Room of Spirit and Time, if not Whis on equivalent to it. I mean, there's 5 fucking days before the tournament, that's 5 years worth of training.
Even if Buu is still sleep, he could train Gohan or Gotenks with plenty of time to spare.
I'm not a huge fan of DBZ. In fact, all I've seen is Resurrection F in theaters which I thought was good.
Anyway, my brother loves DBZ. For christmas I wanna get him a bunch of DBZ stuff. So far I've gotten him Budokai 2 and Resurrection F on DVD
He still hasn't seen it
I was thinking about getting him Battle of the Gods but apparently it's shitty? Or am I mistaken?
I need some input on what else I should get
Didn't wanna waste thread space for one question
Considering Vegeta and Buu are buddy-buddy with the Z crew, I'd say the odds are kind of high. That is, unless it's this new strong guy that joins them. In that case the U6 friendly will just be a friend that shows up later when there's some sort of multiverse-level threat.
If he is, then it seems calling him a fag would be more appropriate then anything else.
>I was thinking about getting him Battle of the Gods but apparently it's shitty? Or am I mistaken?
Whoever told you that is full of shit. If your brother is a DBZfag he'll love Battle of Gods, simply for the laid-back premise of the film and it's ending. Unless your brother is one of those DBZfags who only care about fighting non-stop I honestly can't see how not enjoying BoGs, unless he gives zero shits about the characters, in that case, fuck 'em. Get Battle of Gods anyway for yourself.
Well Toriyama is a hack fraud whose creative genius ended at Namek (Super Saiyan bargain sale), with a few bright spots in the Cell saga.
So anything goes.
>The only thing bullshit about RoF is the Vegetafags
DBS threads amuses me it's worse than YT or reddit. Goku didn't have any motivation to fight Frieza but for the fun of it. Vegeta in the other hand gave a speech to Frieza of the humiliation he passed under him and even talked about the Saiyan race, his people. Vegeta had more motivations to kill Frieza, even the fucking movie spited them for you.
You know what? No.
Cell saga was one of the worst. It's far more creatively bankrupt than any other, before or after. Namek had some good moments but fucking Christ people oversell it like it's made of blowjobs and coke.
Toriyama's best Dragon Ball work was probably Red Ribbon arc, and Jaco if you count it.
The first time Goku went Super Saiyan he was fucking edgy, still no one complains about that. Every Saiyan have their time in the edgy category. SSJ2 Gohan only got edgy after retarded bug man kept poking him.
Makes me wonder....what indications do we have that Vegeta ACTUALLY cares about the Sayians?
We've seen him interact with or talk about like, three Sayians, all of which he hated.
>Came to Earth and killed his friend and the person who trained him (Nappa) for being too weak
>Pretty much hated his Father
>Hates Goku just for being strong
For all that "pride" in his strong, feared race, he hasn't been shown to care about practically anyone other than Trunks once or twice when the plot demanded for him to have a Gohan-esque RAGE powerup.
Maybe it was all the cocaine he did and ideas from the hookers he hung around.
Woah dude, I hate the Cell saga as much as the next guy and look down on all the Cell saga plebs; but it wasn't worse than Buu.
Cell saga had
future Trunksand he's hot no homo
>SSJ2 and SSJ3
I think Toriyama confused them for Super Saiyan Grade 2 and Ultra Super Saiyan, the buff forms. Remember the transformations Vegeta and Future Trunks had against Semi-Perfect Cell & Perfect Cell?
>His best friend gets blown up
Like who Cell killed. The robot that understand Gohan second the Piccolo.
>Goku and Vegeta didn't learn shit from that.
You must have missed the part where after Whis turned back time, Goku just rushed the fuck in there and killed Frieza with a Kamehameha.
I just realized it's been a whole fucking month since TFS released the Android 13 video. I also just realized they make fucking $12k from patreon alone, why is it taking them this goddamn long?
>Vegeta in the other hand gave a speech to Frieza of the humiliation he passed under him and even talked about the Saiyan race, his people. Vegeta had more motivations to kill Frieza, even the fucking movie spited them for you.
Doesn't mean shit, when the movie makes a point to beat you over the head with the fact that Vegeta for all his shit of being a fighting prodigy biggest flaw is that he hesitates too much. It was plain as fucking day this was going to be the crux to whatever fighting happens with Freeza the same way Whis assessment that Goku let's his guard down too much.
That faggots are crying over Vegeta not getting the kill, when his death was literally due to a Freeza nuking the Earth is sad enough, but that you're petty enough to want Vegeta to still kill Freeza after thoroughly getting humiliated AGAIN and getting everyone on Earth killed, in the process, is just pathetic.
Newsflash: The only people who are salty over Goku killing Freeza are Vegetafags. Piccolo and Kuririn have just as much right to want Freeza dead, due to what Freeza did to Namek and Kuririn respectively, but you don't see them crying about their characters not getting retribution.
This shit with Vegeta 'needing' to kill Freeza is fucking laughable, because Goku killing Freeza was done during a do-over after Goku was thoroughly humiliated and humbled after getting sniped with a laser pistol, despite him training his ass off and outclassing Freeza with SSJ Blue.
>And then they proceeded to say fuck it after Whis told them how idiot they were.
They said fuck it to working together, which was the secondary to each of their faults, which got them killed.
>The only people who are salty over Goku killing Freeza are Vegetafags
I would prefer if Vegeta killed Frieza and dear anon, I'm not a Vegetafag. Do you want me to show you my DB folder to prove it?
>Goku was thoroughly humiliated and humbled after getting sniped with a laser pistol
Goku deserved it, Vegeta killing Frieza would probably forced him to learn the lesson.
Anon why do you quote my entire post?
And that was the lesson Whis wanted them to learn. He said if they worked together they would be unstoppable, instead of arguing like fucking retarders.
It's bad enough that in order to let Vegeta have a turn, we have to have one of the dumbest scenes in Dragonball to date.
Isn't this the same sort of shit people were complaining about in GT? Oh, but if it means Vegeta gets a turn, then it's all good.
>I would prefer if Vegeta killed Frieza and dear anon, I'm not a Vegetafag. Do you want me to show you my DB folder to prove it?
Well, that's cool and all, but...
>Goku deserved it,
Nice try, Vegetafag. Goku deserved to get killed for being a fucking moron, just like Vegeta deserved to get killed for stopping to talk to an opponent he had beaten, when there was no fucking reason to do so and Vegeta was well aware how much of a scumbag Freeza is.
And Vegeta wouldn't have learned shit, by killing Freeza no more than Goku would have, had he not got shot.
>It's bad enough that in order to let Vegeta have a turn
Except for the fact that Goku offers Vegeta a chance to go first twice, with Vegeta first stating that Freeza is Goku's opponent, then Vegeta saying he'll wait.
It's not like Vegeta never got a chance before the retarded laser bullshit happened. Vegeta wanted to watch Goku and Freeza fight for a while before taking his turn.
Which is another reason why it's highly likely Goku and Vegeta will be the first two eliminated during the tournament, since they're too full of themselves to learn shit.
>think it's foreshadowing to another goku/vegeta fusion?
It kinda goes without saying at this point, since I could totally see Champa losing his shit after his team ultimately loses the tournament and try to fuck up Earth--with Vados around to keep Beerus and more importantly Whis from interfering.
>no more than Goku would have, had he not got shot.
Goku is incapable of learning shit. This is the same mistake he did with Majin Buu. He could had killed Fat Buu, but said fuck it, let's have fun before I return to the other world.
Vegeta killing Frieza after Goku got one-shotted would hurt Goku's pride, then forced to learn the fucking lesson.
>Goku deserved it, Vegeta killing Frieza would probably forced him to learn the lesson.
That makes zero fucking sense. Both of them deserved to get fucked for flat out ignoring their teacher's advice.
RoF was literally there to have both saiyans look pathetic. It'd be fucking stupid if it's only Goku OR Vegeta, when they got the same training and were literally Earth's only hope, but still chose to be careless (Goku) and hesitating (Vegeta) in the face of a guy who's been brooding for several decades for revenge.
>That makes zero fucking sense. Both of them deserved to get fucked for flat out ignoring their teacher's advice.
Well, you are right in this one. But I doubt Whis or Beerus would care enough to kill Frieza and the other non-Goku characters aren't that powerful to kill Frieza. So the best option is Vegeta.
>Vegeta killing Frieza after Goku got one-shotted would hurt Goku's pride, then forced to learn the fucking lesson.
No it wouldn't. Goku doesn't give a shit about pride like Vegeta does, only that he gets to fight strong opponents fair and square.
Your scenario only works if Freeza was the one who one-shotted Goku. Goku conceded and thanked Vegeta for saving his life after Vegeta stepped in and just let him have his turn.
And Goku learned his lesson and quickly killed Freeza, when Whis gave him another chance. IF Vegeta went first and Goku had to save him, then died, like Vegeta did, then I could see Vegeta stepping in and quickly finishing, like Goku does, AFTER Whis rewinds time.
Vegeta cleaning up after Goku and not getting a comeuppance after ignoring his master's assessment of his key personality fault would be a shitty ending to the film, outside those people who stupidly judge DBZ characters worth by their kill count vs them contributing when it counts.
Both saiyans needed a humbling experience, which was the main point of RoF, because even if Vegeta got the kill, after time rewound, via Whis, instead of Goku, he would have STILL had the humiliation of getting killed by a weaker opponent, not even his special form, because he couldn't shut the fuck up at a crucial moment vs Goku would still looks like dogshit, despite him quickly killing Freeza on a do-over, because he still technically got murdered by a laser pistol, if not for Vegeta stepping in.
>So the best option is Vegeta.
The best option would have been Goku and Vegeta not being arrogance shitheads and fusing, then killing Freeza right out, instead of bullshitting around like morons.
The cheap shot aspect can be used on any character. That's the whole point of Goku's weakness that Whis explained.
You can't have Tagoma look stronger than Goku or Vegeta because they still have to beat Frieza.
I think where they're going with this is, Tagoma will be at an advantage against everyone. He'll be moving in for the kill when Ginyu body switches. Gotenks attacks, but Ginyu able to out last the fusion, Gohan goes super saiyan and finishes him off. Then Frieza takes out Gohan..
IT'S GOING TO BE EVIL GOKU THAT'S GOING TO BE ONE OF CHAMPA'S SAIYANS
IT WAS HIM THAT RAVAGED EARTH BECAUSE IN THIS UNIVERSE HE DIDN'T GET AMNESIA AFTER HE SENT TO EARTH TO DESTROY IN THE FIRST PLACE.
This also had a domino effect so Freeza and Buu are still alive and might be in the top 5 because goku wasn't there to kill them.
screencap this post cause even though this in no way justifies goku being the strongest in his universe anymore, it does explain what happened to U6 earth.
Literally Yamcha jr.
We all saw it coming.
His style is very much like a charicature where he tends o focus on the things that highlight the character. Unfortunately this series has lots of beefy humans and Demi-humans. He really should've stuck to comedy.
Eh, characters being stronger than others is obviously still a thing. Power levels are just the term attached to it, even though the power levels that scouters give is more like "current ki output."
Are you saying that Yamcha is a cuntboy?
It would make sense, he had no girlfriends prior to Bulma and Bulma is pretty adventurous.
There is no explanation for why Bulma left him, and they do seem to be on awfully good terms.
Gentlemen, it has become clear that Yamcha might not have a penis.
I hate goku haters. Fuckin make me sick.
I hate that gohan is a complete weakling now, but they can always do something with him later on. The series is nowhere near finished, gohan will have his time again.
The question is, how will goku grow as a fighter? What new techniques attacks will be learned?
You know Warp Kamehameha? Like that, but Goku stays still while the beam teleports around.
And all the places it exits and enters from maintain the beam so it just turns in to a laser grid.
>What new techniques attacks will be learned?
I don't know but something that i really like about super is that Whis's training makes a lot of sense, he is teaching them how to make their ki grow inside of them without letting it go out of their bodies
so now they are going to have all that extra ki that destroyed mountains and shit inside of them to make their attacks even stronger
Proving what I've said for years, that ki converts to all attributes including physical strength.
It is shown throughout the series. But super focuses on completely mastering ki and controlling it as a god would.
Personally, I like goku more when he's pissed off, he don't fuck around man.
I think that's why evil goku is something people like me want to see it.
Shit, they do it all the time in American comics despite not being the best received, but still something cool to look back on in the franchise as a collective. At least we could say yeah that shit was cool.
Instead, we have metaphors (turles, vegita, any saiyajin from planet vegita ) which is bullshit.
I want my 1 episode kenshiro goku lol wata!!!! One episode of him just going rogue fucking everything up only to blackout and snap out of it.
I kinda wish their training was more intense kind of like a baki the grappler tone but in a dbz type way. If they live to fight they should be doing some OP retarded shit.
Make your mark on the action scene super.
I am an action conoisseur, I expect great things from super for an 18 year wait.
>evil goku is something people like me want to see it
Muricans,when will they learn?
Dragon ball is not an edgy show, yeah, it has a few serious moments but toriyama would never write something like that
dragon ball is about adventure, fighting and good light hearted humour ,please read or watch the original dragon ball
Lol Japan would get upset, but I would love to see a serious tone dbz with a few jokes here and there, not every 2 minutes.
Kind of like a kingdom come version of dbz. That would be perfect. Imma action guy and z delivered. Shit even Dragonball delivered.
I think in the minds of most fans who values the action of z wanted to see the series go even further and more intense. Not too much to ask for. One punch man did it, Dragonball can do it better. They need to fire yamamuro.
Idc if he writes it or after super is done, there are non canon series, they just need competent writers it can be done.
I understand if people don't want it in the "Canonical" story, but it could definitely make for a cool "heroes" special or something non canon.
I feel like heroes can do anything and be safe.
Even make some darker than usual content with serious warrior tones in complete struggle and despair.
Also, very comical specials.
So I just started reading through all the manga. I got interested from watching
dbza. At this point I'm at the end of the freeza saga. Is it worth it continuing to read straight through? If not, is there anything else in the series that I should look at instead?
Because they want to eat it.
Because Naotoshi Shida didn't animate any section in it, but he did this scene for BoG.
You can't handwave this bullshit just by saying WAHHH POWER LEVELS ARE BULLSHIT.
It was a concept that was introduced and thrown out of the series, yes, BUT the idea of X being Stronger than Y has literally paved the way since fucking DBZ began, and a reason why most of the fucking cast doesn't have an active role anymore. Shit, even the idea of skill or some other measure of combat is out of the window because power means everything now.
You can't just throw out the consistency the series itself has born itself upon to try and hand wave shit like this away.
The last dbz thing I saw was the one that introduced Bills the cat god or something, what else is new and in what order (if order matters)
I hear there's more movies and a new show? Is it as good as webm related?
But there are still power levels, people just dislike how some of the characters are getting their power increase, and so start bulshit conspiracies about powers being lowered or leveled out.
The 90s movies which were mostly action were Japan made too. The current direction exists due to Toriyama having fuller control (and you could see the series moving in this direction as soon as he got an editor that allowed him to do anything he wanted in the Buu Saga), not 'Japan'.
Piccolo absorbed Kami. Although Kami and now Dende are both weak as hell, they do possess god ki. As Dende wouldn't be appropriate to train, they'll just have to bring the Kami out in Piccolo.
Just watch the movies
>people think tagoma is on cell or buu's level
all we know is that he's more powerful than ginyu and he's as powerful as gohan
however, we know that gohan is much weaker now than when he fought cell, he might be weaker than goku during his fight with frieza
let's take a look
>Scouters exploded when frieza revived. Frieza's power level in his first form is 530,000
>nothing happened to the scouters when Tagoma powered up
Why would anyone think that Future Trunks would be the 5th fighter? He isn't even that strong. I don't get it.
I just tried watching ep 21.
HOW THE FUCK DO YOU PEOPLE ENJOY THIS??!?!
The animation and art quality is fucking horrible. The comedy is shit. The voice actors are atrocious (Seriously, Krillin sounds like a weak little 6 year old it's disgusting).
And this is not even mentioning what actually happened this episode. Tagoma blowing a hole through Gohan who had already powered up to withstand the red demon's bear hug? Piccolo losing a fucking arm next episode?
What is this shit? Piccolo or Gohan should have just sent a generic ki blast and vaporized all of the soldiers.
>Tagoma blowing a hole through Gohan who had already powered up to withstand the red demon's bear hug?
Gohan was using just enough power to defeat the soldiers without killing them. Tagoma's level was way above Shisami's, thus he could blast both.
We also know that "base" Gohan is stronger than Piccolo, so there's no way he's anywhere near Freeza Saga levels.
>nothing happened to the scouters when Tagoma powered up
A much stronger 1st form Freeza was already there though and the scouters weren't blowing up. Using that logic, Freeza pre-training was stronger than Freeza post-training.
Dont think so unless theyre actually doing the gt thing that anon mentioned.
Itll be something stupid no doubt. Im wagering more on evil gohan sknce they made a point of mentioning him and his potential.
over8000 got the C&D because he put up a website with his personal information
if the fag just released on nyaa without a website (or done a website properly) none of it would've happened
I haven't posted all night and all day to see where this goddamn thread goes.
>Gohanfags QQ'ing about power levels AGAIN
Jesus Christ, you bitches need to stop watching this show right now. Just stop because this show shouldn't generate THIS much level of salt from you self inserting, autistic, power level loving cock smoking, donkey dick riding, chocolate pudding pop licking faggots.
Animation and art quality is pretty damn good and better then DBZ. B8 comment is b8.
>Voice actors are atrocious
Of course, all moonspeak is pretty much squeaky voices or guttural "man" voices.
>Tagoma blowing a hole though Gohan
Yes. Gohan got taken down by a sneak attack and Piccolo having his arm ripped off are fucking cool moments and shows power levels aren't everything. Fuck off.
People self insert as Future Trunks as much as they self insert as fucking Gohan.
>Mentioning power levels.
Toriyama straight up said you nerds need to move the fuck on from power levels. All we know is Tagoma is more powerful then the old Ginyu force and is at least as powerful as Gohan. It doesn't matter if that means he is super strong or super weak but it DOES mean that their strength is similar. Move on and enjoy the fight because it basically means anyone can win. Which is more entertaining then Gohan pressing the "I win" button and nuking everything.
They can give anyone a power boost however they wanted. They boosted Gohan and Krillin with Guru and Elder Kais unlocking of their abilities. Piccolo fused with Kami. Goku got the Kaoi Ken. They had the Time Chamber for additional training to get everyone up to Cell's level. Super Sayain God is achieved by the combined strength of 5 Sayains putting their energy into a 6th. They could easily introduce some plot mechanic to buff whoever they want to be relevant.
Also, it has become apparent with Super 21 that Krillin has gone through a character arc. He went from being bitched out by that harpy Chi Chi for letting 18 fight Beerus instead of him, getting punched by Goku to awake his training instincts, becoming a cop to do good, literally leading the fight to Frieza, and finally coming to grips with his fear over dying and fighting. Hell, after Goku and Vegeta, Krillin has the MOST character development.
Watch Super for the cool fights. The fight between Goku and Beerus was fun to watch and didn't drag on for too long. Had good music and good action. The fight with the Z team against Frieza's goons are cool and Gohan got taken out in a surprising way. I like not knowing if the team is as strong as their opponents. It makes the show interesting. But most of you faggots just QQ over power levels.
Watch Super for the cute SoL moments. If you didn't laugh at Super Sayain Hercule and his fake punch sending Goku and his tractor flying, you have no sense of humor or fun.
The show has more detail than the manga right now and is meant to be the primary material.
I wouldn't cal it a meme but they are some of the saltiest people I have ever encountered online.
Posting a meme frog? Low effort post.
I just realized I like Super because of the mixing of martial arts and fighting with daily life, gives a comfy good environment for me since I am a martial art fan.
This scene pretty much sums it.
Seriously, Super could have just been daily lives of super-powered fighters going through the struggles of "normal" life and I would watch it. Everyone loves the DMV filler episode, we should have more stuff like that instead of inflating the power levels even more and putting the world/galaxy/universe in danger for some reason.
Although Toriyama waited too long for that because One Punch Man is now a thing
>tfw Gohan is your favourite
>Gohanfags are being worse than Brolytards right now
I-I didn't like Gohan that much anyway
>Fuck around with the bad guy too long
>He/she gets the vital kill in
The only one in the whole franchise who ever understood this formula and how retarded you have to be to allow it to transpire right before your eyes without actively trying to prevent it, is Future Trunks.
I can't even imagine how disgruntled he must have been coming back in time to warn all the idiots to stop fucking around with the androids and just kill them, only for them to fuck it up constantly the whole ride though.
First thing Trunks does when he goes back is destroy the androids. He could have slapped 18 around awhile, humiliated her, fucked her, whatever. He knew better; just die. Clean kills for 17 and Cell too. Nothing flashy, killed them quick and got it done.
Even now, Goku & Vegeta who should know better by leaps and bounds, still shit the bed and get themselves, those around them, and the whole Earth killed. And Goku has never been smart, but he has to truly be a special kind of further beyond full retard to toy with Frieza not once, but twice. And twice, Frieza blew up the planet because of him.
>Weaker than Frieza
>Weaker than one of Frieza's fodder mooks
>Was killed by the biggest jobber bitch in the whole series
And Gohanfags think they have it rough?
Friendly reminder that this guy had the worst life out of any Dragon Ball character.
>Work hard to climb into Frieza army hierarchy.
>Never be listened when you tell your boss is plan is shitty.
>Get tortured by said boss.
>Get used as a punching bag by said boss for 4 month.
>Lose your sanity, but at least you got stronger than you could imagine.
>Get your body stolen by a fucking frog.
You're surprised that the show with strong, well-toned muscle men beating each other up and usually losing a shirt or something in the process attracts the homos?
There are like 3 homos in this thread RIGHT NOW, not counting OP.
I agree with this 100%
Gohan's treatment and character in this episode was done 3x better in this episode than in the movie.
What I'm hoping is for Gohan to kill/best Tagoma in the upcoming episodes.
Trunks is from a different timeline, but same universe as the main characters.
It seems that Super is going to have finite universes but infinite timelines for said universes.
But we dont know for sure yet, the only thing we know is that 6th and 7th universes are very similar cause they are "twins".
Not a Gohanfag in anyway, but I'd completely understand any rage they're feeling in the DBS so far. Toriyama has really portrayed Gohan in the worst possible way, even his CLOTHES are designed to be godawful.
I mean come the fuck on, the guy beat Cell and fought Super Buu. Yes he didn't train a single fucking day, but even this level of patheticness is too much for him. Oh well, I hope he eventually gets better (without some random BS but I doubt we'll be seeing a training arc..) again because he really doesn't deserve this treatment.
>The only one in the whole franchise who ever understood this formula and how retarded you have to be to allow it to transpire right before your eyes without actively trying to prevent it, is Future Trunks.
Which is exactly why Toriyama will never write a character like Future Trunks again. A long time ago Piccolo used to be like this, in that he'd rather deal with problematic fucktards early, but by the end of Namek/beginning of the Android arc he went full retard just like Goku and Vegeta. I could see people like Tenshinhan being reckless, due to how the crane school raised him and Chaiotsu, but when people like Kuririn are all for the saiyans bullshit, there's no hope for a sane voice of reason.
Gohan just got with whatever Goku and Piccolo are doing these days and Goten and Trunks treat everything like a game, so there really is no hope.
I just love where all of this is going.
Super is getting very interesting.
I am still wondering what Champa wanted to do with the planet balls in the first place.
He didn't knew about the Earth before Beerus and Whis told him about it, so what was his plan? What wish did he have?
>bulma goes out looking for super dragon balls
>finds original homework of saiyans. They're all playful but aggressive, like goku.
>bulma tells vegeta, excited that he has a people to rule
>vegeta hears they are like goku and decides to leave them alone, because he can't fathom ruling an entire people like him.
You realize that only buu, goku, vegeta, and gohan (and now frieza, beerus, whis, champa, and vados) were ever stronger than cell, right?
None of his henchmen reached cell level. None of the non-saiyan z fighters either.
Titles of next episodes
>Episode 22 airs on December 6th, 2015. This episode is titled “The Resurrection of Ginyu“
>Episode 23 airs on December 13th, 2015. This episode’s title is “Gohan in a situation of great danger“
Look, two more posts to my collection.
He meant Tagoma. In the next episode he's shown beating up Gohan and easily ripping off Piccolo's arm. The way he handles Piccolo places him at least above Cell Jr level and that's basically the lowest point for him.
The episode titles and summary indicate that Gotenks might be defeated, which would throw him all the way up to Super Buu level.
(from the summary for 22)
>The two boys feel Freeza's army's power and come to fight. After fusing, they're fully ready to battle, but...
>Episode 23 airs on December 13th, 2015. This episode’s title is “Gohan in a situation of great danger“
So this place Ginyu!Tagoma in the Super Buu level, and taking into account Gohan defeated Shisami in the movie, maybe in this he's going to defeat Tagoma. Which would mean SSJ Gohan's power is only a little weak in comparison to his Mystic.
Just wanna drop in and say that I just watched episode 21 of super and after watching resurrection of F, I'm very disappointed in how deposited they've made Gohan. I get everyone loves Goku and that's why toriyama chose to keep making him the main hero, but c'mon, that shouldn't mean Gohan as well as other really great characters should be weak and get defeated so easily. It just pissed me off that Gohan had to reassure everyone he can still become super saiyan. Like fuck you bro, what about mystic! And don't tell me it's a base form that's bull shit
Anyone deserved to be left in the void, getting completely useless. Nor Yamcha to the point of doesn'r being allowed to fight, nor Krillin to the point of making him almost pees himself in front of Frieza's jobber. Nor the half-saiyans, "the future protectors of the planet".
>Post-Cell Saga DB
Toriyama went full Lucas after green bug got fried by Gohan and Buu Saga is just as bad as GT or worse, featuring its own Jar-Jar known as Mr. Satan.
Prove me wrong.
>as bad as GT or worse
The characters got more character development, especially Vegata, Goku, Gohan and Chi Chi. In GT the only thing the character knew to do was cry for Goku and said how cool Goku wasJust like in the fights in Super.
>The characters got more character development, especially Vegata, Goku, Gohan and Chi Chi
Yeah, and all the others became useless/forgotten.
Maybe saying it is AS bad as GT is too harsh, but it started the new (shitty) format continued in Super, and you know it.
Krillin and Beerus have developed too, besides the ones he mentioned.
Who the fuck developed in GT? Pan went from being annoyed by Goku to sucking on his dick like everyone else, that's about it. Everyone else was the same or regressed (Goku fucking denied being a Saiyan, come on).
The characters in Super haven't been forgotten, they're just not getting as much spotlight in fighting the main villain (like in every arc in Z), they've been getting a TON of attention in the SoL scenes between the arcs. We know Super is adapting the two films, so all of this criticism about the characters is pointless, since it's something the films had as well, ans something the NEXT arc won't have (fucking Buu and Piccolo are fighting, Jaco and Bulma have a side-plot going on).
Reverse character development isn't good development. In the film Krillin was actually confident in his own abilities, then suddenly he's scared as fuck to fight even jobbers.
Gohan is other case, at this point there are many moments where it looked like he learned the lesson after getting his ass kicked and after lost his love ones. Super addressed this, but then he return to his quo status.
>Who the fuck developed in GT?
trunks went from being a spoiled toddler to work hard on fights and even dismantle babys plains once. Compare him during the mutant machines arc to goten.
pan always did something, like she even defeated a dragon and fought with dr gero.
pic related also.
Why would Chaotzu just hide while Tenshinhan is in danger? Hasn't Chaotzu been training with him Ten-san all this time? Why is it too dangerous for him?
