post the most unexpected happenings
I was tired of seeing this in poor quality so here is a better one for all the Doffyfags.
Let's judge the One Piece movies.
Great - SW, Z, 6, 4
Okey - 7, 2, 9, 11
Meh - 1, 3, 5, 8
>akainu has to all out punch with his teeth bared against fucking Coby
More or less though I feel 6 is the only one that can stand on its own as a film for a general audience
I don't even have opinions of 8 and 9 since they're remakes though 9 adds new elements
I try not to judge movies based off popular anime too much since they're more often than not just love letters for the fans
A popular theory, if only for how funny it seems, is that Crocodile was female and he turned him male. Otherwise there's no real clue and it's one of many tantalizing reveals waiting to happen.
>This came out of nowhere
Shanks was in the area when he first stopped Kaido from going to Marineford.
Speaking of kaido and unexpected scenes...
I'm getting tired of this meme word.
What's so much more immature about that than the other garbage that passes as funny here? Ivankov makes him uncomfortable and Oda has drawn many genderbent characters with a humorous take on them.
Does it need more memes?
>This series doesn't seem to have something that can attract girls a lot.
Even if we ignore the massive husbando material, one piece is still filled with cute things.
>Shanks was in the area when he first stopped Kaido from going to Marineford.
So? Doesn't change the fact that no one, not the Marines, not the other Pirates, not even Akainu himself noticed that a fucking Yonko was strolling up to him until it was too late. If Shanks wasn't such a nice guy Akainu would've been kill.
>shitting your panties
shitposter fag, you are really a dumbass. First off, you assume everyy b8 is so good. Let me point out your flaws. First, you said b8s were pretty much perfect. If that were so, you wouldn't brag about it, you would be humble and not attempt to gain attention from "OPfags who spend every tab on their browsers looking at stupid ass threads." Second, you said you dos nothing else than look at threads on chinese boards. There again you are wrong retard. I in fact only go on chinese boards when I have absolutely nothing else to do. I (and I assume at least several others on here) have reading skills. By assuming that it is all threads with no b8 you once again prove your idiot ways to us- you cannot grasp a concept that b8s can also use the OC. Third, if you are trying to prove to 4chan that b8s are perfect, at least type properly. "atract." You forgot a fucking letter. Fourth, A's are not that hard to get in high school dumbass. It's not a sign of intelligence, but an ability to listen. Good job for using something that everyone can do. Go to /sci/ and get your mind raped by some actual intelligence. There you go; I just wanted to you about how wrong you really are. With all honesty, I really don't give a shit what you say only wrote this because it’s fun as hell to rant to dumbasses. Next time, go tell someone who actually cares.
>admitting to be an underaged newfag
gg, newfag, enjoy the b&
Since naruto ended, many narutards tried to latch into One Piece, by just reading the wiki and watching the dressrosa anime while reading manga spoilers (anything but reading a fucking manga), we call them dressrosa babbies.
It's because of Thanksgiving Break, a bunch of underageb& are at home right now.
It usually gets like this around holiday breaks, it was just as bad years ago at the Punk Hazard cliffhanger
Oda could learn a lot from Naruto. Naruto actually ended. Its canon doesn't involve 100 chapter filler arcs like dressrosa nor does it involve 9 minutes of Bellamy springing every episode.
I was there for DB Super . Started posting in the OP thread 2 months ago. I made the "Jack" meme for Zo. I'm currently bullying the lot of you and enjoying every second of it.
You guys and your aversion for euphoric fedora users like me is so easy to manipulate. You sperg out at the mere sight of Powers. You're pathetic. You're trash.
>I was there for Steven Universe. Started posting in the OP thread 1 month ago. I made the "you seem angry" meme for Zo. I'm currently bullying the lot of you and enjoying every second of it.
You guys and your aversion for narutards like me is so easy to manipulate. You sperg out at the mere sight of Powers. You're pathetic. You're trash.
Oh yeah? I was there for the Avengers Movie. Started posting in the OP thread 2 weeks ago. I made the "stick around" meme for Zo. I'm currently bullying the lot of you and enjoying every second of it.
You guys and your aversion for plebs like me is so easy to manipulate. You sperg out at the mere sight of plebs. You're pathetic. You're trash.
>Barto is a strawhat fanboy
>BB steals WB's fruit
>Kuma shows up out of nowhere in Thriller Bark
>CP9 reveal at Water 7
These are the biggest surprises I can think of right now.
Why do you want Luffy to be sad, anon ? You're mean.
kek, you were right see >>134172118
kek, it IS an underaged b&
>getting triggered over being called gay
>pretending to be gay to fit in
Found the gay sissy.
I just watched One Piece and I spent the entire series repeating the words "This is 4chan, this is shitlords, this is 4chan, this is shitlords..." under my breath.
I fucking hated it. I was writhing around on the floor in, I mean, like, front of my sofa, like, for the last 30 minutes it was so painful. Ugh!
>Ayy politically incorrect meaniness skelleton
If you liked it you're in the wrong place, go to Arlong Park with me where us, gentlemen of the new generation can mock this piece of dirty evil 90s.
Trust me, if I could fuck my face I'd do it. I'm not ashamed, man.
I could easily tell you that I am in fact 21 years old, but where would that get us? At the end of the day this is nothing more than a anonymous Sri Lankan imageboard.
>continually replying to shitty bait
Sure you aren't the underage faggot, mate?
>I c-c-c-could e-easily tell you that I am in fact 21 years old I swear! Stop bullying me!
>continually replying to shitty bait
Sure you aren't the underage faggot, mate?
Post people getting knocked the fuck out.
Kyros was dressrosa's wiper.
But of course, he doesn't reach his level of badassness
Agreed. If we see a NW variant, he'll be freakishly strong (relatively) too.
Yeah that's a real good "when you see it" page.
Not seeing it here but I like the similarity of Rayleigh's face to Zoro's post-TS.

And yea, they really do look similar Post TS.
>probably reaffirming that Rayleigh knows everything
What would be the point of that though?
Wiper is talking about the home that his race lost 400 years ago,
the moon is shown in the same panel.
In the cover page with Luffy he has the same wings as the Skypeia people.
But he also has one of his eyes closed, which might imply that he might just be "half"-moon or something.
So did I speedread my way past something or were we seriously still not told about what happened to Sanji?
Nami talks about what happened when they met Big Mom's ship and how they got away, but... that's it? So where's Sanji?
Did he disappear during or after the Big Mom encounter? Before they got to Zou or on Zou?
I don't understand.
Did I miss something or was it just not mentioned yet?
I hope it's the former and not that Oda has seriously been keking us for like 5 chapters without giving us a proper answer.
Some of those questions you should know the answer to, so yes, I'm gonna have to fine you for speed reading.
You completely skipped like 2 chapters. You probably don't even know that Kaido has been revealed. Oda hasn't specified where exactly Sanji is or what exactly he is doing but we know have a general idea as to when.
>not knowing about the D
I like how Zoro's 'aura/intent/spirit' has been mentioned consistently.
>tfw I'm the one who made that picture
>tfw it's being used against me now
But I still don't know the answer.
I actually JUST read the last 2 chapters about 10 minutes ago.
Nami was crying when she was about to tell Luffy what happened to Sanji, then Luffy and Zoro react like it is no big deal. We know that Luffy and Zoro are blockheads and Nami is the most rational member of the crew and she said it is serious and urgent. Zoro and Luffy seemed like they did not know what Sanjis letter said and in the last chapter Luffy said he still does not know the full story. Man, I really don't know anymore what to expect out of this. Is is something serious with Sanji or not? Fucking Oda man.
Enies Lobby Zoro was the most devilish. Even if we forget about Asura.
WHERE MY NIGGA SANJI AT
Something serious did happen with Sanji
Luffy and Zoro aren't treating it as a big deal because it was something he probably decided to do himself and they trust he can handle himself
Not that guy but I thought it was Luffy's group that got to Zou after 10 days.
Zoro and Luffy don't care because they trust Sanji. They know he's capable of dealing with his problems. To them, Nami looks like she is overreacting because no one has told them anything. All they know is that Sanji left a note, meaning he went somewhere knowingly and probably not against his will.
Be patient nigger. I think Oda is finished with the set up now and in the next chapter we will finally get a longer flashback that tells us exactly what happened. On the downside this also means we probably won't learn what happened to Sanji until next year. But I bet it will blow our pants off.
So what's the end of the year cliff hanger going to be this time, bros?
Last year it was Sai defeating Lao G.
I think Oda has been influenced by Berserk lately
That image is too hilarious.
This was last years cliffhanger
I'm still in the belief that Rebecca had some CoO, but she's definitely not stronger than Dellinger.
I thought a cliffhanger was supposed to leave you with suspense, making you wonder what would happen next. Like Zoro's 'Plan E' or Gear 4th. Cavendish just straight up wrecked Dellinger and that was it. No build up, no suspense, no nothing.
Wait. After this week there's a two week break?
I didn't realize how close it was either
I want to see Zeff's reaction to Only Alive
I'm guessing we'll get all the "families", plus Vivi and Rayleigh, hopefully Garp, and maybe Boa. I think this is going to be a short one.
I don't think any of them could beat Madara Uchiha. And I'm not talking about Edo Tensei Uchiha Madara. I'm not talking about Gedou Rinne Tensei Uchiha Madara either. Hell, I'm not even talking about Juubi Jinchuuriki Gedou Rinne Tensei Uchiha Madara with the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan and Rinnegan doujutsus (with the rikodou abilities and being capable of both Amateratsu and Tsukuyomi genjutsu), equipped with his Gunbai, a perfect Susano'o, control of the juubi and Gedou Mazou, with Hashirama Senju's DNA implanted in him so he has mokuton kekkei genkai and can perform yin yang release ninjutsu while being an expert in kenjutsu and taijutsu. I’m talking about Kono Yo no Kyuseishu Futarime no Rikudo Juubi Jinchuuriki Gedou Rinne Tensei Uchiha Madara with the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan (which is capable of Enton Amaterasu, Izanagi, Izanami and the Tsyukuyomi Genjutsu), his two original Rinnegan (which grant him Chikushodo, Shurado, Tendo, Ningendo, Jigokudo, Gakido, Gedo, Bansho Ten’in, Chibaku Tensei, Shinra Tensei, Tengai Shinsei and Banbutsu Sozo) and a third Tomoe Rinnegan on his forehead, capable of using Katon, Futon, Raiton, Doton, Suiton, Mokuton, Ranton, Inton, Yoton and even Onmyoton Jutsu, equipped with his Gunbai(capable of using Uchihagaeshi) and a Shakujo because he is a master in kenjutsu and taijutsu, a perfect Susano’o (that can use Yasaka no Magatama ), control of both the Juubi and the Gedou Mazou, with Hashirama Senju’s DNA and face implanted on his chest, his four Rinbo Hengoku Clones guarding him and nine Gudodama floating behind him AFTER he absorbed Senjutsu from the First Hokage, entered Rikudo Senjutsu Mode, cast Mugen Tsukuyomi on everybody and used Shin: Jukai Kotan so he can use their Chakra while they are under Genjutsu.
unexpected happenings you say?
he's dead in my headcanon
well he was cutting through steel with his berserker armor, so he'd be able to beat mr 1. as well. He could probably beat up to ~lucci level opponents.
he would get fucked up while doing it but he usually does.
Top 10 known swordsman in no particular order:
Strongest swordsman on Wano
I put down 11, but Zoro would need to be stronger than at least one of them to be in the top ten, and it's possible he's stronger than Vista now but that's it, so he's definitely not top five.
Lucky Roux is questionable, as it's very possible Oda changed his mind after he drew this page. I think it's also possible he just rarely uses the sword though.
Ahaha, this makes you angry doesn't it? Stay frustrated faggot.
Nah Lucci is way too fast for him ,he is also at least city block level in terms of both DC and durability, e should beat Daz and probably even Alabasta Zoro.
Not even a swordsman
We know literally noting about him
H emight end up being a big shot but chances are he'd be east blue level just like Zeff.
Not a swordsman as that would imply he's weaker than Mihawk.
You really believe Bogart is not top tier as Garp's right hand man and swordsman?
Lucky Roux is depicted as a swordsman in the second page of the first chapter of the manga, I already posted the page.
A mere flashback of Koshiro allowed Zoro to cut steel.
Without Haki, Zoro's technique was proven to be stronger than Mihawk's, because he defeated the Humandrills who used Mihawk's exact techniques sans haki.
It's stated that Shanks and Mihawk never settled the score as swordsman, so if anything they are tied at #1 but Mihawk has the public title and Shanks doesn't give a fuck about it. Shanks used his sword against all strong opponents in the story so far.
Even if you remove all four of those names from the list, there's still 6 presumably above Zoro at this point.
I agree that Zoro is one of the strongest swordsmen now, but top 5 is pushing it.
Not that guy but, Lucky has a gun too. He's not even weilding the sword, it might just be a pirate thing. Especially since it's early One Piece. Lucky used a pistol to kill the bandit, he didn't stab him through the neck.
Also, did the Humandrills use Mihawk's techniques ? I might be forgetting it but I was pretty sure the Mihawk monkey was filler. Not to mention the only "technique" Mihawk has even shown is swinging his arms and shit exploding.
That sword looks pretty special though, it's not some random shitty sword, it's gotta be a named one at minimum.
But I already prefaced that he may not have that sword at all, as that was page 2 of One Piece manga so maybe it's not canon and that scene will never occur.
Nami is a glass cannon. She has some good attacks but Usopp is tanky as fuck. Not to mention he's quick and knows Nami's style. He isn't going to sit around like a retard and wait for a thunder cloud to spawn above his head.
I know Oda said he wanted Usopp to be the weakest/closest to human but the way he's depicting the characters, it doesn't look like it.
Not sure if he even had it at Marineford, actually. I think it was just an early OP thing.
I'm pretty sure Luffy is in my top 3 shonen MCs
>there's nothing that appeal to him.
Luffy don't give a fuck. To be specific, he don't give a fuck if you give a fuck. He only gives a fuck about shit he wants to give a fuck about and that's appealing to me. Too many shounen MCs tend to fall into the "try and talk my opponents down" or "try to outthink my opponent" but Luffy don't give a fuck.
I knew Luffy was a special guy when he said how much Coby was a shit.
You want generic MC with no appeal, just look at Asta in Black Clover
Truly, the very epitome of generic.
I think everyone's reactions to Luffy's bullshit paints a pretty good picture about Luffy himself.
this episode was a fuggin clunker in the anime
his intro was great but this one tried way too hard to be funny. and it's not like they botched it or anything, there's just way too many jokes
I think it's just because he's new and didn't get to hang out with the Strawhats as much. Or people getting tires of his jokes or whatever.
I disagree. Mihawk uses haki in conjunction with his swordsmanship. I don't think that a devil fruit should disqualify someone from being a swordsman. It makes sense for him to be as strong as he can be with his sword and using his ability with it makes sense. Also given Fujitora's sense of honor if you were strong enough to defeat his gravity to a certain extent, and a good enough swordsman, he might in fact willingly stop using it and fight you swordsman to swordsman. That's pretty wild speculation though I admit.
>dumber than Goku who is literally retarded and a manchild who is afraid of a fucking needle
Luffy isn't even stupid. He just doesn't give a fuck if it isn't something important. Just remember his speech to Wapol or Vivi.
Luffy's not like that anymore
He's more of a mainstream generic hero who has out-of-character badass moments like posing and talking the enemy down,
and then he goes completely bipolar when he's not fighting
Whereas previously he was a kooky motherfucker, throughout any scenario
If Usopp was a swordsman he still would only have CoO. I think that if one magic can be used to advance your swordsmanship, so can another. Devil Fruits are universal in that if you find one you can eat one. Haki is universal in that it's latent inside of people, but not everyone can access it, and in a sword fight where one user has haki and the other doesn't, one has invincible swords and the ability to take slashes bare skinned and the other doesn't.
Luffy is pretty stupid academically, but he's a lot more aware than Goku is in regards of social relationships. He's not dumb enough to not know what marriage is, he just doesn't give a fuck. And he's a lot more astute to what people need to hear or do to make them feel better mentally and emotionally, unlike Goku.
poop jokes are different from farting jokes.
luffy saying to camie "do you poop?" is hilarious as fuck because it's luffy and 100% in his character. i can't think of any other examples, but there's one.
brook farts and the audience is supposed to laugh because... why, exactly? brook burps and the audience is supposed to laugh because... why, exactly?
it's just so low brow.
what i'm trying to say is that there's a difference imo between referencing a bodily function because mermaids don't appear to have any way of eliminating waste and a character's personality totally supports asking such a question in the first minute of meeting someone and the joke has great comedic timing and sanji freaks out and tries to defend camie over it...
...versus "DUDE DID BROOK JUST FARTED?! xD"
You know damn well what I meant.
No, that's not how that would work at all. If Usopp was a swordsman, he'd unlock CoA. He only got CoO because he was a sniper. Retty much every melee fighter in the New World has CoA. Devil Fruits aren't available for everyone and there's only one of each. So if you have Law's fruit, you pretty much win at everything. Haki is a measure of how strong you are. If you don't have haki, you're just not good enough. Having a fruit is completely different. You can train to better your Haki but you can't train to control gravity. You need that specific fruit.
"DUDE DID A GUY IN A STRAWHAT ASK IF SOMETHING POOPS?! xD"-You, 2015
If Luffy can male poop jokes and you can say "it's his character" then you can say the same fucking thing for Brook. Fuck off with that special treatment.
You're just speculating, the fact is Usopp also fights in melee constantly, using a Hammer weapon, and has taken massive melee damage, and still has not unlocked CoA.
Zoro didn't even naturally unlock CoA, Mihawk helped him.
Not everyone gets to have Mihawk train them. Brooke is a swordsman and hasn't unlocked any form of haki.
This show died when it introduced haki
Whole show up until that point was about choice, luck, and passion
It always felt like Luffy was undermining the systems whenever he beat someone he "shouldn't have"
He was the underdog, bringing back chaos to a world that was stagnating from people who have "figured it all out"
But then Haki comes along as some off-screen training bullshit that just basically equates to "Oh if you meet X criteria and are important to the plot, here you go free literal plot armor, plot hole filler, and a way to deal with irrelevant fodder enemies"
three times pre-timeskip.
brook isn't making a joke, he's farting and burping. nope, huge difference. same with magellan, which is also stupid.
when it's in the anime, it's cringe-worthy. when it's in the manga, it's "eh, who cares".
>weekly "waaaaah haki destroyed da shooow"-post
>Sabo? This is Hack.
Wow, Oda seriously went and wrote himself into the story just like that?
>But then Haki comes along as some off-screen training bullshit that just basically equates to "Oh if you meet X criteria and are important to the plot, here you go free literal plot armor, plot hole filler, and a way to deal with irrelevant fodder enemies"
So much wrong with this sentence I don't even know where to begin
>flipping the image
what the fuck is wrong with you
How did it not
Haki is fucking boring; why can't the show make characters strong through decisions?
Haki is just chakra for one piece, taped on, not even that cool-
If they kept it at some vague undefined level (interactions Shanks had were explainable by having an intense "aura" or "presence"- literal definition of Haki) then why did they go about having the "I need 10 minutes to recharge my haki" bullshit.
It's fucking chakra- we're gonna end up with haki beams sooner or later when Oda draws himself into a steel box corner and thinks "If only Luffy had a power to melt through steel- I know! Haki could solve that too!"
>brook isn't making a joke, he's farting and burping. nope, huge difference
What part of "guy looks like a classy gentleman but acts in a vulgar manner" do you not understand? the joke is that his actions do not reflect his image, the farts are just one part of it. its fine if you dont find it funny, i dont particularly do either, but stop acting like theres nothing there.
> "I need 10 minutes to recharge my haki"
You make it sound like that has never happened before.
> Dress well
> Plays a major role in his crew's survival and well being
> His captain has faith in him and trust him
> Saved the crew several times
> Kicks a Yonkou's men like it's nothing
Sanji best SH confirmed.
That was a physical repercussion;
all we know about this vague haki shit is that it's some kind of spirit power tied into your determination and "presence."
Wow! How convenient; the character trait that through conscious decisions and extreme effort fought against the world and conventional power structures- now translates into literally a magical power.
It feels like they retconned everything about Luffy;
"Oh, all the times he did the impossible through sheer nit and grit? Nah m8, that was just haki, he was born with it like Naruto and his Nine Tails demon shit"
>It feels like they retconned everything about Luffy;
>"Oh, all the times he did the impossible through sheer nit and grit? Nah m8, that was just haki, he was born with it like Naruto and his Nine Tails demon shit"
You literally do not read the series, do you? The only haki he was born with was CoC, and that still contributed nothing to his past fights.
> Dress well
> Saved the crew several times
Niggah Zoro is a literral peasant. I love him don't get me wrong but he can't dress, he's retarded + I don't remember him playing a major role in the crew's survival.
Except when Kuma came to kill Luffy.
Without Sanji, they would be in prison or dead.
>Whole show up until that point was about choice, luck, and passion
That's what Haki is a physical representation of
Haki is a deus ex machina ability to give Luffy the power to fight against seemingly overpowered logia type DF users. Oda wrote himself to a corner. If 'you' actually read the series and had a fragment of intelligence you would be able to figure that out.
>Nah m8, that was just haki, he was born with it like Naruto and his Nine Tails demon shit"
First of all, CoA and CoO isn't a person specific thing. Second, what does Conquerors even really do right now besides take down a bunch of fodder? It just shows that you're born with the disposition to be a leader, which again isn't even a unique thing to Luffy and not even a necessity for people to become successful leaders in the first place.
>deus ex machina ability to give Luffy the power to fight against seemingly overpowered logia type DF users.
Yes, that's why Luffy, and only Luffy, will be able to one shot Akainu, Blackbeard, Kizaru, etc. now because of his unique inborn ex machina haki ability.
>Oda wrote himself to a corner.
How did he write himself into a corner when he found a good way to incorporate a new ability using instances in the past of his own fucking series? If you wanna see an author writing himself into a corner with no way out besides a massive asspull, read the last 5 chapters of Bleach.
The point is that they didn't need a physical representation
Even in its own universe, despite the countless physical forces of nature fighting society, they still mostly believe in spiritual shit, god, luck, character... All the people hoping, praying, wishing for something to happen.
When a distinct character trait that came and fought for those ideals; it wasn't because "wishing hard enough" would win the battle, it's the series of actions and decisions that mindset leads to winning the battle.
That is how Luffy beat Don Krieg, Crocodile, Lucci, and countless other cunts; he punched the fucking spikes. He got up when he was practically killed. He went beyond his 110%.
Equating that to this new chakra "fairy dust" shit takes those necessary steps/ decisions for characters to illustrate themselves out. It's now just a matter of who trained the most offscreen. I don't find that bad-ass.
So you're telling me that Luffy's haki is more unique and powerful than Shank's now? Nice goalpost moving, but your argument was that Luffy became a special snowflake because he learned haki, which isn't really special at all in the New World. And I'm not even arguing that Oda developed haki later in the series, since I think that's true too. But like >>134183685 said, he did it in a believable way, and way after that scene where Shanks specifically says he gave up his arm for the new generation.
>yfw he has no clue what a deus ex machina is
We got an idea once so he's smart ?
Yeah he does, I never said the opposite. But while Zoro saved crew members individually, Sanji saved the whole crew or a mjor part of the crew several times.
The Doffy fight was an arbitrary punching match where Luffy immediately had the upperhand when Doffy seemingly forgot that he had powers.
That + haki BS. "I need to charge my haki"- really? He needs to charge his willpower? Did he lose hope? Is he temporarily depressed? Is Haki some kind of focus thing?
It's more of a stamina thing since it seems to physically exhaust you. Doesn't that prove exactly why you're wrong about how haki is just "wishing" hard enough? It's an actual ability you need to train hard and get better at. Same as someone's raw strength/fighting ability and DF powers.
Zoro's speeches like his speech to Luffy about Usopp or his speech to Chopper do show some form of intelligence. Knowing what it takes for a pirate crew to function is extremely important, especially since they're the New World now. He's not the smartest person, but he's not as dumb as >>134183462 is saying.
Then aren't contradicting your original argument? If you're gonna move goalposts at least use a different argument that doesn't go against your first one and make you look like a complete dumbass. And besides, I already addressed your new argument in the same post.
That's not how this conversation started, bud.
I see no reason why you would jump in all of sudden with that argument unless you were trying to move goalposts.
>Other people too think haki is nonsense and it's detriment to the story you know.
I know, but why would you jump into that conversation if it has nothing to do with what you're talking about then? Either way, I addressed both arguments so whatever.
I don't quite understand what Kizaru's "Unclear Justice" is. Is he more "the right thing has to be determined on a case-by-case basis" or "whatever I think justice is is, even if it breaks the rules or is radical"?
>"the right thing has to be determined on a case-by-case basis" or "whatever I think justice is is, even if it breaks the rules or is radical"?
Neither, he just does it for the money. He's a WG dog.
>I don't quite understand what Kizaru's "Unclear Justice" is
>I don't quite understand
It's subtle, isn't it ?
sorry, i didnt mean to imply that Foxy was a Logia. I meant to say armament only lets you touch Logias, nothing else. That being said, Haki cannot nullify a fruit power, including paramecia.
hes still physically on par with the average Grand Line pirate captain. He doesn't have Luffy's G2 speed or the Soru Rokushiki, so he's still outclassed by many others with some sort of power. Basically, IF he can hit them with his beam, he golden- but that is if they don't dodge the beam or kill him first.
He may be Garp's right hand man, but there are other Vice Admirals holding a higher rank than he does who are very skilled swordsmen too. Such as Momonga, Onigumo, Stainless, etc
Try not to lose your cool my flimsy little friends
I'm here too, after all
He waits in a corner and forces people to come at him from only 1 direction.
He also doesn't reveal himself and tag teams people, he gets some dude that's a tank to distract other pirates while he slows them from the shadow and then stab stab stab.
Plus we know that mirrors reflect his beam meaning that he can use mirrors to his advantage as well.
I don't think you could make the rank of admiral without having a sense of justice agreeable to Navrine standards.
that's not really justice so much as getting old.
I'd let him protect me. There's something about him I can trust.
It was stated that the Humandrills were raised in an environment going through a war and that's why they are like that. I don't know where you got them learning Milhawk's techniques from.
>I don't think you could make the rank of admiral without having a sense of justice agreeable to Navrine standards
You could if you comply to every wish and whim of the WG/CD's. And unless you think the CD's have a sense of justice, I don't think it'd be that hard.
I'm not going to argue that preparation for a fight is invalid, but I do think there's a limit since home court and preparation can make a lot of differences between many matchups. After all Luffy was nowhere near stronger than Crocodile in Alabaster, but by knowing his water weakness he was able to defeat him at his stature at the time.
The image you used is a colourspread, not from a chapter. Oda draws characters with all kinds of things in those, including many of the Strawhats holding swords. Doesn't make them swordsmen though.
That's one reason why Film Z really weirded me out that they all brought weapons that were uncharacteristic of them. Granted, Luffy wanted to use a sword and shit in the coliseum, but Zoro or Sanji using guns just seemed uncharacteristic.
Here you go faggots. These threads are an abomination.
They did it in Strong World too
There was meaning behind it in Z too. They took the clothes and equipment of pirates who had given up their dreams because of the Neo Marines and wore them to the final confrontation.
But that's completely in Brook's character. Why defend Luffy's character but not allow part of Brook's character to be shown the same?
Are you quite literally mentally handicapped ? Where in that fucking page does it say that the Humandrills learned Mihawk's techniques ? Fuck, Oda even made a point to point out that the monkeys are scared shitless of the guy. Go fuck yourself, you twat.
They learned from the people who were waging war. Does this look like Mihawk's fighting style to you, you dense prick ?
>I don't know where you got them learning Milhawk's techniques from.
This. This is the anime filler part. That's where he got that shit from. I got so flustered over nothing. Sorry, anon.
>Zoro just has one big gun
and we did the same?
I see, you thought >>134185820
was refering to first part of your post, but he was refering to the last when you asked where that other guy got that idea from.
It's ok, anon. I'm stoned so I didn't even realize I asked a question in my original post.
You can thank evolution for that. From hunting to war, men were the ones tuned for the action and adventure role. Of course women can still have a basic grasp of concept, but their brains just aren't optimized for it.
Being rude and doing un-gentleman-ey things while being a gentleman is part of his character. I swear to god, if you twist this shit to somehow mean it's not part of his character then I don't know what to say.
>doesn't give two fucks about listening to strongest swordsman
>luffy sends vague time skip message in newspaper
>immediately decides to stay and begs his rival to train him
and people still question zoro's best bro status and loyalty to some bullshit reason like his traditions or code to follow/respect any strong person. Zoro is only as loyal as he is because it's Luffy.
the existence of kizaru makes weed intrinsically related to One Piece
Zoro does. Luffy knocks out a bunch of goons and Zoro's like ''Nah, dude, we need to interrogate them''. I know Zoro has his smart moments but that just felt so out of place. Considering Water 7, it really isn't that out of character but it just felt off to me.
The return of Foxy on an island which disables DF users due to sea-mist shrouding it. Doesn't make complete sense since Luffy would barely be able to move if it were the case, but we'll see.
Woah, woah, back the fuck up. Who questions Zoro's Best Bro status ? I know one guy was saying that Zoro/Luffy only had a Captain/Vice Captain relationship but he was full of shit. I have never encountered any one else question that.
Even best Strawhat-at-heart Bon-chan knew Zoro was best bro.
Are you fucking kidding me ? Alright bro. You win. Part of Brook's character is completely invalid because he doesn't fart in the middle of a fight. Sure. Whatwvwr you say, anon. You're the boss.
