Who /cried/ here
this is an anonymous board, I dont have to lie.
I started tearing up at this part, I did not expect to be so emotional.
Am I supposed to admire idiocy?
>here's this super monster that just wasted top ranked heroes like flies
>"I, incredibly weak retard, shall rush in to make absolutely no difference because justice or whatever!"
>Crying over anime
No one really does this r-right?
I shed two or three tears, even though I knew it was cheesy
Careful boy, you're going to cut yourself on that edge.
Mumen Rider saved the whole fucking shelter of people with his courage. Sure Genos, Snek and the others bought time as well but they all went in without knowing the Sea King's full strength and had hope that they could defeat him. Mumen Rider standing up and fighting a battle he can't win, he KNOWS he can't win, isn't stupid. It's what makes a true hero.
If everyone in the world was as jaded and selfish as you humanity would still be in the dark ages, because cowardice chokes progress.
Just watched this not 5 minutes ago, had tears in my eyes, finished the episode, watched that scene again and teared up a second time no regrets
Pic related is only time I came close.
>normalfags think this scene was for comedic effect
This is literally who you are.
>mfw Mumen raider theme start playing
The civilian deathtoll is pretty low unless my memory is failing me. Heroes never seem to die.
Crabrante said he killed people on his way to the kid, but shit like the meteor didn't kill anyone. Presumably, Hammerhead/Paradise Group killed some people when the building fell.
Mumen raider represents an idea. As he mentioned, he cant win versus such strong opponents, but doesnt mean he cannot fight.
Like they say, sometimes its not the destination that is worth the most, its the journey.
>scene appears in the webcomic
>everyone falls in love with the series
>scene appears in the Murata manga
>everyone falls in love with the series
>scene appears in the anime
>everyone falls in love with the series
And remember he actually joined the Hero Association so he could actually get the reputation he deserved for killing all those monster in the past, and yet he is giving that to others when they need it more.
A True Hero indeed.
When I read the manga I thought it was a quite dumb thing to do, and didn't care much.
But the anime made it look way more emotional (especially the music).
After this episode, I respect Mumen Rider as a true hero and not as a clown.
>I never watched Angel beats or dusk maiden
He makes me want to ride a bike. Does he have a mamachari bike or something else?
I've always wanted a mamachari.
Why don't they sell them in the US ;_; they're so nice and simple
People forget what made battle manga/shows popular in the first place.
Heroes never back off, they will always try their best and will go against all adversities even if they're greatly outclassed to save people without being an edgy emo kid that has issues.
>Rider is the one who sent Saitama the thank you letter
Seriously though can we talk about how cool Saitama is?
>One Pump Chump
>one punch manlet
this desu senpai
I really was not expecting it to be as powerful a scene as it was, and while I won't say that it topped the manga necessarily, it was just as good and definitely conveyed more emotion than the manga did
i literally shed tears. Rider exemplifies the struggle of the common man to do whats right and still do well in this world. Heroes rarely get paid for what they do, are often laughed at for being beaten, but they do it because of the drive to help others and do what is right. That entire scene was not only to exemplify the true strength of the hero but of the common man. We can all relate to this scene and that is why it is so powerful.
I feel like this lost impact a from the time restrictions, stuff happened a bit too fast to actually settle in and hit as hard as it did with the manga.
The thing with the people cheering him on was significantly less cliche in my head, too, but I guess that one's on me.
OPM is the
deconstruction of hero anime
If licenseless rider posted here you'd all tell him to give up and kill himself. Stop pretending to be "blunt" as opposed to "edgy".
quite the contrary, since this type of scene are kinda common on the type of serie one punch man is a trying to be a parody, but on those serie they make them too cheesy and usually the character saying it is someone that will "get" the power to fight or will be saved before being hit once more after he is done saying the speech.
But somehow Mumen Raider made it right.
>don't they sell them in the US
What? It's just a cruiser bike with a basket. I'm sure you can find one.
If you want to get into biking, though, you should look into buying a hybrid from a local bike shop.
Just don't buy a bike from a big box store, because it will undoubtedly be shit.
>no point in accomplishing shit if everyone around you hates you
Never do anything if people dont like you. Anon says it doesnt matter if you cure cancer if people hate your guys.
5'8 is average in america. In some eastern european countries it's higher than that, but still not 6 foot.
Madhouse is the best studio, I don't know how people haven't realized that yet.
Man, how deluded do you even have to be to have this kind of opinion on the heroes? Genos just blasted that monster through what seems to be at least 2 meters of concrete and you're gonna call him "weak"?
Also, hypothetical question: If genos kept the fight indoors and blasted sea king with fire, wouldnt sea king have dried up and got weaker?
Go to sleep, Bear. You know you want to.
Anime Japanese public are the biggest crowd of dirtbags in all creation. Why do you think all the monsters attack japan?
I mean look at symphogear where a little girl had her house vandalized just because she survived a monster attack.
should America even have an average?
its a melting pot made up of foreigners, whites, black, asains, latinos, they all came from different places, taking any race out will change the average.
People are douchebags even in real life, if /pol/ is anything to go by. Heck, just go out on the street and you'll meet at least two or three douches whose life mission is to ruin everyone else's day.
>Madhouse is the best studio, I don't know how people haven't realized that yet.
They helped with Takarajima, sure, but TMS is better.
I haven't read enough to say but at least they are convicted in their hate and have somewhat understandable reasoning. Anime japs flip flop from between being thankful and screaming for help in an instant.
I doubt there are that many people in real life that would call something that punched its way into a fallout shelter "not that strong looking" the instant its dead.
I was thinking the opposite. They butchered Parasyte. I didn't have any hope for OPM, but they're killing it.
What is Lupin?
Why does this character have anime concept art? My understanding is that she doesn't appear in the coming final arc for the anime.
>They butchered Parasyte
How so? I haven't read the manga, but I'm watching the anime now and it's very good. Not that I'm saying you're wrong I'm just curious what you mean here.
A few yea.
Oh okay I found it, I forgot about that scene in ep 6 because it seemed random and pointless.
She looks like she has much bigger tiddies in the pic I posted than in the anime scene.
Yup. If Lupin and Jigen were pro cyclists.
JUST STARTED WATCHING THIS SHIT NOW AFTER SLEEPING ALL DAY FROM WORK AND SHIT.
HOLY FUCK I TEARED UP AT THIS SHIT. MADHOUSE IS DOING A GREAT ADAPTATION.
MUSIC WAS ON POINT
THE SUBTLE USE OF QUALITY TO SAVE FOR THE GOOD STUFF
I HAD TO FUCKING PAUSE THE EPISODE AT 11:45 JUST TO MAKE THIS GOD DAMN POST.
I also got a qtπ gf today anons. Madhouse is making dreams come true.
That's not something an ally of justice should say.
if you payed attention, sea king came back pre rain form, so he either dreid up from the incineration, or maybe restoring the wound on his face ate up his moisture or something
he could have scouted out in every direction and found where he needed to go faster.
He already knew what City the threat was in.
it's justified considering how good Rider's scene is tho
That's understandable. He doesn't give a fuck so instead of forcing himself to run like a retard he decided to chill with fellow C-Class hero also he didn't even know where the fuck was happening.
>Not aspiring to be a hero of justice.
I actually kinda want to join the Navy just for that purpose, relief efforts during catastrophes and shit like that.
On top of the gr8 benefits and FREE college.
One of my instructors in JROTC told an anecdote about giving away all their pencils and writing utensils on board their ship to a school located in some pacific port they were currently stationed at since the school had no supply of writing utensils.
What the fuck, I knew it was coming
I fucking love Rider
I love this pic.
>Saitama and Genos being themselves
>King being a huge nerd
>Pri Pri Prisoner getting a good scope of Amai Mask
>Sonic being a moron like he always is
>Fubuki reading the catalog and Tatsumaki being confused as heck
>The furry hero in his natural habitat
>Mumen Rider being fawned by qts
Also, almost everyone is in it, even that one hero whose gender we could never determine.
>The civilian deathtoll is pretty low
Entire fucking cities are destroyed in the very first episode, your memory is indeed shit. Either that or you don't realize cities house people.
>taking it in the pooper is a "great benefit"
I'm gonna cry when I have to wait for next season.
Wasn't that for Mumen Rider?
But yes, it's common in East Asian cultures. There are a lot of generic terms for strangers you meet depending on their gender/age. Onii-chan is a term for children to address boys/men older than them but not their father's age.
I cried like a little bitch, twice. Saitama pretending to be a fraud got me a second time.
What if... Saitama would punch the earth out of anger?
WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT IS THIS A FUCKING EDIT?
What if Saitma punches reality so hard he opens a path to our reality?
>crying over a joke anime
The drama is for comedic effect. It's not meant to be taken seriously.
I hope the show has an everyone-dies ending, where the creators make fun of you people for caring so much.
while all countries have immigrants, america is the only (important) country to be made up of only 9.7 percent native americans.
china is mostly native chinese
germany is mostly native germans
russia is mostly native russians
you get the point
It's the same kid who Mumen Rider helped retrieved his balloon from ep 4, nice touch there Madhouse
I wish he would punch time, so he'd can send it back and relive those moments with my ex.
no you don't anon
you probably have graduation goggles
and only want to get back because life seems easier in retrospect
but fuck it all anon its to move forward
>fuck it all anon its to move forward
After 3 years, I guess so. She probably already did.
Showa Era Riders are for the most part cyborgs / human experiments.
Heisei Era Riders have various origins for their powers ranging from mystic to crazy science fiction shit to both.
fuck you, making me look it up to prove you wrong
is the little thing that make it so good
Anon why do you do this to yourself
its time to wake up
I don't even know anymore.
On a side note, I'm really worried that Saitama is gonna get pissed off at the people roasting him.
But they do, no one honestly counts the Native Americans as your native population because you already killed them. It's like saying Australia is more diverse because Abos are only 3% of thei population. For all intents and purposes, white British people are your native population.
Amai Mask wouldn't even want to touch him, let alone fight against him.
Though, I'm pretty sure Pri-chan would train some wrestling submission moves especially for this occasion.
>Licenseless and Nozaki have the same VA
>qt sidekick voiced by Ari Ozawa
>For all intents and purposes, white British people are your native population.
you mean white Germans? English ancestry is less common that German, Irish, or African-Americans in the US.
Yes, and ?
Thats one of the reason why i never watch anime with company.
Never know when a scene will make you cry.
What subs are the best for OPM?
I've just been going HorribleSubs due to upload speed but I've been getting weekend shifts so I usually end up watching episodes a few days later.
One day we will look back and smile at those moments when we first met, and knew that we were going to be great friends.
Oh come on now, how could having a cute female sidekick go wrong?
look. britian is made up of british people, as far back as we know, british people have lived there.
america Was Made Up Of Natives, but when the others came here it wasent just british whites, it was german whites, french whites, spanish, russian, polish, swedish, ittalians, everyone came here
what are you even trying to say???
Australia's average height should be the abos, as everyone else is not truly austrialian, they came from other places, it doesent matter if they now make up the majority, or if we call them australians, they all came from different places.
japanese came from Asia , they were the first ones on the island, so they get to be "Japanese", they are not all immigrants like America or Australia
>tfw Rider comes with his bike
>bike hits king on the back
>not even a scratch
>Mumen Rider gets a qt sidekick
>She kicks butt
>Turns out she kicks way more butt than him
>Turns out she only got Class C because she was too lazy to actually care about her tests and she's actually worthy of at least Class A
>She's promoted and leaves Mumen Rider behind
>In the end, goes for Amai Mask and Mumen is keked big time
Ah, the ways it could go wrong...
Tatsumaki cares about the common man a lot more than you'd think, actually.
Not that anon but they changed a lot of things, mostly character designs (Shinichi never had glasses in the manga for example) and the time period of when the story takes place. The manga is pretty old (1989 - 1995) and it just got adapted in 2014, so Madhouse decided to 'modernize' it. The general story is still the same and it follows the manga relatively well, but small things like computers, cell phones, tablets etc. are added.
Most of the complaints are only valid in like the first three episodes (changing or rearranging of scenes, dubstep in the OST) but after episode 5 it follows the manga pretty much exactly.
I feel the adaptation gets too much hate. It starts off a bit shaky but it finds its footing very quickly.
"Japanese" are mostly the descendants of Korean and Chinese who displaced aboriginal tribes like the Ainu and Ryukyu people. The only difference between America and Japan is that the Japanese were united under a single ruler and spent a couple hundred years in isolation.
>america Was Made Up Of Natives
Wrong, the European Clovis people where in the Americas first, the "natives" (Siberian-Americans) killed them all off.
>[japanese] were the first ones on the island
Wrong again. The Ainu were on the Japanese archipelago long before the Japanese.
He's too good for this shithole anyway, he doesn't have to post on an imageboard about his dreams because he actually goes out and puts his life on the line living them every day. That's exactly why you'll never be best girl, fag.
Who knows maybe I'll marry a cute girl who likes animes/vidya and enjoys preparing meals.
Yeah, these clowns don't know anything about Kamen Rider. There's no way he could have a girlfriend, that'd be ridiculous.
Mumen is the only hero who got 10/10 on sense of justice in the databook other than King who had all stats maxed out.
The S class generally have a pretty high sense of justice score. Tats is the same as Bang and Genos. Her sister, not so much.
>mostly the descendants of Korean and Chinese
Then why is there no trace of Chinese or Korean in the Japanese Islands prior to Japan coming under Chinese imperial influence? 100% Japonic speakers and zero Chinese or Korean
Yeah, there is also the part in the Garou arc when she gave everyone shit except for King because she thought he went out of his way to protect the ugly kid. She's got ego problems, but I can't say she isn't a hero.
It's been going JUSTICE and I am currently JUSTICE how the main character JUSTICE and his relation to JUSTICE all around, the newer episodes are JUSTICE compared to the first three. It's hitting its JUSTICE and is a JUSTICE show now.
Don't forget she went out of her way to make sure none of the S-Class heroes would be harmed by her pulling the HQ out of the underground, and told Genos to run away because she didn't want him to get needlessly killed.
Tatsu is surprisingly nice when she can be, she's just also entirely batshit insane in other subjects, mostly her sister.
>Couldn't help but burst into treats
I'm sorry but I burst out laughing at this
i hate her so much. just look at her
>that feeling of existing rather then living
>waking up day after day thinking today will be better
I actually have a childhood friend who would fit the description but have never tried anything out of spite/pride towards my parents that used to tease me about ending up with her.
Nah, she's just a very, very, very, very protective big sister.
One is pretty incredible, to make a violent gay rapist a genuinely sympathetic and admirable character despite his massive flaws.
But he'll be okay. He'll learn from the experience.
Grocery shopping lady still the best background girl
It's just build at this point, to when Jiro goes rouge and we still haven't gotten a clear answer on what caused him to go rogue yet, but hopefully we will soon. Other than that it's pretty entertaining.
Bitch tears and raging JUSTICE boner. Read the manga beforehand, but the music makes it so much more potent.
fubuki's overrated, i mean her personality is interesting and everything but once she realize saitama's power her role just dwindles down to the typical weak girl/princess-for-rescue or decor for saitama's house.
>tl;dr shes a fagget
here is an easier way to explain anon.
>if she see someone stronger than her
>she becomes a fagget
>would try to suck their dick like a slut
I read the webcomic it's still not finised about her story fagget
she's clearly based hetero fampai
why would I read ones? his art is garbage.
OPMfags will defend this
>Because she is strong in anti-telekinesis.
So? Psychos outclassed her by a lot.
If you consider her a fagget for being scared of her sister, I'd say you have some messed up standards.
