This shit is getting better and better.
And Ginew is confirmed to show up on the next episode
I just read a bit of the new Super chapter and I feel like we're on ridiculous territory. Fat Beerus fully just blew up a planet with a kick.
I feel like we've made jokes about shit like this.
WHAT THE FUCK
SINCE WHEN DOES BULMA HAVE AN ONEE-CHAN?
I downloaded it a while ago from somewhere that's probably been taken down by now. Try reverse image searching this picture.
Dragon Ball (Akira Toriyama)
Dragon Ball Full Color - Saiyan Arc (Akira Toriyama)
Jaco the Galactic Patrolman (Akira Toriyama)
Dragon Ball Super
Captain Ginyu is clearly shown on Earth. We even see Bulma being surprised he's on Earth and she kicks him into the air. Later we see Ginyu frog at Capsule corp.
I also think we see Ginyu frog on top of Yamcha's head when he gets wished back and falls into the fountain.
Wow so I had no idea where Jaco came from, but now I do.
>that krillin bullying until he realizes hes fighting a crew of raditz tier plebs and finally feels like he has power
>Gohan getting absolutely decimated
for the love of god make him get back to training after this to protect his daughter instead of being this nerd fuck
>Gotenks is showing up
I wasn't expecting DBS to get to the point where I'm actually hyped for it
I was really expecting Toei to shit on Krillin completely like they always do but they turned his doubt into a great moment.
I'm still not sure if I prefer this over the movie, but at least Sorbet gets to do something, and Gohan getting knocked out wasn't bullshit.
Ok, we get it, Freeza is special and can get absurdly strong in no time, but how about Tagoma? Did he really go from Zarbon-tier to fucking Buu-tier in only 4 months just because he got his ass beaten by Freeza a million times? It probably wasn't even any kind of special training, since Freeza has no training experience. Just training with someone strong makes you stronger?
I meant new characters, as in, never seen before.
Yes, that applies to real life as well. If you get used to taking a strong guy's punch, then you'll build up a higher pain tolerance faster.
Look up shocking your muscles, and you'll see it's a very valid way to get stronger.
If you don't like the more then the movie there is no fucking helping you. Seriously, what the fuck man? The show goes into more detail and has more fun and action then the movies. Stop being a cynical manchild.
Maybe when the Champa arc starts they will give DBS the Precure treatment since it's new content.
See this post from this thread
>Get keked bitch. Fuck powerlevels and fuck Gohan. Who fucking cares? Tagoma trained with Frieza and now he's a threat. You are just showing your autism by being all
> a goddamn dick you cocksmoking faggot.
there are changes here and there from the movie, not all necessarily better, just drawn out more. So I'm pretty indifferent to the whole thing.
The RoF portion has been MUCH better than the BoG portion, though I'm still on the fence, mainly because RoF had way better fight choreography.
Though in terms of story, the Super is handling RoF much better, Goten and Trunks feeling the ki and heading into battle makes sense.
Stop caring about
>OMG Tagoma is too stronk for 4 munths of training
Tagoma is a threat. It is a catalyst for a serious fight and there we go. Like, just move the fuck on and enjoy the fucking action.
MAN THESE FUCKING RETARDS.
Broly is not canon, Tori gives no shits about characters not created by himself.
>DBZ movie villain will resurrect
>DBS new saga is comming
>DBS new tournament
Oodles better. Seriously, I don't know why anyone is upset. Beerus v. Goku is epic and has great choreography and tactics. The SoL episodes are spot on. And Resurrection F arc looks to be shaping up in a completely different direction the the movie. This is all new stuff. Come back on board.
>implying a DBZ fan stopped watching Super because reasons
You fool nobody anon.
honestly I did, mostly because I missed one week's episode and then fell too far behind to continue watching. the current shit seems to be shaping up well. probably gonna try to catch up this week before next episode.
Porunga must not have considered Ginyu very evil.
so much fan service going on this episode and next.
there are hints to gohans potential once again being unlocked during this episode and in the latest manga chapter.
the hype is too much. they made the best decision going into revival of F for the anime but not the manga aswell, that way it can be canon + filler for manga at the same time. they are handling this series correctly, i am no longer worried.
Meh, when are we going to get to the Champa arc?
>Get keked bitch. Fuck powerlevels and fuck Gohan. Who fucking cares? Tagoma trained with Frieza and now he's a threat. You are just showing your autism by being all
DBZ fans would defend fucking anything.
You know what, I wish an actual mary sue would show up in this series and beat up Goku and Vegeta and see you guys pop off with this bullshit anyway.
Not a Mary sue, but Beerus did exactly that.
I'm all on board with this anon. I'm tired of everyone circle jerking over power levels or "opponents not being realistic threats". They are threat because the characters perceive them as a threat. It's a fucking simple show. Stop over analyzing shit.
At least he got fleshed out in this episode. He was probably about to one shot that guy like in the movie.
And this time, he was actually cheap shotted and actually off guard, unlike Freeza in the movie who was literally right in front of him. It fucking caught me off guard. I was not expecting that.
And it was more dramatic this time around.
I'm anxious to see SSJ Gohan next episode.
What are you talking about? The pacing is top notch and the show is moving along. Fights are meaty with plenty of attacks, lore, and not much screaming downtime between attacks. Also Beerus and Whis are awesome fucking character designs.
What the fuck do you retards want?
i'm watching revival of f right now
what the fuck happened to toei? how was the animation in dbz god tier
inb4 that trunks/cell tweencompared to this? they just don't care anymore or were key people fired?
Yeah, seriously. Gohan wasn't just "one shotted". He was taken out like Goku was taken out in like the 5th episode of DBZ. By surprise and because Tagoma didn't give a shit about killing his own teammate to kill Gohan.
The reason is solid. It is worth killing his ally to kill to strongest opposing fighter. He just didn't count on the Senzu bean. Still though, it's not like Gohan took some stupid hit. These characters are not invincible. Strategy is going to play a part in these fights.
What are you talking about? The animation is amazing in Super. Are you some super salty faggot neckbeard who can't just enjoy a fucking show if the production value isn't the same as an hour and a half multimillion dollar movie?
I don't get how you can say that when he was brought down out of left field by an awesome and badass move. You must be some neckbeard self inserting Gohanfag to be upset at Gohan being brought down in a badass way like that.
>how was the animation in dbz god tier
Not at all. The surprise attack I don't have any real problems with and I actually thought it was a great twist compared to the movie.
Its the constant pussyfooting by Gohan and the rest of the fighters in not doing any killing at all.
I wish they would give Yamcha some time to shine as well. If you accept filler, he's fought the Ginyu Force and won, and I'm pretty sure managed to at least briefly stalemate against a Cell Jr.
why the fuck are you shilling so hard
super has objectively worse animation than the movie, and the movies animation is dogshit
for the most part yes, all of the fights were.
Yeah, let's give the guy who literally got kucked by Vegeta more time to fight. Could Yamcha make triangles into fucking squares? No? So he should sit the fuck back and shut the fuck up. He hasn't been relevant since being killed by a goddamn Saibaman.
I don't know, I'd be on board with the idea of throwing away the concept of consistency in power if it actually meant that the other characters got to do anything other than getting slapped around.
The problem is that the series itself already went well out of the way of trying to set up this kind of consistency years ago, and just tossing it out. Freeza was actually the strongest in the universe, and there aren't any more space adventures because he's dead and now Super Saiyan's exist, meaning there's no credible threat out there
Cell was created in a lab on earth, based on all of the strongest characters in the series
Buu was sealed away years ago, hidden underground.
None of these characters come from the same area or background. just to avoid that "but wait, there's another guy!"
This series has had years and upon years of building up power that we have several forms of what used to be a saiyan legend just because C needs to be as powerful as C or more powerful than B. Even with the actual power level numbers dropped, we get an idea of who is stronger than who just by whatever form they've taken on.
To show how serious the androids are, we have Trunks show up and literally cut Freeza into pieces.
Piccolo goes to fuse to Kami and takes on 17, while 18 had just finished breaking Vegeta's arm a few days ago.
It's not okay if we're okay with throwing it out to have a character show up just so the B-Team do the ol' ye jobbing routine again, and then bring up those powerlevels again to explain why we can't have anyone in the jobber squad do anything other than slap mooks around, and settle for them being in slice of life scenes.
Obviously the animation is worse then the movie. It's a movie.
>movie's animation is dogshit
HOLY SHIT YOU EXPECT ME TO FALL FOR THAT BAIT ANON
Try harder you neckbeard lace curtain cocksmoking faggot. Seriously. Stop smelling your own farts because you must be high off your own fermenting feces if you think that the fight animations in Super OR the movies are bad.
I don't get why there are so many Gohan haters.
If you hate him now because you're a Gohan fan, OK. But I don't get why Gohan is getting JUST threads, and when Goku got hit with this in the movie (not even by a fighter, BY A GUN), the only thing being talked about was him losing to Superman.
At least this was well written and doesn't necessarily say that Gohan has become THAT weak. He's still stronger than Piccolo (from the sounds of it, possibly even without going Super Saiyan as they call him the strongest before he even showed he could transform).
You can never make more than 50% of DBZ fans happy at any one time.
This is coming from a guy who has Gohan at #1 on his list of most beloved characters. This episode was WAY better than what happened in the movie and is acceptable.
What will make me happy is if he beats this fucking guy in the next episode and gets into the third tournament in the 3rd Arc.
Like he was talking about in this episode, you can write him as fighting for his daughter and his family. He can be a nerd AND part time fighter who isn't a fucking knucklehead like Goku and Vegeta who literally don't do anything else.
>a TV show has worse animation than a movie
>and the movies animation is dogshit
>for the most part yes, all of the fights were.
It got good every once in a while, but was average for the most part. Same as Super.
He's talking about fast paced action....
Impact of the hits, craters exposing core of planets, fighting in suns, black holes, destroying solar systems, galaxies, universes just from transformations, impact of fights, blinding punches and kicks. Dodging so fast it looks like 70 gokus on the screen. Where's that action like kenshiros 1000 cracked fist lol?
At this point, cracking each knuckle while balling up their fist should destroy planets.
They should literally be able to move planets with their minds and crush goes lol.
I'm less of a Gohan hater but more of a Gohanfag hater because Gohanfags literally are hyper-ventilating when he goes down to an enemy. It's fucking annoying, especially when he was taking out in a cool and surprising way.
I also didn't mind Goku being shot in the chest by a sneak attack. I like the idea that they could be brought down by the lowest of the low. That means if Goku can die to Sorbet, Frieza could die to Krillin.
That has HUGE implications.
But that would be OP as fuck. The addressed the fact the Goku and Beerus' clash could destroy the universe by having them match each other's attacks perfectly. Good way to explain that. Awesome. I'm on board; let's move on with the fight.
People get too hung up on shit and can't enjoy an action anime like it SHOULD be enjoyed. Also, we have only have one real fight so far between two power opponents. We are literally 21 episodes in.
People need to calm the fuck down.
>no more super fast punch and kick flurries
>no extreme display of collateral damage
>no smooth flow of moves between combatants
Where are the people who worked on Precure when you need them?
Krillin cut off Freeza's tail. Goku got hurt by a hit to the head with a rock. Krillin shot a hole through Vegeta when he lowered his ki. Stuff like that has always been canon.
It's just the autists on /a/ who bitch about it.
I have no problem with Gohan getting a hole through his stomach. It caught me off guard. The writers did their job.
To me, there's no problem with Gohan losing (he lost ALL THE TIME in DBZ). The difference is that that was the whole point. It was good writing, Gohan never being able to help his friends and family, having all that frustration and desperation boil up inside him.
I have no problem with Gohan losing so long as it leads somewhere.
One of the things they first mentioned about DBZ Super is that they were going to try to give Vegeta more focus and have him doing less jobbing, even though. he's probably had more fights and victories than the main character of the series. People complained about him being the number two guy, well it's a pretty comfortable position for the most part, and outside of the movies, if he's getting beaten up, nobody else really stands a chance anyway, and even with those movies those are less than more.
The only fight that "mattered" that Goku won by himself was in DBZ against Freeza. Goku was hardly any more effective than him, even in the Buu Saga.
But now that Vegeta is safely out of that zone, now the idea is that everyone else just has to settle for the ol' rotuine of getting punched in the face by villains, and to be glad that the series is even giving them any time in a slice of life scene. I'm sure people wouldn't be happy if Vegeta's only other moments of him cooking eggs was him getting blasted by Freeza again.
You know who one of my favorite characters is? Tao Pai Pai.
But you know what, I wouldn't want to see Tao Pai Pai beating the shit out of Piccolo unless there's a really, really, REALLY good explanation or something out of a video game.
People run with the "it's a gag series!" excuse a bit too hard, even though, Dragonball, where it had told jokes like Jackie Chun blowing up the moon instead of Goku had some sort of consistency within itself.
I don't like being told to accept that it's okay for random fuckhead to beat the shit out of Piccolo, even though it makes no sense, while the idea of someone doing that to Goku and now Vegeta is completely unacceptable.
Literally a bigger fisherman then Captain fucking Ahab.
>this is considered good animation
are you kidding? the dbz (tv series mind you, not a movie or ova) goku vs frieza fight when he had first turned final form were better animated than any piece of this entire movie.
are you people fucking blind?
you must be legit retarded. BoG and Revival of F was praised for its animation quality. its ONLY criticism was over use of CGI in certain parts in BoG, which it toned down for in revival of f.
You have to understand that the only things these people watch are One Piece, Naruto, Bleach, and Dragonball. With that low of a bar being set, that animation must seem godly.
>foot wraps around that guys neck at head level without gohan moving
>level 1 shading
>ctrl+t dragging at 0:07
>gohan animated worse than denpa kyoushi
this has to be b8, have you people seen less than 20 anime in your entire lives?
if these aren't the same person than they are all from reddit at the bare minimum
Well you'd miss out on some of the fun of things like Vegeta's interaction with his family members, Gohans transformation into jobber status, fusion like Gotenks, Majin Buu in general, Mr. Satan character development, etc.
I'd say you should watch the Kai versions of both Cell Saga and Buu Saga.
Kai Buu Saga is roughly 50 episodes and Kai Cell Saga even shorter than that.
>the dbz goku vs frieza fight when he had first turned final form were better animated than any piece of this entire movie.
Please refer to >>134156774
>told exactly where in the series to look
>jump ahead to the end of the fight where he had been final form for 20 episodes already
Four of those posts you mentioned are from me. The others are from others who agree that your pants on head fucking retarded.
>seen less than 20 anime in your entire lives
WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU COMPARING THIS SHOW TO?
Seriously. The movie's animation and the shows animation is perfectly fine and is better in my opinion then the majority of DBZ. You can't compare this show to come 16 episode series like Akame ga Kill, Kill la Kill, Claymore, etc.
They have more money to spend per episode and the studio is only making THAT anime at a time. Toei is making multiple anime. Seriously. Do you bitch about One Piece as much as Super? Because people love One Piece and it looks like dog shit compared to Super.
>I'm less of a Gohan hater but more of a Gohanfag hater because Gohanfags literally are hyper-ventilating when he goes down to an enemy. It's fucking annoying, especially when he was taking out in a cool and surprising way.
Gohan getting beaten up isn't something alien to this series. Outside of the rare occasion of him powering up every now and then to challenge X foe, it took up until Cell for Gohan to come out the victor in a fight that actually mattered.
He got his neck broken by Recoome, you don't see people bitching about that. They already established that not even Vegeta could stand up to him, we knew he was going to lose, but it made for half-decent dramatic tension of him trying anyway. Gohan vs Vegeta is one of my favorite fights in the series, even though against an injured Vegeta, he didn't stand a chance. Vegeta was going to finish him off until Krillin threw the Spirit Bomb at him.
He gets blasted by Fat Buu so hard that everyone thought he was fucking dead.
Gohan and loss aren't strangers.
I mean, I wasn't happy wih Gohan losing to Super Buu, but it at least acknowledges the idea that Buu using what little brain power he has to get the upperhand, even if it's just to extend the series for a bit longer.. If you want to talk about a "clever loss", then there you go.
The problem is that Gohan already made his transition from kind-of-useful support into a fighter in his own right, and now specifically because they don't know else what to do with him, it's back to the bus with the jobber squad. This is literally what GT was doing to everyone else, but somehow this is special and different, and if you don't like it, you're just a fan of the big mary sue Gohan.
I wasn't expecting Gohan to take down Freeza back then, and I'm not expecting it now. I just want him to be able to do SOMETHING sand now me asking for something that wouldn't have been alien in the Namek era is asking for too much.
Because it doesn't matter what they do anymore, because they'll get beat up by the guy in one or two hits anyway.
This what GT did, but, hey, it's Super, so it's better.
This is her mother.
When the lady is 60 years old.
And this is her mother trying to get in Goku's pants.
>no more super fast punch and kick flurries
>no smooth flow of moves between combatants
So you're just not watching this show at all right? That was pretty much all the last couple of episodes of the Goku/Beerus fight
Barely more than a thumbnail, but this is how she looked in Battle of Gods, apparently.
Here ya go. Not bad for a lady in her 70s.
Actually, there's a noticeable difference between Goku when he's 18 and when he's in his 20s and 30s. Goku does get older, but he stays in his "20s" look for most of the rest of his life.
>Tagome dies in vacuum of Space in movie
>Tagome is vital plot device overall several episodes in Super
I'm sure it's no coincidence Hijikata voices Tagoma.
Yeah, makes sense. Ginyu was one of the few aliens who knew how to control Ki. Only reason he failed with Goku's body was because Goku was already a bigger KI master than Ginyu. Tagoma probably isn't.
>tortured to become edgy
>"you need to be cold to succeed"
>"im the strongest"
>defeating 4 people at the same time with his 4 limbs
>chopping arms off
Literal generic edgelord
No everyone else has become much weaker because of peace time. Gohan wouldn't have a chance of beating Cell, and I don't even think Piccolo could either. The only two people who have consistantly trained are Goku and Vegeta.
All the humans are visibly aged in the epilogue.
those Vegeta family sequences at the beginning would've been made better and his docility much more believable if his daughter was there. Why did Toriyama forget her? If anything Id rather her turn out like loli Bulma in that manga rather than another generic fighter who holds the line until Goku arrives.
That demon looking guy who got killed by Tagoma really disappointed me in terms of character design. He looks so plain. I kept comparing him to Dabura, and it made me realize all of Super's designs are a bit of a let down.
Tagoma is okay though.
>Their calendar could be faster than ours.
The more I think about Dragon Ball characters and how they age, this would probably be the case. In fact, it'd explain why Marron is still called a baby despite being close to ten years old
Taghoma used to be weak, but he was used as Freeza's punching back for his training, and regenerated each day from near death. Somehow that has resulted in him becoming a complete sadist and also becoming as strong as Gohan now.
Ah, makes sense.
I would imagine Freeza's 2 right-hand men would have some stories about their strength going around. Also wouldn't be hard to gauge their strength, since everyone in their army has a scouter.
its not that hes stronger than cell, its that everyone else, specifically and especially gohan, got weaker cuz jobber status. gohan is actually weaker than he was in the cell saga, having LOST his ability to go SSJ2, let alone losing his mystic form.
Bra seemed older than Pan in GT and was said to be older than her in the GT guidebook, but in the manga it's never said how old she is. All we know is Pan is 4 and Bra is old enough to talk.
at the end of of Z during the uub tournament pan was a toddler who could barely talk. bra was twice the size of pan and could talk better. bra is older than pan by atleast 1 year.
Goku went from a BP of like 120k base to a BP of 3 million base due to a zenkai in the course of a single day. I think Tagoma whos race is unknown and thus could be capable of literally anything reaching Buu Tier power by being a training partner with Frieza who has reached God Level while also being a prodigy means that yeah, Tagoma reaching Buu Tier in 4 months isn't THAT shocking or crazy.
So, Gohan not go to this Universe tournament? But Piccolo? But he is now the weakest among Goku, Vegeta, Buu, Gohan.
even if goku wanted him to go chi chi would have through a fit and gohan probably would have made some excuse of how busy he is in order to not go. videl would be indifferent as she always have tho.
only way gohan gets involved in fights is if the world is in danger and he literally has no choice.
super already established it can retconn entire movies and make them canon. they can do the same for brolly. if tory REALLY wants to make broly canon then he can do so very easily and it would make sense. the movies would just be completely ignored and his origin would be established within the manga/anime.
not at all impossible.
gohan literally said in the last episode that they were in the way of his child from growing up in a peaceful world.
that alone should be a red flag that theres never going to be a peaceful world for his child. He should at least keep up training so he can keep his child safe. That is the real reason im pissed about gohans decline
Of course, SSGSS Golden Cell would stomp Beerus.
>using CG for fucking background characters
>shitty 30 fps CG that animates as bad as rotoscoped shit
>using shitty low budget CG on a fucking movie
Fuck modern chink animation.
they can bring in timecop trunks and QT kai, but fuck them if they bring over this generic "muh OC donut steal" template. i cringed so hard i almost never even tried out xenoverse when I saw this sloppy mishmash of characters.
Roshi trained off screen, he's always been doing that.
During the 22nd Tournament he has inner monologue how he's going to wreck Goku because he's been training super hard in secret.
You do realize you can make genuinely original looking characters right? Each race has like 6 unique outfits that aren't shared and unique facial features so it's very easy to make a custom character that doesn't look like a knockoff.
>Watch newest episode
>All the characters use their signature attacks
>Except Gohan who just does generic energy blast spam
>Gohan doesn't even get beaten by Freeza this time
>By some random grunt whose only above Ginyu force level
Hahahaha, someone must really fucking hate Gohan.
YOU SAW FREEZA ON NAMEK
How long until we find out Pan isn't actually Gohans daughter and she was cheating on him with Goten/Trunks?
Gohan gets shit on so much if something like this doesn't happen I'd be surprised.
what would happen if ginyu switches minds with gotenks and time runs out?
I see two things happening, if the body change does works with a fusion.
1. Ginyu (Gotenks) splits after 30 min into part of Ginyu mind (Goten) and part of Ginyu mind 2 (Trunks) and Gotenks (Ginyu) exists like that forever or
2. Ginyu (Gotenks) exists like that forever and Gotenks (Ginyu) eventually splits into Goten (New Ginyu body) and Trunks (New Ginyu Body)
It's pretty much a question of what does the fusion splits is it Gotenks soul/mind or Gotenks body? or maybe its both, in that case we would get both a Goten/Trunks with Ginyu minds and two new ginyus with goten and trunks mind in them.
so I know power levels are complete bullshit and shit, but Roshi can not be strong enough to fight even 2nd rate Frieza soldiers, right? He fought goku as a kid to a near standstill, and since then hasn't gained any incredible leap in strength or skill, yet he can still fight enemies at least as strong as Raditz?
The way fusion is usually described in DB is that an entirely new individual is born from it. So the way I see it Ginyu is essentially the new Gotenks but Goten and Trunks, after the split would still be the same, it's just when they fuse they become Ginyu.
That would be pretty interesting, fuse and be super powerful but it's Ginyu on charge, and Gotenks would exist as a z-fighter in Ginyu body, he could maybe learn body change and switch back.
I'm seriously starting to think Toriyama's (or whoever is just salty about Dragon Ball Multiverse, so now he's blatantly stealing shit from them because he knows they can't don't anything about it.
According to current db training logic Roshi could have asked Kuririn to spar once in a while giving him a huge increase since Kuririn is so strong, besides Roshi had a high ass BP equal to Ten and Goku before, it's not like he got no potential.
Also 2nd rate Freeza soldiers are weaker than Raditz, remember Kuririn and Gohan one shotted two guys like them in Namek at 1.500 BP (Exact Raditz BP) and Namek Warriors are just 3.000 and were winning against them too.
I'd say every unnamed freeza soldier are weaklings that don't even surpass 1.000 some even need a Ki gun
To correct you all.
You've got Dragon Clan and Warrior Type Namekians.
Dragon Clan use magic, Warrior Type fight, obviously.
Dende is Dragon Clan.
Piccolo is Warrior Type.
I hope the new Super series could answer all those shit that was left out years ago;I
s Vegito stronger than Gogeta? I somehow prefer Gogeta because he's edgier and the design is cooler than Vegito
Yeah Nameless was both Dragon Clan and Warrior Type.
Piccolo however is still Warrior Type since Kami only served as powerup instead of proper merge because Piccolo refused to give up his personality.
Supposedly the Goku of Dragon race. A genius, being left out in some backward planet because of the impending disaster of his own.
I still think the term namekian refer specifically to those niggers that Guru gave birth to.
1. Superman and his backstory came first
2. Him being Gohan doesn't even make sense.
Seriously I don't even like DC outside of Batman TAS and Arkham games but you just went full retard.
>used to be so kick ass
Everyone conveniently forgets that Gohan DOES NOT kick ANY ass 90% of the time.
Nappa/Vegeta: Misses his chance to attack Nappa; Bounces back GOKU'S spirit bomb fired by KRILLIN; Accidentally crushes Vegeta after turning into an Oozaru
Namek: Beats up a bunch of jobbers; Is severely wounded by Reccome; Can't even fight Goku-Ginyu; Flies into autismo rage against Freeza that barely hurts him
Androids: Nothing. He does nothing for most of the Saga
Cell: Fights him and succeeds (After getting his ass kicked for most of said fight and flying, once again, into an autismo rage)
Dabura: Struggles to beat a guy he could've beaten in one of his rage induced benders
Buu: Succeeds for a bit, but Trunks and Goten literally ruin everything. I'll give him credit though, this is the only fight where he's fighting and winning based purely on his abilities and skills and not because he's angry
No. Gohan is a jobber. Either stop bitching or stop watching.
People need to understand this.
18 started as stronger then Gohan to begin with. Hell she almost killed Vegeta.
>occupies the mind of children
You mean Bulma and 18's tits.
Get bent. Gohan is the new Yamcha and I love every minute of it. Krillin gets more love then Gohan. On the real, at least Gohan got taken out in a surprising and badass way in Super.
Nigga he hasn't used Masenko since Namek.
Salt of the Earth over here.
Gohan only gets strong when he gets pissed. He doesn't have that fire inside him anymore. When he's not pissed, he is a softy.
This actually puts a lot into perspective. Fuck Gohan, he's always been a bitch.
Or everyone is severely underpowered right now which would make sense and do what Toriyama wants which is to make the power levels more or less equal. The only superpowered OP fights will be Vegeta and Goku. Move on with your life cocksmoker and enjoy the show.
None of the fighters bar Roshi would be weak enough to lose to a Frieza soldier at this point, and that goes for Ginyu too. No matter how soft they've gotten during peace time, those kinds of enemies would still be fodder. The fact that it takes SSJ Gotenks to take him on proves that Tagoma is at the very least SPC level.
so.. when goku started looking for the dragon balls he was 14 and he looked like this
But goten is like 7 years old and he looks like this too
I guess goku was just very chubby and tiny as a kid
i wonder if we will get to see a new design for adult goten in super
Nope, he's explicitly NOT Dragon type since the Dragon Balls and Shen Long died the second he fused with Kami, since it wasn't a fusion but rather absorption from Piccolo's side. They didn't merge, he "ate" Kami for a powerup.
Also nope, Kami explicitly says both Raditz and Goku went to afterlife while everyone being killed by Demon Clan are forever trapped in limbo and can never move on until the Demon who killed them dies. That didn't happen to Goku or Raditz meaning he was no longer Demon by that point.
In DBZ, after Goku dies and Piccolo takes Gohan.
Mr. Popo and Kami are talking about Piccolo not feeling so evil anymore and Kami speculates it's because Piccolo predicts he will most likely die in the fight with Saiyans and wants to leave some legacy behind (Gohan). He then also says that as ultimate proof that Piccolo ain't evil anymore, souls of both Raditz and Goku moved on to afterlife instead of being stuck in limbo.
I think it's more like he can only utilize like 75% of the body's power or something like that.
also anyone ever wonder if Ginyu's body was his original or if it was one he stole? Jace doesn't seem surprised at all when Ginyu switches with goku, and is even quick to transfer scouters to the new body.
It's a lot of fun as long as you like original DB and Boo Saga and didn't start at Z.
The Z-Only amerifats bitch about it just like how they bitch about Boo Saga because it isn't as serious and doom'n'gloom as Freeza and Cell sagas.
>Or everyone is severely underpowered right now which would make sense and do what Toriyama wants which is to make the power levels more or less equal.
Except Tagoma is clearly super powered. He easily rips off Piccolo's arm in the preview.
>hoping for buu to go out
>and have gohan instead
And people also exaggerate Vegeta. Judging by their track records, how capable was Vegeta against Frieza on Namek, the androids, Perfect Cell, and Fat and Kid Buu? I expect to see Vegeta defeated by whoever he faces.
>all these niggas hatin' on my man buu.
Watch Dragon Ball RF for original DB, RF is a Kai-style fanedit of the original that removes filler just like Kai does. Really solid work.
Kai for DBZ.
Then just jump into Super.
There you go, no pacing issues.
Humanity is wiped out in his universe, though I suppose it's possible that a creation of Dr. Gero's helped with that, could be some other being entirely though instead of Cell.
Well, Vegeta killed Dodoria, Cui, Zarbon, Jeice, and Ginyu with no help from anyone else.
He toys with 19 for a bit and loses to 18, but at least he was doing stuff. He then fights Cell and does pretty good, but lets his ego get the better of him.
He doesn't fight a lot in Buu Saga, like a lot of characters, but he does "technically" beat Goku once he becomes Majin. He kills Pui Pui as well. If we count Vegito, he pretty much toys with Buu for a bit before separating. Finally, he fights against Buu generally to defend for Goku.
That is next level. We don't need to regress we need for shit to get real. And that's mild compared to what I really want to see. I want extreme battles, no pussyfooting. Go full retard with style.
Surpass one punch man visually and apply what I said, crack on a TV screen.
Thanks for proving my point.
They need to go All out on action.
I love ridiculous, unrealistic, blinding speed, galaxies eroding by impact of kicks, punches, fighting in event horizon of super massive black holes no effect, fighting in cores of planets, star systems, slipping through realities, punching each other through different realities.
Just being on perfect ssjg breaking down time and space as a celestial. Can be felt across all universes. Yet there are beings who still outmatched them who they must defeat, some type of cycle of reality.
Everything that we knew had a much bigger purpose and apart of a much bigger plan.
Multiverse level threats, etc.
Creating/ destroying universes, repeat in battles, pushing planets with their ki, throwing planets, defeating the embodiment of time itself, etc .
Physically pushing all of snakeway on top of someone, punching someone so hard all planets and moons blow up in that galaxy, etc.
Them so strong that someone threw a punch, missed, and stopped vado or whis heart causing them to die. Space fights!!!! I want them to slowly escalate into these things bro.
>another generic fighter who holds the line until Goku arrives
Now every character except for Goku and Vegeta became this, even the half-saiyans who are supposed to be "future Earth's protectors".
>dragon ball super will never ever look like that
He cheap one shotted an unsuspecting, base level Gohan.
I suspect that Gohan and him will have the final fight and Gohan will barely edge him out, but will win at SSJ.
It's small, but I also love that they took out that stupid "I can go Super Saiyan still... I think" line out of the anime.
This autism. Of course Gohan wasn't going to defeat any mayor villain. Still after the Saiyan saga (and during it he got rip of his crybaby aptitude and went to help Goku even though every else told him to go home). In the Namek saga when he thought Frieza killed Goku (in SSJ) he fought Frieza alone.
In the Android saga he got more balls and asked Goku to train him seriously.
In the Buu saga he was supposed to be the main hero, but Toriyama brought back Goku.
Also, find some type of catylists for the humans to get stronger with new techniques.
Have tien reach a level like omega shenlong in power, have gohan merge his mystic form with each ssj as a boost of each (maintaining 2 forms, using his genius of course for a perfect balance between the 2),
Make human cast super perfect cell level and up to about omega shenlong level.
Have the others above that.
Should also find ways for the humans to keep up being power ups from the gods just like in the old dbz when guru and old kai did, but these gods are way stronger so they can be able to keep up.
New transformations for saiyajin that actually look badass and just super aggressive, then just one final one that is divine and never reaches full power until the end of the series.
New transformations for namekian.
new moves/ techniques for all characters.
And give goku some new attacks other than Kamehameha, and infuse techniques that he knows to make new moves.
Like a spirit absorption where it works like genki dama, but goku is still in combat but body collects energy raising his battle power while fighting. He can either use it into a spirit Kamehameha, or spirit dragon punch, or just absorb the power to fight.
Have a variation of IT like widenet IT where it can cover wide areas without holding anyone and more efficient at locating ki signatures.
Get so fast that using IT becomes useless. Like by the time it would take to lock on a ki signature, he could have flown anywhere in the universe in that time. Then on cosmic throw IT out all together and give it to a weaker character.
How come it's only ameriburgers who have a hard on for Gohan?
The movies are non-canon.
Super starts at the end of Boo Saga and adapts the plot of BoG and RoF movies before going into the new arc.
BoG and RoF as shown in the anime are canon version of the story.
Super has reached the RoF arc, and they're changing things up.
Tagoma turned into a badass Frieza-lite, and Trunks and Goten sensed his powerup so they're joining in on the fight. Ginyu-frog is hanging around, and the next episode title suggests he's going to do some body changing.
The main would still be goku, but you can't leave the humans in the dust without giving them something to work with.
What I mean is while goku, vegita, possibly gohan fight in space and the super op people.
Have the humans take care of things on earth but they fight kid buu level, omega shenlong threats level of power, and to the more powerful warriors that would be childsplay. Everybody is doing something, everything is hype.
The stronger people will be fighting people like 7th day juggernaut, antimonitor, z, divine spawn, mad Jim jaspers level, shuma gorath, living Tribunal, t.o.a.a level toward the end
>only ameriburgers who have a hard on for Gohan?
Japan and the rest of Asia. Truly DB's shitposters are imbeciles.
