What the fuck did I just watch?
Just finished watching it and it was a really enjoyable watch but in the end I didn't understand a single thing that was going on in this show.
Except that the christmas cake won and that's certainly nice.

The movie is a mostly similar plot for the first half, but it explains a lot more about the plot. It doesn't have as much meat as the actual show, but if you want more clear cut answers watch the movie. It doesn't explain EVERYTHING but it explains some stuff.

Google "rahxephon timeline" and check the first hit. It helps clearing up a lot of the whole story. Too bad that the world's backstory is never explained thoroughly in the show.
