Yup, glad he got killed
23 hours till Rin how stoked are you losers?
PP18 and Millennium Pack spoilers when? No way would Konami do what that anon said and make another Masked Hero, Illusion Magician or a new Silent card. nor would they print one of Yugi's cards from BBT. Especially when it's been confirmed the PP18 set is 5D's.Zexal and Arc-V manga's only and we know the monsters for 5D's will be, Junkuriboh,Stardust Charge Warrior and 2 Manga Blackwings.already as well as every zexal card being a Number from that Spiderfag character. ARC-V's cards may just be Sawatari's new Monarch and Yuto's cards while Odd Eyes Phantom Dragon is saved for Volume release.
Generic Serena gets captured episode, Yugo being fucking retarded, the real meaty spoilers coming around Decemeber 17 as well as a week break make these threads dead as shit, they still get completed but mostly due to shitposting. It's a bad time, it's a real bad time
Yuzu doesn't seem like that person who will hate people especially Yuya that easily, unless if he kills their friends and family back at standard
which will eventually happen from MISUNDERSTANDINGSthen she will be pissed.
Pretty hard to say, considering every episode in sycnhro at least has plot I'm them. The only episodes you could just tell newer viewers to skip are 19 and 20. 16 and 17 could be avoided but Michio returns at the MCS.
>Assume it's the same image
10/10 made me jump
>Yuzu doesn't seem like that person who will hate people especially Yuya that easily
Well maybe they won't exactly hate each other, but just distance themselves on purpose this time.
Let's say Yuya finally acknowledges his true nature as a massive edgelord and ends up being so disgusted with himself, he decides that he doesn't deserve to be with Yuzu and tells her to fuck off.
Why did you get scared?
It's just me.
There's one thing for certain, There's a new fusion monster in Millennium Pack. But I have no fucking idea which monster it will be, could it be another Gaia? Could it be an original? could it be a retain of something like Arakana Knight Joker and Chimera the flying mystical beast? Yugi didn't really use a lot of fusion monsters as his go to move and Valkyrenon was kinda like a pseudo union monster.
Its going to be a Mammoth Graveyard+Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon Fusion
Why were Masked HEROes so fucking bad in the GX manga? I mean, Judai hasn't won a single duel using them.
Truly a slow day
GX manga was pretty much cancelled so the author didn't have time to show off Masked HEROs. (but he had time to show off Edo and Fubuki for some reason)
Even manga Judai realised how shit they are and switched back to E-HEROs for the final boss duel.
Who cares? The majority of those packs have been confirmed garbo. Pray nothing worth buying shows up because its probably gonna be rarity bumped to shit and if you want/need it it is going to take buying a lot of shit cards in order to pull it.
What if Jean actually gets the chip implanted and Yuya's dueling style changes to like how the meta is and he starts nuking his pendulum scales left and right and fusion summons
Vortexto watch Crow squirm slowly as his plays get negated
This card was in my extra deck. Does it count?
I didn't watch around the first 15 of the first 20 episodes. You can skip a lot of the beginning because the SoL episodes in this show are beyond terrible which is strange since it feels like it should be a perfect fit.
Man, I haven't followed yu-gi-oh in ages, but god damn this shit got really complicated all of the sudden.
Yugioh got mad popular (at least here in the states) was through kids, but seeing all this shit you have to do now makes it impossible for retard kids now.
Did konami forgot their main source of income? I remember seeing kids getting all hyped when the God cards first came out and literally gave the store 500 bucks for the 3 of them.
Elevens have serve autism
Due to being shown the series by someone they had me skip to episode 15, skip the cooking fight, watch 18, then skip to 21 and watch from there. Due to gratuitous flashbacks I literally missed nothing but bad slice of life. And I checked out some of those episodes I skipped after the fact, a lot of them are terrible and the dueling is worse since most of them devolve into "p-pendulum?! what is this?!"
Mmm, I was thinking more along the lines of dat confidence and smirk.
You saw them buying illegal trash cards, and adults spend far more money on Yugioh than kids. As someone who followed the game and anime from the start I can tell you what happened.
When GX started the anime
When the game reached synchro
strategy and fun came into a game that was dominated by the bullshit that were dark decks
That also. And his voice is sex, I can't wait for him to duel. If he says
SORE WA DOU KANAI will OOOOOOHH on the spot.
I am not watching the SoL episodes, the gimmick duels, or duels involving the shitty early cast that isn't Yuya. I especially refuse to watch the LDS jobbers duel, they are all painful to watch for different reasons (pure constellars are fucking trash, gem knights are worse trash, that kid plays x-sabers so inefficiently it made me literally cringe). The only episodes I might watch are the first 4, episode 7, and Reiji's debut.
To me the show picked up with
I'm sure his duel will be fun.
I have way too few pictures of him. Should probably check pixiv for more one of these days.
You are weak, I have over 900.
I will want good ones. Despite everyone's incessant bitching about synchro its MILES better than the early SoL episode. People who say any episode in synchro is the worst don't fucking remember the abortion that is cooking duel.
No its just LDS jobbers play 3 decks I am very familiar with, so watching them makes me cringe. I love that Arc-V gave some screentime to real archetypes but having played with and against tons of X-Saber when they were new just makes that kid hard to watch. Also what the fuck is wrong with Yaiba's face? He reminds me of the OG terrible Beyblade designs. As someone who plays the actual game I would kill myself watching real life meta and seeing all the Pepe and Kozmo spam.
I like Arc-V but their gimmick duels just are shitty, as are the LDS jobbers.
I've been busy looking for pictures of Dennis instead.
Lets just agree both of those may be the worst duels in the entire anime that don't include Shinji screaming about Topsies.
The hard hitting question: Why the fuck is the cooking anime animated SO well?
Fair enough. I'm a massive Yurifag and even though I've tried to stop, I just can't. I'm in love with him.
Tsukikage is great and I love that he was the first character to realize he can just forever abuse the action cards and never end his turn, topped off with he could have won but instead took a dive for Reiji's keikaku.
The problem with that duel is Shinji's incessant REEEEEE TOPSIES and his fucking bee themed deck.
Well, Hama's a humanoid bee thing so they're not all literal bees.
There is something about a legitimate bee themed deck that drives me absolutely insane. I know there are worse examples but to me this feels like the most absolute bottom of the barrel, creatively bankrupt deck theme to me. It would not be so bad if they were all the humanoid ones, but the grunt cards just being LITERAL BEES drives me insane.
And this card. Fuck this card. Its effect was only usable due to Shinji's starting hand having fucking 3 of these pieces of shit.
Blackwings are different because everyone loves them.
There is just something about it being bees and how all their designs are just literal bees with tiny variations. I hate Blackwings because of playing back when they were at their strongest but at least their designs have more effort than 3 bees and a cartoon big headed bee.
That bothers me less, at least its varied and some looked interesting. 3-4 of these cards are literally just bees that are almost exactly identical except color changes.
I don't know something about it being specifically bees fucking irks me.
>post yfw it won't feature Yami Yugi
>Blackwings are different because everyone loves them.
I'm going to do one of these
key word being one so first come first serve.
List every character you want per person, limit them to arc v.
Reminder that Yugioh died, both competitively and anime-wise, after GX.
>I think Yugioh died, both competitively and anime-wise, after GX.
>We're still going to be here in 2017
Nope still separated. Although Egaovision is still here.
PENDULUM PIONEER SAWATARI SHINGO
>Rin pleasing old men for cards
Because for one She's the MC's key person. I've never seen Anzu, Aki, Asuka or Kotori being this recognised.
Yugioh used to be about sacrificing monsters in order to get monsters worth the sacrifices, it all went downhill after they introduce synchro monsters. They literally forgot what got them famous in the first place and implemented a way for people to spam monster for literally free, and make it too complicated to what used to be their main audience.
No wonder konami was too broke to make their latest yugioh game for the wiiu.
On her defense Yuzu wasn't presented as hot shit right of the bat she's an apprentice with potential and determination which are good character traits, she's a likable underdog with some legit victories and usually only jobs to legitimate threats like Yuri or Sergey. She has escalated well and seem to be only one tier behind the true powerhouses like Shun, Yuya or Sora.
Dennis lost every duel on purpose except the last one because he went against fucking Shun.
And really, if Shun is a jobber now, who isn't besides Reiji, Serena, Yugo and Yuri?
He'll get a serious duel where he actually beats someone when he returns, right? ...right?
>Horrible threatening sub-boss will lose to MC's clone.
Color me surprised.
Also Sergey is Jean's Dragon his number one minion if you prefer. It's only natural he'll only be defeated by a top tier duelist.
You can't really call Shun a jobber considering he was against Crow of all people, it's like Saying Yuya's a jobber for losing against Reiji and Jack who are literally the strongest duelist as of now.
We're seriously basing power levels off chance and one-time victories where plot armor determines the winners?
Problem with Yuzu and most tier 2 and below duelist is that they favor a swarm+beatdown strategy while stronger duelists like Yugo, Shun or Reiji combine removal/control strategies as well. It was badass as fuck watching Reiji take on Yuya's maximum power at the time and negate the shit out of Odd-Eyes Rebellion with his otherworldly rulers. Yuya was tied like a pig.
That's his only bad performance.
In other times Yugo is always portrayed as one of stronger duelist.
Just looked at Yuzu/Sergey, Yugo,Shun and Reiji were the first one who noticed Sergey's strategy while Yuya and Selena were assured of Yuzu's victory.
I'm actually going to put the Yuya sync as a false flag, even though the preview picture shows him with his card, I'm thinking Jean or his scientist will enter the room to take him out or something.
I think this USA good thing. Duel Monsters is after all a game of strategy and chance. A Deck may seem really strong against certain Decks but can be countered hard by other Decks. If a duelist win against someone that doesn't guarantee a victory over the ones his fallen foe previously defeated.
A Citrus falls in love with a Tomato.
Unable to confess, she is gifted with by a deus ex machina with the boy's phone number. Never minding the strange area code, she immediately calls hem, and is overjoyed to find out that he has a crush on her as well.
But, the next day, when she recounts the previous day's confessions to the Tomato, he only looks at her with a perplexed expression. After some investigation, she finds out that the fruit she called is not the same fruit she fell in love with. In fact, he doesn't exist in this dimension at all. He is the Tomato's alternate dimensional Banana counterpart, who has fallen in love with the Citrus own AD self, who too is blissfully unaware of his crush.
Hijinks ensue as the two strike up a deal to give each other their darkest, most private secrets in order to equip the other with the weapons they need to conquer the heart of their other selves. While the two chase their respective loved ones, DRAMA ensues as they begin to fall in love with each other instead and question the NATURE of D-D-D-DUELS.
If I get doubles, Rin will appear in the highways.
Exactly that. Everyone goes for Rex or Infinity spam, but culling your opponents Att with Plesios and mowing them down with Ptera, all the while immune to their backrow thanks to your field spell, is just awesome.
Dinomist are awesome.
>A = Academia
>R = Resistance
>C = City
>V = 5th series
>Yuya's goal is to make everyone smile. A smile ha\ an Arc shape.
>Arc-V introduces a 5th summoning method:
>Arc-V is the 5th series
>Pendulum draws an arc when summoning.
The title alone has so many meanings to it.
Remember how hyped we were for the mysterious Synchro duelist when his entire character was ambiguous?
I'm somehow a little disappointed.
>play against Kozmo guy on DN
>use lightsworn clowns
>guy thinks he's about to beat me
>goes into BP, attacks with his three beatsticks at once
>tell him he is "rushing things a little"
>banish pic related from graveyard
>proceed to win by attacking his sliprider with 5000 atk utopia the lightning
Feels good man.
What am I doing with my life.
I actually put effort into this, holy shit.
>They literally forgot what got them famous in the first place
You do know Yu-Gi-Oh originally didn't have tributing until the Battle City arc, right?
So no, that's not how it got it famous considering it was popular before then.
>They literally forgot what got them famous in the first place and implemented a way for people to spam monster for literally free, and make it too complicated to what used to be their main audience.
>implying spamming monsters isn't fun as fuck and easy to understand with enough practice
>implying people who quit aren't just salty
>Yfw the Ritual Dimension is behind everything.
>Just want to have fun playing Yu-Gi-Oh
Never show your enemy mercy. You crush them before they crush you, that's how the game is played, non of this chunni crap like destiny drawing or proclaiming the fun has just begun
He's going to die right in Yuya's arms.
>Instant Fusion with no extra deck
They deserved to lose purely for that, never mind the fact that they played Mausoleum of the Emperor of all things.
Though the PURE POETRY of beating a Yugi.dek with a Dark Magician card is fun.
Why is determined Yuya so adorable? From when he refused to up to Shinji,to refusing to hand Serena over to Sora to even physically assaulting Jean, or at least trying to. I can't help but think those were some hilarious efforts. Especially because of how badly they keep ending for him, Didn't give in to Shinji, now commons hate him, didn't give up Serena to Sora, got captured and missed his chance to see Yuzu, try to stop Jean, now he's getting mind raped. You'd think he'd stop trying to be the hero after all of this.
If the duel is too onesided in my favour I sometimes give my opponent 2-3 free turns to try and mount some kind of counter attack. And by free I mean I will set up my side of the field but I will not attack or interfere with their side of the field.
But since that usually happens when I play Monarchs I start getting nervous because by that point I've got about 15 or less cards left in my deck and my Monarch deck thins out very quickly (Erebus, Aither, Precious Cards, Pandeity etc.
The Millennium Box is so cool that even the Kingu needs one too!
>We didn't get the playable God Cards in the Memories of the Duel King box
>We'll have to wait for the Millenium box and hope it has the playable versions in it.
>D/D is STILL not playable in TCG and will likely be waiting until the Reiji Structure to get the missing cards.
Fuck Tewart and his assclowns.
If you were to build a deck out of Yugi's new support. It would be fuck damn impossible.
Dark Magician Girl
Dark Magician of Chaos
Black Luster Solider
Black Luster Solider Envoy of the beginning
Super Black Luster Solider
Awakened Gaia the Fierce Knight
Charging Gaia the Fierce Knight
Buster Blader, The Destruction Swordmaster
Right there 10 high level monsters sharing the same deck. Moreso, if the rumors are true, Silent Magician, Silent Swordsman,Gandora, Dark Magician, Dark Magician Girl and Dark Magician of Chaos retrains are coming with them making Yugi wield a grand total of 16 high level monsters in one deck, each with their own supports and together granting Yugi Fusion,Synchro,Xyz and Ritual summons. Can we get this motherfucker some Pendulums?
Someone did that against my deck.
They did not know what Graydle's do.
They did not know I run Kaiju.
You play to win in Yugioh, and in current format tossing away 3 turns is the equivalent of asking them to sock you in the face and otk.
>Can we get this motherfucker some Pendulums?
What do you think Kaiba made that new synchro for?
You think it's a coincidence that it floodgates pendulums despite them not existing in his time, negates effects in the graveyard when Yugi has Electromagnetic turtle, Archfiend of Gilfer and Kuriboh support coming and floats into something else to avoid targeting effects such as Thousand knives and Black luster Soldier's first effect?
Better get ready for Nostalgiafags to get pissed all the way to hell and back when the new movie comes out.
>His shit is guaran-fucking-teed to be the hardest to get your hands on, too, unless it's a Fixed Set.
You got that right. Blue-eyes Spirit Dragon, White Spirit Dragon and Sage Knight are all Secret Rares in Shining Victories and his waifu as well as Twin Burst are both V-jump Promo cards.
Ironman > Captain America
Batman > Superman
Seto Kaiba > Yugi Moto
BLS Envoy isn't that hard to put on the board in Yugi's deck if you keep your Earth monsters to a minimum.
Gaia is fucking stupid and needs to be dropped. Every piece of "support" it gets is terrible and borderline unplayable, and the fact that it has enough cards to make a stack of cards that tries to pass off as a deck is pathetic.
Buster Blader and the BLS support are okay, but lack any consistency, and don't have any backup plans for those times that you brick or get disrupted. I really wish Konami would stop with this philosophy that nostalgia cards have to be bad. You want to get old players hooked on current Yu-gi-oh? Then give them a reason to learn the new mechanics. Give DMG pendulums and the rest of his S/T support. Give Buster Blader and BLS Xyz and Synchros to work with, or make their fusions/rituals easier to play. Fucking drop Gaia support unless you're going to make Curse of Dragon retrains to go with him. Make it possible to turbo into high-level LV monsters so that Silent Magician and Silent Swordsman can get support.
>Make it possible to turbo into high-level LV monsters so that Silent Magician and Silent Swordsman can get support.
I seriously hope these just become synchro monsters because Silent Magician level 8 is far too much trouble for ganking your opponents spells and Silent Swordsman lv 7 is a more annoying Jinzo for spells. High attack be damned, both can easily be defeated by monster effects and trap cards. I'd rather their retrains have silent magician negate all targeting effects and silent swordsman negate all effects of your opponents monsters and negate one spell or trap card once per turn.
Because that's not going to happen. Yugi's not getting anything in Shining Victories and that's the last Synchro focused set before we move on to Xyz narrative. Millinnum Pack will be another fusion, likely Buster Blader or Black Luster related and the move promos are all effect monsters. I'm honestly surprised they let Yugi get a synchro in that dragon from the buster blader archetype then again, Synchro seems to be allowed for Kaiba considering his deck can do it far easier than Yugi's can Xyz plus that whole Light and Dark theme the characters have going for them.
Buster Blader would be a good and possibly top tier deck if several of the cards weren't worded in stupid ways. Buster Blader the Destruction Swordsmen would be 10/10 except he counts as Buster Blader in the field and grave, but not hand. He can only be used for fusions if he is summoned slowing the deck down an absurd amount.
A boy falls in love with a girl.
Unable to confess, he is gifted by a deus ex machina with the girl's phone number. Never minding the strange area code, he immediately calls her, and is overjoyed to find out that she has a crush on him as well.
But, the next day, when he recounts the previous day's confessions to the girl, she only looks at him with a perplexed expression. After some investigation, he finds out that the girl he called is not the same girl he fell in love with. In fact, she doesn't exist in this universe at all. She is the girl's alternate universe counterpart, who has fallen in love with the MC's own AU self, who too is blissfully unaware of her crush.
Hijinks ensue as the two strike up a deal to give each other their darkest, most private secrets in order to equip the other with the weapons they need to conquer the heart of their other selves. While the two chase their respective loved ones, DRAMA ensues as they begin to fall in love with each other instead and question the NATURE of LOVE.
>I'm honestly surprised they let Yugi get a synchro in that dragon from the buster blader archetype then again,
Yugi's only using the new fusion and not the synchro. The synchro is part of the story of Buster Blader's falling out with his companion.
This, the xyz and synchros of their monsters are for us. Kaz didn't even intend for Magi Magi and Ebon to be xyz monsters just like the GX author didn't intend for Light End and Dark End to be shitty synchro monsters. It was all Konami's doing so nostilga whores could at least try to have a chance at winning using old shit,
Pendulums are odd as fuck since Arc-v established that it was always in the game but nobody discovered it until Yuya's pendant changed his cards.
We don't even know if Pendulum summoning, synchro, xyz will be in movie. It's all speculation.
The GX author also didn't intend for Masked HEROs to be good.
The only retrained cards confirmed to be in the movie are Sacred BLS, Gandora X and Blue-Eyes Alternative (its probably just normal Blue-Eyes in the movie though).
Everything else may just created for OCG only.
They didn't think only 1 search card would be good enough to make them worth it and honestly they are right, without loading the deck with 3 shadow mists, 3 E-calls, 3 reinforcements, 3 Mask Changes, 2 Form Changes,3 Masked charges, draw cards, stall cards and maybe shit like battle fusion. Masked Heroes would of still be garbage. But,BUT if they could just get a level 8 Fire Masked hero made in the same vain as Nova Master then they'll be the Omi Heroes japanese style. God if only Super poly were unbanned and we got a new man decker who could be treated as a Masked hero so we could get Chaos out quicker. OOOOOHHH
>Yugioh DM manga is the same as the anime.
Please read the manga.
>Bakura kills Pegasus
>Noah doesn't exist
>Rebecca doesn't exist
>KC grand Prix and Virtual Worlds never happened
>Kaiba killed two people by throwing them out of a helicopter
>Kaiba was never involved in Millennium World or Ceremonial Battle
>Otogi's game shop was burned down after his Dad tried to kill Yugi.
The manga is WAY different from the anime
Actually Yuya has some kind of relation to ancient Egypt if his Namesake is right and the villians all wear some kind of necklace.
Yugo needs a synchro tuner before i can call him anything like Yusei, Yuto needs to be capable of xyz changing and ranking up as well and yuri damn well better be capable of using contact fusion. I don't think we've seen a single contact fusion in the anime yet. Meanwhile Xyz change gets it's dick sucked even after it's nutted
>yugi in the ritual dimmension
He used like two ritual monsters in the entire series
On an unrelated note I can't wait for the inevitable nekroz duelist in the ritual dimmension
>Better get ready for Nostalgiafags to get pissed all the way to hell and back when the new movie comes out.
I'm totally fine with them using synchros and xyz. If anything it gives their decks a chance of being somewhat competitive which is always nice.
Then they became awesome staples in his deck as retrains. Here's to hoping Dark Magician and Dark Magician Girl retrains are actually good AND their cards are "This card is always treated as Dark Magician " and "This card is always treated as Dark magician girl" type cards.
How much longer must this show endure Synchro hell? Will we ever get back too the more important plot that doesn't involve a tournament?
I think we still have like 5 duels left, assuming they're all one parters and that we have 1 filler episode between duels it's at least 10 more episodes but I'm just going to say another 24 episodes at most. Who knows, maybe the tournament won't even end properly and shit will go down.
What if, at the end of the yugioh anime when the millenium items got crushed, the got transported to Yuyas dimmension?
Zorc/Yami Bakura when he was defeated by Horakhty was sent to one of the Arc-V dimmensions?
He's going to lose magnificently to mindcontrolled Yuya after attempting to break him out of it.
Science cannot be broken by mere words, after all.
The new magician girls better have effects that add 1 card that a dark magician monster listed in it's name to your hand effects, be able to special summon Dark Magician or Dark Magician Girl from the deck to the field, and cards that can be treated as those monsters by discarding them from the hand or the deck. The whole strat of Dark Magicians should be to get out Dark Magician and Girl as quickly as possible while generating hand advantage.
With my Catapult Turtle, I can launch my Dragon Champion towards your castle thereby shattering its floatation ring and causing it to collapse on top of your monsters! Go, Catapult Turtle!

Reminder that this will play as Yuzu/Sora/Crow try to snap Yuya out of the mind control, but ultimately fail as he defeats them and ignores their pleas.
GX OP 1: Show's Judai's happy go lucky naieve love of dueling
OP2: Shows Judai's still very happy about dueling but that things are starting to get serious
OP 3: Judai's downward spiral into the DARKNESS, he learns that dueling has serious consequences and that people can actually die. Dueling is no longer fun
OP 4: Shows judai bursting out of the DARKNESS with a burst of life. He learns by the end of the series that even though dueling can kill people, it doesn't have to be super serious and can still be fun outside of the edge
That and Riding Duels meant that seeing non-Speed Spells only happened in ground duels, which barely happened as 5Ds went on, and on that note, field spells rarely happened in 5Ds (only ones I remember are Black Guardian, Carly's Future Vision, Sherry's field spell, Aporia's field spell and Ruka's in episode 143)
>yfw we haven't seen a legitimate Field Spell in ARC-V that wasn't an Action Field and was actually activated.
>yfw a field spell will never be activated in ARC-V ever.
>Sawatari last and first
Not sure if this is a joke or trying to be serious.
Premature Burial can be returned to the hand by card effects (e.g. Brionac, before it was banned), so it could be played endlessly and had its role in loops/FTKs/locks. If Premature Burial was a trap card, that wouldn't happen since you can't activate traps on the turn they are set (or straight from your hand) outside of situational cards (that one Blackwing trap card that nukes things comes to mind).
Its part of the reason Future Fusion was banned (being able to use it endlessly at times), aside from the obvious bullshit that came with it. The moment that Fusion monsters like Chimeratech Fortress Dragon (2 or more materials), it would have led to abuse of Future Fusion. Five-Headed Dragon was used this way to just dump 5 dragons of choice to the graveyard to serve as Painful Choice-lite.
Hey tell me, what is your favorite song?
Hey do you want to sneak out of here and go somewhere?
Let's talk without whatever we have that's making us blue.
Yeah! Wake up! Sleep!

No need to be vague about it!
There's nothing wrong with being sad!
You don't want to tell anyone?
But you should say something!
You can tell me!
The you that no one else knows.
The teachers don't know anything at all!
Your best friends don't know anything either!
You don't want to tell anyone?
It's okay, say it.
You can let me know.
What the fuck is this shit,/a/rc-v? You told me this series was fun, this sounds like suffering one o one. It's not even a secret who this song is about and who the one talking is.
Well, Sawatari IS the one that pioneered the pendulum summoning method and he is the one that i sleading the Sawatari generation in this glorious crusade against the Fusion dimension and academia.
Of course I'm joking, but still, he was incredibly skilled when he was using Yosenju, perhaps even moreso than Reiji. His win record still a shit tho.
>Dennis below Serena and Gongenzaka
Almost every thread until Dennisfag is carded.
Yuya really got conned by her, I can't believe how many anons were right on the money that manga Yuzu's autograph was actually a fucked up contract. That's be like anime Yuzu tricking Yuya into signing a marriage licence
So what should Jonouchi shill?
His options are:
Panther Warrior, Legendary Fisherman and Battleguards got used by Barret, Teppei and Ishijima (aka Standard Sergey)
IIRC, didn't he use literally everything he had in his hand against Gongenzaka? The only things Dennis used when going all out that he never used otherwise was Shadow Maker (only after getting the Level 5 Entermage Pendulums after becoming a Lancer) and Ancient Gear Chaos Giant (which he couldn't even summon anyway without dumping Trapeze Magician + 3 Shadow Makers in the Graveyard). The rest of his deck is what he has always been played.
Him being not serious against Serena is obvious since he never summoned Trapeze Magician. Against Gongenzaka however, he used everything that he had access to. If Dennis had a really good hand and could summon Trapeze Magician + 3 Shadow Makers like he did in the rematch against Shun, he would have.
The only duels I remember where someone wasn't going all out in ARC-V were:
>The first Yuya vs Sora duel, where Sora held back quite a bit (e.g. acting like he couldn't get action cards, etc).
>The first Yuya vs Reiji duel (Reiji could have used two of his Hell Armageddon's to summon Kali Yuga, nuke Yuya's Pendulum Scales and his own, then attack with both Kali Yuga and Hell Armageddon)
>The first Sora vs Shun duel (if Sora's word is taken, since Chimera's effect would have won him the duel, or just summoning Tiger instead of Chimera)
>Sora vs Yuto (Yuto could have OTK'd Sora but chose not to).
>Dennis vs Serena (Dennis held back quite a bit, however I still think Dennis would have lost since he wanted to keep his cover, albeit he would make Serena struggle)
>The Yuya vs Reiji rematch (Reiji could have beat Yuya the turn he summoned Caesar Ragnarok using its effect to make CR's ATK become 6200 by equipping one of Yuya's Dragons to deal 3200 damage.)
>Tsukikage vs Shinji (Tsukikage let Shinji win because of Reiji's keikaku)
Yuya pushing Banana into Yuri
Reiji is the one rubbing his chin with the heart symbol.
Shun is the one pointing with anger, that or Yuzu/Selena
Sora/Yuto is approving with the thumbs up.
>He'd shill the new red eyes.
>Implying it won't be Fubuki coming back in Fusion Dimension arc because BUY RED-EYES
Yugo also didn't use Three-Eyed Dice, a card which is basically Necro Gardna for Speedroids, the entire duel.
I know some Yutofags might act like Yuto would have beat Yugo if Yuya didn't stop him, but Yugo was basically fucking Yuto the entire duel. Yugo basically did to Yuto what Reiji was doing to Yuya for the entire of that rematch.
ARC-V duel skill is so inconsistent, especially when you consider:
>Until Crow defeated Shun, it was Sora who came closest to actually defeating Shun (and did so mostly off-screen).
>Sora got BTFO by Yuto really easily, even though Yuto and Shun were implied to be equals.
>Yugo then came along and wrecked Yuto pretty easily.
>This same Yugo went and struggled against Sawatari, who got FTK'd by Security.
>Duel Chaser 227 put up a much better fight against Yugo than Yuto did, and yet 227 got BTFO really hard by Yuya.
I think the Dennis vs Gongenzaka duel ties into how duels are written in general and the whole destiny draw aspect of them. It was more of Dennis putting a show and going along with it (becoming the villain and getting defeated in the end for a good ending to the story) than him playing to win. I suppose they could've shown that he had some way to win and just didn't use it, but overall it just didn't feel like a serious duel from Dennis's part.
Also when going against Serena he did have some sort of a plan, but got distracted by the Obelisk Force sneaking around.
True, he just never got the opportunity to use Tri-Eyed. When he was considering it, he needed it for Yoyo, but some people do forget Dark Rebellion's attack wouldn't have been decisive.
Arc-V just doesn't necessarily follow A > B, B > C, so A > C logic. They can brick, and some decks / strategies are just outright not as effective against others, see Yugo camping hard against Sawatari. Sawatari definitely improved, but I don't think I'd put him on Yugo or Yuto / Shun's level regardless.
>This same Yugo went and struggled against Sawatari, who got FTK'd by Security.
He needed to synch with Yuya to even win. Normally Yugo never would though to grab the action card.
