Bakemonogatari is the anime that makes me the angriest. I can't think of the worst anime I have watched as I forget the names of shows I drop. But the whole style of bakemonogatari with its head turns and over designed world actually pisses me off. It feels like its pandering to visual stimulation way too much and ignores any sense of logic.

The worst anime that I've actually suffered through is K-ON. It was just so unbearably boring and stupid. I only watched it because I wanted to know what kind of impact it had on anime as a whole. My conclusion is that K-ON is responsible for all that is wrong with anime.

What makes anime, anime was what made that resturant scene with the high school bully in Rakudai feel outdated. From the advancements KyoAni made, and those that copied them, geeks and nerds have developed their own social culture around attractive 3D to the point where /a/ says anime is being invaded by normal. What Steins;Gate did was remind us remind us of our roots, they showed a book on SQL and other technical books while doing geek things to a microwave, showed a scene of browsing electronics component in the same fashion as if they were shopping for brand clothing, all scene.
