I think if they hadn't dragged out Yukine's rebellious phase and adapted the falling man into one episode, they probably could have put Bishamon's arc into the first season as well. That might have made it a bit too hectic though. The first few manga arcs are moving pretty fast compared to the later ones, but you can take your time reading it while an anime has a set pace.

That's because most people here are kissless young men who see lips touching and saliva exchange as the highest form of intimacy between individuals. So the context doesn't matter at all. That's why Yato's fake kiss with Bishamon doesn't count, but Hiyori's mouthrape is the same as a passionate kiss between true lovers.
