Godakobo is nowere near KyoAni or even big boys studios like Bones, Madhouse, even A-1 or JC Staff in terms of animation. There is not a single their show that is really outstandishly animated or even kept in the high standard production quality.

Godakobo strength is its unique warm touch in adapting comedy shows, nice direction and guaranteed ability to "get comedy right".

Koihime Musou,GJ-Bu, YuruYuri, Love Lab, Mikakunin, Nozaki-kun, Umaru - if i had to pick studio to adapt my favorite 4koma/sol manga it`ll be Godakobo without questions.

That said, their quality of production differs from show to show and visual quality much depends on staff and budget. And they also produce other shows than light hearted comedies - that are not that great overall: from fujoshit to Aria, even Hirai-face Prince (also it was decent).

ITT: its niche studio for specific purpose. Just like as one would pick Xebec to animate cowtits, Arms to animate hentai, Sunrise for gag-comedy and mecha, PA Works for soap opera dramas - Godakobo is studio for comedy 4komas and sols.

Production IG CGI is steril, unoriginal and worthless.

Diomedea is just an advertisement studio. With a particular budget, they quickly animate LNs and games to get the sales going. They never cared about overall BD sales because that's just a bonus, they were already paid by the source companies for example Noucome/Mondai LN publishers and Kantai's game as well.
