They probably don't even realize. You would think they'd check for official spellings but I don't think they bother. CR is still spelling Laito's name with an R in the MB anime even though I'm pretty sure Rejet was spelling it with L before the first season had even started.

That vampire end looks like a bad end, so that ceremony is probably going to be interrupted by something. It also looks like she's wearing the locket and the ring in that scene, which seems weird since they're both broken now, so I wonder if when we actually get to that part if it's going to play out differently than it did the first time.

I rewatched his episode the other night and she does have reasons, though I don't think she's aware of it. For starters, he's the only devil who continued mind controlling her even after the pendant got in the way, and he was in the middle of having her remove it when Rem broke her out of it. Like he says, he's as strong as Rem but far more successful, probably because he's more ruthless and doesn't hold back at the last second.

The chase scene, I have no idea how I missed it before, but it shows him controlling the crowds of girls and the environment exactly, especially in the moment Ritsuka gets physically grabbed. He lies to her saying he just can't control them, since it was all his doing to make himself look safe, and it really depends on whether she believed that lie or not. She didn't know they were devils at the time, but it was still the most disorientating encounter with no gifts or information handed over.

He's the least honest devil for sure anyway, and if she likes Rem then he's definitely not her type. He's all approach and no offers.
