They serve a cultural purpose of shitting out cheap adaptations of things that don't deserve an anime so that the original creator can move on to something marginally less terrible without losing face.
S1 of Nurarihyon no Mago was abysmal, animation-wise and story-wise. Then they went and replaced the director and S2 was beautifully done. Just goes to show that the studio's name doesn't mean shit – the director makes all the difference. DEEN just happens to have a lot of shit directors.
>mfw something is announced to get a DEEN adaptation
They attempted to resurrect Dolljoints. Aside from making the Dolls too short, they did an incredibly accurate adaptation.
Jesus Christ, how did I not notice this when I first watched it
I follow Deen very as closely as I can, and through it I find happiness.
Objectively created the best version of UBW to date by being 100% faithful to the VN in both quality and story.
ufo can't even into proportions.
They gave me my waifu.
Why is DEEN considered to be the worst studio in existence???
Sure they usually do really shit adaptations
(Pupa)but when they have enough of what they need during that time they can be really good.
DEEN's animation isn't that bad compared to the so called /a/ masterpieces of 1945.
Dude their version is nowhere near faithful to the VN. The only thing it got right was the soundtrack and you know it.
paging Dr. Gilgamesh
Studio DEEN is one of the oldest anime studios currently, they also made SEVERAL hits.
Not that a newfag like you that started anime in 2012 and wants to fit in here would know of course.
They got me into Type Moon. They had one thing over UBW and that's Kenji Kawai.
Say whatever you want but you can't erase the fact that DEEN made a masterpiece once.
And yes, even better than the manga.
>Tenshi no Tamago
>You're Under Arrest
>Read or Die OVA
>Seitokai no Ichizon
>Kore wa Zombie desu ka
>Rozen Maiden S3
That Deen is bad epic meme is one of the worst niwaka shit on /a/.
Meganebu was fabulous as fuck
They made this masterpiece. It just doesn't get mentioned often because it's before the 2000s and /a/ is full of giant plebs.
