>the Norisuke Higashikata that participated in the Steel Ball Run race had two navels
>mfw I only just realized he might be like Gappy and he's two people combined as one
How slow am I?
>The costumes and story mode.
>Any team that is 2 of the same character (Kira/Kira, Dio/DIO, DIO/DIEGO, Diego/DIEGO, Poochie/Toochie) depending on which is the most fun to play.
>Heaven DIO so far has only used DIO's old poses and lines.
I'm also hoping it'll let you pick 2 Valentines as your team because of D4C.
He hasn't posted any new OC in a while, but he delivers sources to people that ask.
Between running his meme page and linking 10,000 normalfags to these threads, I haven't been thinking highly of him lately.
>First Generation: King comes first (King Nothing)
>Second Generation: King comes second (Nut King Call,Speed King,Calofornia King Bed)
>Third Generation:King comes last (Paper Moon King)
If Norisuke has a secret brother/sister then we could see KC again. Hato has something else
>yfw Hato's stand is a ridiculously powerful punch ghost
>What are you most hype about?
Learning how to achieve Heaven
>Who's gonna be your main?
Valentine and whoever clicks the most with me
>Who do you want to win the tournament?
>What do you dislike about the game?
That I can't play it yet
I'm sure there are some that i've missed, just replace that part of the sentence with "good oc".
The only newfag here is you, back in 2005 and 2006 fucking everyone used a tripcode or name when posting on /a/ to the point that they were the majority, Anonymous culture on /a/ only really started to spike up after Tripfags started to be called out and told to go back to Gaia.
I don't like tripfags either, but there was a point in /a/'s history where they were at the very least considered "normal", so you're wrong that liking a tripfag is equalate to newfaggotry.
I mean, I'd let Arceus fuck me in the ass if he'd pick up the translation and scan for Shiori Experience, but it doesn't mean I'll tolerate the times he posts without his trip. He's probably the best translator on the board, so I'll respect him for the work he's done.
What is the thing embed in this stone arrow. What object completes the 'stone arrow' like the 'stone mask' was completed?
>hurr don't credit people and reward them for what they do for you
Just stop being a faggot you shitposting runt
You can't lump an entire demographic of people together, but yes. I'm sure that there are thousands of anons that still post on /a/ that were here in 2006 and 2005 that aren't huge newfags.
PART 4 RELEASED FUCKING WHEN?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
5-6 months of waiting left.
It's going to be a long winter.
>i can't counter argue so i must point out the image he posted to devalue his opinion
Tell me when you want to stop being retarded.
>anime came out
>friend of mine had class snowed out at university
>That's wishful thinking
Well I can guarantee for a fact that you aren't one of them. Pic related.
Can we just stop this worthless argument now? This isn't going anywhere with good discussion, lets just stick to posting about JoJo.
What kind of powers would a shovel-based stand have?
The story and new characters.
No idea, in ASB it ended up being a character I never paid much attention to in the manga, so I'll have to mess around with the game first to know.
Jonathan and DIO.
The gameplay. I'd rather have a new ASB.
I'm so fucking hype for Part 4
>Killer Queen/Sheer Heart Attack/Bites the Dust
He was part of Bruno's gang so he had to have a stand.
Narancia mentions that he was annoying. Kinda weird they didn't give a fuck about him, but that seems to be a thing in part 5.
>walk into my home on christmas eve
The only real conclusion I can come to is that arrow was carved around something else that arrived on the meteorite, maybe an alien lifeform.
Second question, were the Stone Masks carved from this meteorite? Do you think it was a just a lower grade of ore and needed to be pierced directly into the brain to have real effect? Do Stone Masks evolve humans and in the process attempt to awaken dormant stand abilities? (Pillar Modes, Dio's freezing tech)
according to that one comic by araki, vampires were an attempt to create stands.
It makes sense. Every vampire has a unique 'mode' that is pretty much a psuedo stand.
The obvious ones were the pillar men modes, but also the other vampires displayed similar modes.
>Dio's ice mode
>Wired Beck's hair mode
>Nukesaku's lady mode
>Gain unique super power+immortality, strength, cellular control
>Never set foot in sunlight.
If it was to attain a stand, it was clearly an imperfect method, as an absolute power like a stand, is much better than a lesser power with a weakness to sunlight.
Is this nigga serious?
I think Wired Beck is just a freaky vampire.
And did Nukesake wear the mask? I think he was just turned by DIO.
However, Bruford's hair and Tarkus' rock skin are obviously stand abilities they awakened in anger during their executions, or even prior.
Its specifically stated that wired beck wore the mask, and nukesaku was turned into a vampire by DIO, not a zombie, but a true vampire. Nukesaku's face was part of his body.
Both of them had totally unique abilities that were theirs alone.
Dio never made hair body spikes, or grew a second face. And none of the other vampires, or pillar men, demonstrated ice abilities.
It seems to make sense that those powers were granted via vampirization. however we still have no legit confirmation, since araki cannot into clearing up shit.
As for Tarkus and Bruford, it was said that they were zombies, so their powers were just carried over from when they were alive. Didnt it say that Bruford's hair ability is what let him survive that ring challenge?
This is 100% a girl until Araki provides physical evidence otherwise.
>Didnt it say that Bruford's hair ability is what let him survive that ring challenge?
It did. So the idea that Stone Masks and Stone Arrows may be carved from a similar or the same mineral isn't completely unlikely.
Is Made in Heaven the most powerful stand up to that point in the series? Stronger than Star Platinum/The World even? I just finished part 6 today and was wondering.
>Hot Pants is a woman of average to above-average height and slim to medium build.
>It is implied that she is fairly androgynous; intentionally passing for a man until she is discovered.
You're just pulling things out of your ass. Just admit he's a dude and fuck off already.
I know GER is a thing. If Pucci is moving at such high speeds, can't he dash in slit giornios throat and dash out? Or if he gets to close, no matter the speed, will he be affected by GER?
I'm just trying to have fun.
Live a little, geez.
GER is bullshit. The only way to beat it would be The World Over Heaven having complete control over all time, thus being able to erase GER before it existed while simultaneously canceling GER's resets with resets of it's own. So, you know, only MORE bullshit can beat it.
>So how is anyone supposed to beat the World over Heaven?
How does almost anything get done in Jojo? Asspulls so epic performed by characters so endearing in manners so entertaining you don't have the heart to complain.
>Giorno not giving up despite DIO increasing his advantage with every blow
>DIO remarks how he sees a lot of Johnatan in the boy
>suddenly it hits him like a fucking train how he sees a lot of himself as well
I would shit bricks.
I'm actually really tame and friendly IRL, and i loathe cringe. It's just that it's a fucking anonymous image board, and i'm a huge DIOfag venting.
>posts on /a/
Get a load of this faggot.
I always thought that, since GER affected will and actions, you could potentially kill Giorno indirectly.
Like Purple Haze, since it doesnt discriminate, could infect Giorno through GER. Not that it matters since Giorno is immune but a stand like that potentially could.
Tusk fucking could. You cant reduce infinity to zero nigga.
>calls jojo fans cringe
>in a jojo thread
Stay mad fag. You just can't comprehend that which is ZA FUCKING WARUDO. GER vs WOH would be the hypest fight ever considering Giornio is Dio's only competent son.
Well, Heaven DIO is already fucking stupid.
I won't be surprised, but I will be disappointed.
>Heaven DIO is already fucking stupid
>the guy who came up with [Heaven] achieving [Heaven] is stupid
>DIO's true destiny which he was robbed off by a sick weaboo and her autistic son finally being achieved is stupid
>being a faggot
>"stop doing what I think is weird!"
>Do you enjoy shitposting with your left hand on your crotch?
Not only was that not a generic horseshit 4chan post, but it's entirely accurate.
That's one in a million, kid
Also, Jojo is my favorite manga. Too bad about everyone else who likes it. Autism awareness.
>''i'm better and cooler then all of you''
>meme meme meme jojo meme
>is my post funny
>Willingly calling yourself a fan of anything
Woo boy, slow down.
I'm going to post Narancia so you can all shut the fuck up
I didn't call anything weird.
Do the other kids call you weird, Anon?
I was complimenting you.
However, that post was a let down and brand name as fuck
Now now, that's another folder I saved for /y/.
>Everybody's Autistic but me!
>I'm so cool!
>Actually needing to talk to people you think are autistic and not just ignoring their post
>Actually starting a shitstorm with your smugness so this retarded argument continues
>Not just ignoring cringeworthy people
Look at what you started man, look at these replies. You just had to do it didn't you. Ya had to get the shitposters riled up.
>Make retarded posts and get looked down on
>Start accusing others of shitposting
>posting narancia is cute/male material
How sweet of you, anon
embrace the gay, anon homosexuality is not actually that bad, as long as you don't dress up like a gay person
Hide one by one. Don't know what to tell you.
Might as well slap on a tripcode so I can filter your imageless posts too.
I wish the Facebook chats were actually that coherent. You guys are just as bad if not worse.
Can someone explain how the worst part of the series has the most powerful stand. I mean come on GER can literally beat The World and Stairway to Heaven without breaking a sweat. At first I thought Stairway to Heaven would win because of its ability to speed up time and itself to near light speed, as well as causing the universe to complete it's first cycle, reverting even thing back to before the events of Part 6 but in a slightly altered universe. But apparently, all GER has to do is reset Stairway to Heavens speed to zero while punching it in the face, setting it's existence to zero, thus causing Pucci to lose his stand ability and experience death for eterinty, but always reseting to the zero point, creating an endless cycle of death like Diavolo. The only person that might be able to come close to GER is The World Over Heaven, but that is only if it has the power over all of time. This would allow it to go back in time and erase GioGios existence, thus eliminating GER. BUT then the events of Part 5 would never occur, possibly erasing the World over Heaven as well.
But if Stairway to Heaven sped up time to the point where the universe was destroyed and recreated, then that makes all the events leading up to Stairway of Heavens creation pointless. What was the purpose of the series if the ending we get is a different universe with altered characters. Why did I read all 752 chapters just to get that ending. Now they expect me to just go onto the next part which is in an alternate dimension that has no connection to the first or second universes of the first story. What is this crap man.
I guess the Jojokes on me
Yeah, I don't think anyone actually hates any particular part of it even though everyone has their own version of that one part.
Like for me. Even though DIO is best version of Dio for me Stardust Crusaders will always be my least favorite part. Doesn't mean I don't like it.
Does anyone have a link to those silly edits of VA chapter 1?
My friend is reading through Stone Ocean and DIO is his favorite character and he's having fun
Barring part 5, I'd say Soft & Wet.
The ability to take away is so vague that right now, it seems it can do anything. It might be able to take away death and bring someone back alive for all we know.
So I'm developing a JoJo dating sim where you go to a school with a bunch of stands (female protag) and woo them into being your stand. Set out most of the groundwork already, but how should I write it? Completely bizarre, satirical and self-aware (with some feels), or straightforward, played seriously and methodically (in-depth lore explanation on stands, used to forward plot), and with tons of feels?
>Something more borked than MiH aka The World in Heaven
>Only have PC, master race sucks sometimes
>The World in Heaven, even if it looks like a nice recolor it's ONLY a recolor (at least from what we've seen)
So I wonder how long the fight goes on before Jotaro gets the Inevitable: Star Platinum The World in Heaven. If Johnathan gets it instead then all is forgiven.
You really don't know anything about JoJo to call any of the first part of that a meme. You're using meme wrong anyway..
>The story and all of the characters interacting with eachother
>Valentine and DIO on a Horse, Johnny and Jo2uke, Josuke and Jo2uke, Oldseph and Josuke, the two Kiras.
>Underwhelming GHA's, the movement looks a little slow and the controls look like they might be a hassle for this kind of game
It should probably lean more towards the latter, but some stand paths would probably be more prone to the former. Like I can see Spice Girls and Love Love Deluxe being more silly, but Paisley Park being more serious.
That said, now that I've answered your question
Is it? I'm just a casual reader finally slogging through DiU and none of my friends have really bitched about it.
I mean the majority of them chalked it up to Joseph's senility but he's not nearly a drooling retard. And besides, Jotaro is totally aware of how HP works.
That and it still bugs me that apparently Johnathan's stand is just a shitty HP knock off.
I always liked to think The World was Jonathan's
I saw a theory that made sense, about why The World was hard for Dio to control at first. Since it was stated to have appeared when he pierced Johnathan's body with the arrow and acted in a way that was later shown to be how stands with dead masters acted...
Made sense to me. Especially how it got easier to use as Dio assimilated Johnathan's body.
>You manifested a stand
Post your stand's name and its ability, It should be named after a song or a band.
Bonus point if it's non-pop
Pic related is mine. It could manipulate the electrical signal from your eyes to the brain. Either slowing your vision, overloading your brain with current or cause illusions
The "make your own stand" bollocks is my least favorite part of JoJo threads.
>can turn any guy into a woman.
>reach the age of 30+
>still dress like highschooler
>finished jojo stone ocean a week ago
>baffled at the end of series
So they all died or it's alternate reality? Seems too sad for jojo's end.
D'you think there's the possibility of the original timeline being restored? I mean, we've not seen the limit as to what Soft&Wet can steal. Do you think he can steal time?
And maybe Johnny won't have such a shitty fate...
I just want one version of Johnathan to have a happy ending
D4C easily, it's ability isn't just dimension hopping it makes two dimensions exist simultaneously in the same space. I doubt more than a handful of people here could explain how Valentine, Wekapipo, and Diego shot Johnny with his own gun. Nor all the subtle mechanisms the stand has
Dirty Deeds senpai
Their spirits are not the same only their body and mind. So yes the originals are gone and yes it is basically a new world without Pucci.
>mfw all of part 6
Only just met Pucci and I still don't know what the fuck I'm reading
It has the power to invert people's thoughts and actions for the next 5 seconds within a certain range.
For instance, when activated, an opponent might have originally intended to attack you with their stand but instead calls it back leaving the user to simply walk up to them. The opponent will also feel relieved rather than scared as the user walks up to them. After the 5 seconds, the opponent will know what they did but cannot understand why they did it.
Also, everyone within range will stop if they're walking, feel sad if they were just happy, apply the brakes if driving, have dogs bite anyone nearby if the dog's calm, etc.
I like this theory. Makes it all more painful.
Well, it's why Gio has the joestar birthmark. He was conceived by DIO but Dio's original testicles and shit are long burned away. He did so with Johnathan's DNA.
Maybe he got the blond from his mother?
He has both their DNA desu senpai, he has a joestar birthmark and once he got old enough the DIOstesterone made his blonde hair start coming in.
If Polnareff survived the acceleration then he should still be alive and remember everything like Emporio. Only things closely tied to Pucci had any noticeable change in "events"
All living things within a 20 meter radius experience extreme pain, which increases the closer you get to the center. There are no wounds caused so the pain can't be healed from within the area.
Say something nice about your least favourite part.
Say something bad about your favourite part.
I'm still wondering what Araki will pull at the end of part 8.
I mean, in the past he had the advantage of being years ahead of the story, and by the time it caught up he reset.
But now skipping from 1890 to 201? he's pretty much fucked himself hasn't he?
>Say something nice about your least favourite part.
Finale was one of the best and most iconic
>Say something bad about your favourite part.
Characters felt shallow at times
3 and 6
And made it incredibly dated. Though, to be fair weren't part 3 - 6 all done when that was present time IRL?
Meanwhile JoJolion is still stuck in 2011. You'd think we'd at least get some 1940's adventures.
>Part 8 is four years in the past and it isn't close to finishing
>Giorno was only fifteen years old
>Stone Ocean was almost twelve years in the future when it started
Nah, he's perfectly fine.
If it's considered the worst how is that not saying it's bad?
Like I get that it doesn't have stands and stuff, but I've always loved it, growing pains and all. I liked how Johnathan stood out as the polar opposite of DIO, I liked the over the top friendships, I liked when JoJo characters actually fucking hit eachother instead of just using their stands.
the least favourite part of the series
>all of them are goodies good good
>all of them are piece of shit and get rekt by Joselyne
>villain use the same gimmick as last part(don't wanna give out his identity)
>end with the most cliffhanging shit ever
Fuck Araki! Maybe Gio would turn the reality around or some shit
>Say something nice about your least favorite part.
Emporio's spirit moving the stand disk to his head to beat the invincible Pucci was a nice throwback to part 2's ending. Also part 6 had good characters, a great beginning, and was most bizarre part.
>Say something bad about your favorite part.
Jousuke has ugly hair even though I got used to it I can't say I like it.
Part 3 takes place in the same year Araki started writing it but by the time it ended it was three years in the past. Parts 4, 5, and especially 6 took place in the future.
As for 8 it's in that year specifically because it takes place after the Tohoku earthquake. It's dated in the same way as 40's adventures would be by having nazis or whatever.
Oh, I apologise for being so harsh.
It's not meant to be a joke, I'm genuinely of the opinion
[read: objective truth]that each part is better than the one that precedes it.
I definitely agree that Phantom Blood has a very classic anime touch and the relationship between Jonathan and Dio is one of the best protag-villain relationships across the whole series but the part is very derivative and that mars it in my eyes.
>Say something nice about your least favourite part.
Polnareff managed to be entertaining and relatable while going through a believable character evolution.
Fuck what VA did to him.
>Say something bad about your favourite part.
Caesar's face look really off in most panels.
I get that it's very derivative of FoTNS in particular, but I don't know, there's just something that endears it so much to me. Maybe it's because I liked how pure hearted Johnathan was or that I liked the clever uses of hamon. It felt like an epic struggle, even though that struggle was indeed so very short.
I'm sad that part 7 failed to match that feeling. Extra sad because wild west is my favourite setting. Why'd they make Johnny such an unlikable prick with such a sad fate?
Honestly fuck them if they're going for the slim designs from the get go (which they're most likely doing since this is key art for the first half). This is fucking gay man, it's supposed to start off really buff and then gradually slim down. Even then it's not supposed to be this slim. Look at Josuke, he's a goddamn stick compared to chapter 1 of DiU.
It's still grainy but the only redeeming quality I can tell is Koichi's fixed face so far. The rest is legit pissing me off right now. They did Part 3 transition of realistic to toon Iggy perfectly so I don't get why they'd go for skinny static designs now.
I know what you mean, while still supernatural Phantom Blood is more grounded and the struggle is more relatable. But I think the same should be said for Johnny's flaws and his growth.
SBR read like an rollercoaster, with moments of sombre, reflective downtime contrasting against dramatic tension whereas Phantom Blood was a short and steady increase.
Here I always thought Pucci the least likely to blaspheme..
I get that Johnny's well developed, but that didn't make him likable. Even at the end of the series he fails to become a genuinely good person, and his Stand is confusing as shit.
That said, oddly enough I think JoJoLion has some of that part 1 spirit. I still miss the crazy martial arts and over the top friendships, though. We're not likely to ever get another Speedwagon.
I miss muscley JoJo. Recommend me a manga with muscular heroes.
still soon to judje imohoh but it could be
As far as we know it is. But if it makes you feel any better he gets his stand taken from him in Jorge Joestar. Granted he just decides to kill people with spin, but what can you do. He's Araki's favorite
>What does it mean to be a good person
We getting philosophical now? I define being good as the desire to do good by others. To protect them and help them. Johnny never really grew into that.
I know, right? I was kind've hoping they'd show some spin applications in hand to hand combat. Then again, I'm of the mind that Joseph should've taught Josuke some ripple shit. He can't heal himself with CD, but ripple...
Really? Dammit. He's such a despicable character. I hate that he gets away with all that. Hopefully he died with the universal erasure.
I don't know if he counts as "dead" now. Since he's part of Jo2uke does that count?
He doesn't have the brown spikey hair of generic harem protags.
I just hope it's one of those early David mockups that they liked to do so often. The series is still in development until April after all.
I agree with your definition. The only reason I bring it up is because SBR seemed to be blurring the lines between heroes and villains with every character.
We also don't really know what kind of person SBR Kira is
>Made in Heaven
who is esthetically the best?
who is objectively the best?
who is your favourite?
>muh contempt makes me better
there are some nice trip coders
Stalker is pretty based and does webms for lazy people
About Doc.. dojyaaan he doesn't bother me anymore
The "Kira" of SBR is technically the main character, Josuke. He's made of two individuals merged together, one being the new universe's Kira. Kira in this timeline is also related to the Joestars.
>What are you most hype about?
WEATHER REPORT, to a lesser extent Joshu and Trish
>Who's gonna be your main?
Diavolo just like ASB, my ideal duo would be Diavolo and Johnny.
>Who do you want to win the tournament?
I dunno, who cares
>What do you dislike about the game?
I don't think I'll like the story
Yeah but he isn't the Kira of the original universe. I mean he is similar but you were saying you hated him getting away with it and I'm saying this new Kira might have been a good person.
I really liked the first EoH poster, even more than the final cover of the game. It looks really exciting.
The first minor villain of JJL said that Kira felt like a man who killed somebody before, so it's very likely he was a murderer as well. There's no reason to believe he was a good guy at all. He also spoke condescendingly of this same guy's lifestyle as a surfer so he's not at all a "good person".
I'm assuming the Kira of the original universe is long since erased. I don't like that he got away from being dragged to hell by ghosts, but can't really change that now.
I highly doubt SBR Kira is a good person.
He wasn't erased, Pucci didn't destroy the old universe - just accelerated time until a big crunch/bang happened and a new Earth was made.
Jolyne and everyone else who was dead at the moment the big crunch happened are still in the afterlife.
Why is Jotaro always like the main guy on the covers?
I mean what if it was self defence and he is SUCH a nice guy that it threw him through a loop explaining why his conversation with the surfer was so disjointed. I'm just playing devil's advocate, I don't think it's one way or the other just yet
What does this even mean
I thought the universe was definitely erased and/or replaced. That was kind of the point of it.
Well, he's said to be sadistic and if I recall was stated to like hurting people. I don't know what his deal is with Josefumi was but I can assume it wasn't pleasant.
Hato's stand is King
To begin with, I don't even feel like Josuke is a nice guy in JoJolion. The way he handles his encounters with everyone who isn't Yasuho is pretty confrontational and intimidating. It was like that for the surfer guy, Daiya, Jobin, and so on. The part of him that's Josefumi is probably the one thing that makes him a "righteous" protagonist because in all essence, his character is very much like that of Part 4 Kira's; very calculative and cautious. It's a cool dynamic and in my eyes proves that Kira was pretty much the same guy in 8 as he was in 4.
Also, Josuke is my favorite JoJo so far.
holy fucking shit
Oh yeah y'all are proll right.
Reading through it I sort of get what you mean but I don't agree that
>Jolyne and everyone [...] are still in the afterlife
I think they still get recycled the same as everyone else
I prefer 3's art style but the story is weak, guess i never really liked how skinny everyone got in later parts. I must really like generic late 80's aesthetic
Best art style is late part 2 - early part 3.
People got way too bishie in part 4. It reflects in universe, too. Jo2uke is supposed to be built like a brick shit house but he looks skinny as a beanpole.
He's really not. In fact his build is pretty damn athletic by realistic standards. Araki's art got better in showing tone and relies less on the beefy muscle shit to make bodies look good.
Blue hair Koichi > Blonde Koichi >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Grey hair Koichi
I feel bad for the anime onlys
>DIO's bone needs the souls of 36 sinners
>tfw no alternate part 5 where Pucci and Giorno's half brothers try to wipe out the mafia to get souls
>No Priest vs Devil battle
>Pucci tries to capture SCR and put it in a stand disk
>Pucci tries to convince Giorno to join him
Because it'd have drowned by the time he got a camera or anything that could be used.
They were operating on seconds. I'm more weirded out by the fact he chose to cut him wrist instead of cutting the forearm of his other hand.
Since we're apparently on the topic of weird shit.
This entire part at the beginning of Highway Star was never explained, was it? Was the room made by Highway Star? Why did Rohan see a vision of Kosaku Kira cutting off a woman's hand?
Anyone else wish Polnareff could have kept SC after they got the arrow from it? The man deserved to retain some dignity, and imagine the poor soul who has a run in with Polnareff after that
>Oh, it's a turtle
>the turtle has a stand?
>The way he handles his encounters with everyone who isn't Yasuho is pretty confrontational and intimidating. It was like that for the surfer guy, Daiya, Jobin, and so on.
Now let's be fair here, Yashuo is about the only person so far that hasn't tried to fuck him up hard or kill him. He's surrounded by shady people, so it's not like most Jojo parts where there are a few trustworthy people. That being said, he's done a good job of reconciling with Daiya, Noriuske (at least for now) and Josefumi.
Also fuck surfer guy. What he did was fucked up.
So I know there are a million non-addressed things in Jojo but what happened with the tarot cards and Egyptian gods
The bands/songs used later I get are just a creative choice, but everyone seemed to be certain of what their stand was called. Did everyone do Avdol's "pick a card, any card"? What about the gods, did everyone choose to have their stands named after them? The fact that it is specifically said that "I presumed Dio would represent the card The World" confuses me.
The most logical explanation I can come up with is Enya used the arrow to make all the assassins have stands and then assign them names based on the ability, but even that seems vague.
I couldn't care less about Josuke's build, so long as the zips are over his nips. Only the most daring of fujoshits are willing to sexualize that part of his design, however.
What Stands would you use the most in real life? While The World would be cool for hijinks, something like Stone Free would be nice for everyday stuff such as picking up faraway objects and listening to conversation
I can't really see how stands like Set would be useful for pretty much anything
>Nukesaku's face was part of his body.
if you buy Over Heaven as canon, i think it says Nukesaku was an early attempt at fusing two separate living things
DIO practiced this often (fusing rats and birds, fusing halves of different people, etc) in his early quest for HEAVEN because he was obsessed with the concept of filling one body with multiple souls
>I can't really see how stands like Set would be useful for pretty much anything
Just for the sake of the argument, you could become king of the world with Sethan if you look at it from the bigger picture.
The power to reverse age is an ability humans have been dreaming about for thousands of years, you could market it and make people young for billions of dollars, start your own religion and make people believe you're the second coming of Jesus christ.
It isn't so much the Stand as it is the person that uses it, niche every day stuff is pretty boring.
both Enya and Avdol are fortune tellers. "pick a card" was just a way of divining the stand's true name, which is an innate quality of each stand
the Egyptian Gods predate their stand users (most notably Anubis, but the others as well), and this is why the users are referred to as possessions of the stand (ie. "Geb's N'Doul" instead of "N'Doul's Geb"). again, the name of the stand is an inherent quality that is merely revealed to the user
a further example of this would be that in part 5, Spice Girl tells her name to Trish, not the other way around
>DiU lemon party
Those are clearly strawberries, dummy.
Kira and Holly should engage in BDSM vine lewd, though.
>Holly will never tie a younger Kira up with her back vines after he tries to kill her and rape him with them in retaliation, the sight of her hand jerking his dick slowly and painfully delaying his orgasm fueling his fetish even more and he imagines her as the Mona Lisa just as one of her vines pushes against his prostate and makes him cum
Yoshikage McBabyhands Kira.
araki is good at many things. drawing hands is not one of them
He can't draw hands, arms, and feet even while looking at a reference, it's ridiculous.
>You gain a blue-grey mark on your cheek with the symbol "I" on it. Your stand, however, has the similar feature, only with the symbol "II".
>It's a medium-range stand that takes on any appearance, but usually looks similar to yourself.
>Twoism is a punch ghost, but is limited to your stamina.
for a variety of reasons, not the least of which is the Italian setting, Part 5 is a more difficult translation process than the other parts.
it's being retranslated, and right now, good translation goes up to about Grateful Dead (you'll be stuck with mediocre translation after that)
you can find the raws in color though, and i'd recommend downloading them and having them side-by-side, because some of the fights are really hard to follow in black and white
download is in the pastebin
You are a complete idiot
Now that I think about it, Josuke's similar to Batman.
>Lost a relative to a criminal
>Vow to protect their city/town no matter what
>don't kill people
>Have to deal with insane criminals
>Have a shorter sidekick
>Have a group of friends that can help them out if things get bad
>josuke didn't lose any relative to a criminal
Are you fucking serious? Did you skip the beginning of part 4 or something?
Josuke isn't a playboy millionaire in civilian mode, though. Maybe during Stone Ocean.
He lost his maternal grandfather to Angelo, dipshit.
>>Vow to protect their city/town no matter what
The big difference here is that in Batman's case this means actively searching down and fighting crime while Josuke on the other hand just fucks around and accidentally stumbles into a few enemy stand users.
