It was the only ending that made any sense thematically, and it isn't exactly happy if you don't forget the Vertex are just over the horizon and can invade again eventually. It's also not the end of the story, there is an epilogue chapter called Sonoko After which covers what they didn't had time to explain in the anime's last episode and also drops a few sequel hooks. There's also WaSuYu which is a prequel about when Tougou was a yuusha for the first time, and NoWaYu, which is about what happened 300 years ago when the Vertexes first attacked. The latter is still being issued monthly and might be related to these fan theories since one of the characters is just like Yuuna. I think the next chapter comes out this weekend, and there'll definitely be a thread so try to catch up until then if it interests you.

And let's not make the madoka comparison, nothing good can come out of it.

I forgot to add, I tried watching the dub a few times but it is really bad. The person trying to play Yuki especially has series issues conveying any type of series emotion.

I won't let the disabilities be cured in the final episode but it doesn't mean simply introducing "BAD END".

Firstly, I set the theme of this show as "mutual aid" which means that "you can overcome any difficult situations if it is provided that the help of others".

The main story frame is as follows:
Hero club has helped the local people and then after they got disabilities, the people who are helped/know hero club help/support them in return.
For example, the children of the Kindergarten come to the hospital and give them a senbazuru to cheer up the heros.

Karin is also utilized in this sense, she's save by the members of hero club mentally in ep3, so in return she helps/cheers the other members after they got disabilities.

By helping each other and being supported by the people around them, their daily lives as the members of Here club are preserved, in which they continue to help others around them even with their disabilities as the "Heros".

To achieve this plot, I may weaken the disability of Karin she got in ep 11, which is too much I think.

I went through the franchise starting a month ago and somewhere half through the first season I realised YuYuYu is pretty much Fafner with magical girls. The amount of parallels you can make is absurd. If you loved YYY as much as I did, you'll love it if you can get through the okay-ish first half of Dead Aggressor.

Its kinda "the banality of evil".
Their behavior is justified as "it's only the choice to save the world".

The way they did the ED in the last two episodes was really nice. I liked how much the show seemed to be thought out in general, it felt like the people who created it gave a shit about it, which isn't all that common in anime.

I enjoy a lot when anime adapt OP and ED to situation, it really helps with the atmosphere and it conveys the feelings much better.
