How many couples have there been in anime where their romance is subtle and comes from intense admiration and respect for eachother?
I think so. It's been a long time
And by the way call me a fag if you want but I always loved these kind of scenes.
Sharon started respecting Sakura once he realized that she was actually pretty resilient and powerful. Then he started actually having feelings for her later on.
Subtle as in no overt physical or verbal showing of their feelings until at least near the end.
OP also asked for romance that blossomed form admiration and high respect for eachother.
It wasn't Subtle but I remember this blond guy respected the fuck out of Makoto for saving his life. He was smitten so fucking hard.
>No one will even know what this is
Probably the only romance in a fighting manga where the guy and girl fall in love with eachother because they are equal in fighting spirit and skill.
>You mean longing stare from across the room for 10 seasons
GW was one season, and they did much more then just stare are eachother. They talked eachother up and stopped eachother's bullshit when one of them was ready to give up.
I wasn't specifically talking about GW, but still the romance in it was really unrealistic.
they come across with these tender moments but no actual development of the relationship.
Warriors of equal strength, brought together by destiny.
>their romance is subtle and comes from intense admiration and respect for eachother
Calling it now. Hanafags and Chiyofags can suck it.
