I just finished K-ON, Yui best girl.
Finished season two a few days ago. I've felt empty since. Not usually into SoL-stuff but this was amazing.
The post-concert scene in episode 20 made me tear up for the first time in years. Oh, and I agree. Yui is best girl.
The ultra slinky animation style conjures personality with a precise, always in motion physical choreography and together with the top notch writing, communicates more about identity and motivation through merely portraying the characters' random day to day cavortings than most heavily plotted serious dramas will ever hope to.
Yui's birthday is coming up. I wonder what she's grown up to become?
Dubs confirm it.
I get teary-eyed everytime I watch K-On!. They're just too fucking cute not too.
Saddest part was they were singing https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DAf7O-utVhw to Azusa as a Grad. Goodbye. That really made me cry bitch tears.
Episode 20 and 24 are the best ones
They make me cry every time
Good taste OP. Here's a compliment Yui pic for having great taste.
Jun is very good, she is good.
Jun loves doughnuts. However it eats only the unit. However, it is also good because it is lovely. When it worries, keseke feels good feeling. And thinks there might actually be a place of brilliant person who can’t stand being alone too.
The trio of azunyan is neatly highest and five story of god!
It works hard. And it is so, and a candid character also in the Jazz laboratory not to show off the effort. When Jun becomes serious, too I third it is actually good looking senior likes it.
At any rate, the future enjoys the second year pupil class as for what.
The animated cartoon is glad when there is second year pupils story at the Jun centre, it is still good.
That's it? Hell. I teared up when Mugi restarted the Fuwa Fuwa Time riff for the grand finale of season one.
Also when they reuse that scene for the S2 announcement in Let's Go!, I welled up a little out of pure joy.
I cried a lot more at the Valentine's Day episode than episode 20, though. The way you can feel the end looming over and Azusa not being able to express herself had me weeping last time I watched it.
This is now a Yui thread.
You have a good taste OP
Here, you got a image
Yui's Birthday is near, don't forget it
>Shit show with a dead fanbase that already forgot it exists
>implying it isn't my favorite anime
What language is that?
Whole second half of that episode is just perfect.
The Fude Pen part with Yui running closes the season beautifully.
Only /a/ is still stuck in 2009.
K-ON is dead.
I love the symmetry this show has. That running scene is a good example, and there are a bunch of other parallel shots too.
I still haven't watched the Keikaku special
I'm sorry but that's false, because Ritsu is the best girl.
I'm amazed at how much of the show is propelled by micro-drama. For the whole series the girls are off doing their cute things in their idealized world and one of them slips on stage or forgets something or has to run an errand and those tiny little microcosms provide enough oomph to push the plot of the series forward. I swear someone, sometime is going to write a doctoral dissertation on the storytelling of K-on and how tiny little things in the middle of nothing going on kept the fanbase invested.
Is one of the few shows that I re-watch. I used to hate cute girls doing cute things but this show was fun. I cant say that K-on! made me a moefag but don't whine like a bitch when people watch moe, sports or any other thing that I don't like.
I like cute stuff and moe, but K-On! set the bar way too high for a genre with such a notoriously low batting average. Pretty easy to see how one could enjoy it but not the rest.
>Ritsu starts singing
It's quite eligible so I guess it's C
I am literally going to marry Azusa.
This is one I spotted. From the end of season 1 they watch the sunrise, then from the end of season 2 the grads watch a sunset.
How strong is Mugi exactly?
Not for another 8-9 years Anon
And by 8-9 years I mean eternity because they have no official birth year and will not age past the canon
When you're a foreign rock star, you gotta act the part.
Everyone should read the manga then watch at least 1 other CGDCT show so you can properly appreciate Yamada's godliness. Although Tamako Market pales in comparison to K-ON! I'd suggest something totally unrelated such as Gochiusa.
NNB is the only one that comes close desu
Tamako is just as good as K-On, it's the only show that gave me the same warm feeling as K-on did
Just ditching the hook and throwing the whole bucket of worms in, eh?
It wasn't bad but K-ON! is far more integrated. There's too many characters in Tamako Market who only serve as the background. Even just matching S1 against it for fairness, each of the main keions has more personality than anyone in TM aside from Tamako herself. I didn't feel as attached to anyone else after the show ended even if I enjoyed the ride.
I hope you realize you're a fucking faggot.
It's not bad at all. Sure, when you compare it with the anime it comes off as a little lackluster, but it did it's job of satisfying my need for seeing a little bit more of the K-On!'s. It's also just one volume of mostly gag 4komas, there's not much space for it to be as terrible as you're saying it is.
>yanks calling ANYONE non-white
CANNOT make this up
I masturbate to the though of fucking Yui with her pantyhose on.
>pakis giving their kids the same name somehow trumps you lot LITERALLY becoming a shitskin third world country RIGHT NOW
muzzies aren't due to take us over any time soon
can't say the same for your darkies
lmaoing @ ur c*cktry
She would feel so silky smooth
I'm afraid I must disgree.
None of the new characters were interesting, and it gave them way too much focus, Akira is an awful character, and a really lackluster attempt at trying to recreate the Azusa/Yui relationship, and the only chapter that actually tackled the whole "they're at college" thing was the one focusing on Tsumugi.
Other than that, it was just high school, but not as interesting. They even brought their fucking school uniforms, for fuck's sake.
And the last chapter, instead of just being some jam session, it focused on Akira getting with her old boyfriend, like anyone gives a fuck.
>you will never spoon a keion
>you will never wrap your arms around their tummy as they push back against you
>you will never feel their warm body against yours
>you will never wake up with a keions head on your chest as she hugs you tightly
Why was i born if only to suffer? Must i endure such hardship on this journey? Tell me, Creator, is it necessary?
You seem to have made a bit of a mistake in your post. Luckily, the users of 4chan are always willing to help you clear this problem right up! You appear to have used a tripcode when posting, but your identity has nothing at all to do with the conversation! Whoops! You should always remember to stop using your tripcode when the thread it was used for is gone, unless another one is started! Posting with a tripcode when it isn't necessary is poor form. You should always try to post anonymously, unless your identity is absolutely vital to the post that you're making!
Now, there's no need to thank me - I'm just doing my bit to help you get used to the anonymous image-board culture!
I shouldn't have to use this pasta as much as i do, stop tripfagging, please.
It doesn't seem like much individually but small stuff adds up to create a sense of continuity whereas most SOL is totally episodic. Tiny things like this keychain shows up attached to Ritsu's book bag after this, and their souvenirs from Kyoto later, Azusa gets a shirt that says "oko" like Ui's pajamas, the shit that piles up in the closet and so on.
Thanks I almost forgot!
https://steamcommunity.com/groups/r_kon Don't forget to join the subreddit, while you're at it. We all stream the english dub of K-on via kissanime every sunday, because our mommies won't let us watch it on a weekday.
And still people say they don't like K-on.
Why can't we all get along ;_;
>Yui best girl.
DOES SHE HAVE A SISTER
