The more Lovecraft you've read, the more likely you are to appreciate it, but I suppose it's not really a requirement.

Not to much he's kinda boring and uses they same references and type of writting. Back in the 1930s it was gold. Today its fanfic tier honestly. This show requires a master in /JP/ memes. Or just read the wiki's. Kuko is best girl.
