For a kids franchise, Pokemon has some of the most lewd female characters in anime.
Speaking of /vp/, guess who won their poll
Nah, /vp/ is shit. You guys can suck eggs, this thread's here to stay.
oh sweet. i don't really have anyone to talk to about this show since /vp/ is terrible at discussing anime.
>implying this isn't lewd
Spotted the newfag
I am going to be unbelievably butthurt when the inevitable reset to new region happens at the finale. Why would they do such a cozy little ship between the two? It's going to hurt like hell when it's all over.
Anon, you need us here. You WANT us here. Pokemon anime is still anime. Without us, you have one less thread to fight against the /co/ invasion. Do you want this place to turn into /co/? Well, do you?
their relationship isn't that interesting though. they lack chemistry and their interactions seem distant, like polite strangers. once the novelty of a girl having a canon crush on ash wears off you see how threadbare this ship really is.
I never got the whole "chemistry" thing. You have Ash who basically does shounen and Serena who does shojou. You mix the two and you basically two that that work better as a pair rather than alone.
and of course, you get crucified if you even suggest this on /vp/, because they're all so desperate for ash to win the league AND the girl this time that they turn a blind eye to the show's problems.
both dawn and may, but not by much. the show has never really done chemistry that well, and if they want to push a ship they should make it seem less forced. a real relationship isn't just two people complimenting each other all the time.
the "mutual inspiration" angle is the only thing they're really working with, but it's too sparse to hold the entire relationship together. they need to actually talk and really get to know each other. there isn't even any banter.
they talk to each other, not with each other. just talking about the current events of the episode doesn't count towards their relationship. only real talking they've done was at the summer camp, and it was just ash giving generic motivation like he would to any stranger.
there is no real exchange of personalities, they don't come across as close friends, just as nice people talking to each other. and there is certainly no conflict to strengthen their relationship. a lot of this stems from ash being pretty bland this season.
Reminder that the anime was supposed to end with the first movie and Ash and Misty would've had a daughter.
Except it wasn't just Ash giving motivation, they had a talk back in the first gym, and they had that talk back in the monorail ride.
If you're talking about an exchange of personalities, they do that fine. The only thing that doesn't happen is that they start bickering with each other because of it. If anything that's the thing: Ash is known to bicker but he avoids it with Serena and Serena lets Ash do his thing but calls him out when he goes too far.
the inspirational thing again.
they just talked about ash not knowing what to give his pokemon.
there didn't really discuss anything, or share anything personal. besides the first and third gym, there was no sense that they got to know each other better, or appreciate each other more through these exchanges. there doesn't have to be bickering, but there is no meaningful difference of opinion on anything, no resolution of anything. these are two really different people whose relationship could be based on balancing each other out: ash is assertive but a hothead, serena is timid but cool and rational. but the show doesn't take advantage of that dynamic.
That's just it, they're able to inspire and motivate each other because they know one another.
The monorail Ash didn't know what to get his Pokemon and it's Serena that tells him that his Pokemon take after him and he should think what he would want. What the show does is meld the two together and you have the two really behave like one.
>What the show does is meld the two together and you have the two really behave like one.
i really don't see any examples of this. again, it's largely just polite compliments to each other and nothing that makes me think this relationship is interesting or special besides the fact that it involves ash ketchum.
May is the town slut. She will fuck everyone
They got less lewd with time. Kasumi was literally dressing like a turboslut.
the dub's out bruh
does this surprise you?
I think I will though holy shit.
While the poll is reasonably representative of /vp/'s general taste, it WAS a very tiny poll with just a few voters due to the overcomplicated voting system made tor educe samefagging.
exactly where series that are shells of their former selves belong
Also has the best doujin.
No, she is also inferior to her previous season version.
Yellow's gender had to be revealed when she first appeared because it wasn't clear if it was a boy or a girl. For that alone she is trash that shouldn't be mentioned.
So, /a/, are you ready to IKU Z?
Someone who's opinion isn't shit on /a/
All the brown ones came last.
>Ash is finally evolving a starter water pokemon
>has quite a good team overall
>his rivals are good enough of a challenge
>good chances of winning the league
Tobias comes back and fucks everything up again
Yeah what the shit, she's the best representation of that design with her best personality.
>slurp my cock
Imagine if that was literally what you wanted.
