Shouldn't servants who don't really have a physical connection to their master (like Avalon, Rider's piece of cloth etc.) mostly be summoned from the future? After all humanity has only existed for a short time compared to how many heroes there could be in the future.
Obviously the vast majority of servants are from the past for story-telling purposes alone but is there any real explanation other than that?

This is one of the biggest issues with "they can be summoned from any time".
Nasufags will defend this, though.

tl;dr: heroic spirits don't happen anymore because there are too many people, and the only situations that involve humanity mostly dying again involve earth dying and people becoming liners
how do you summon something you don't know exists?

Also it tries not to cause timey wimey bullshit because shitheaded magicians could use it to do True Magic
The only exception is GARcher because he's such an incredibly kickass counter-guardian that it considered that a higher priority

Also closed time loop and knowing as a result of that that it wasn't exploited
There you go OP, five response posts, critical mass for a containment thread. You're welcome.

Ryuunosuke summoned Caster without even knowing about the war, I think a spirit from the future would have more likely been summoned just by chance.

Name some servants from the future.
>>133871925
My point the Master didn't know what he was summoning. If he could summon Caster from the past without any knowledge why would the future be any different?
>>133872008
Because there aren't any future heroic spirits
read HA

Well I guess this thread is pointless then. I just hope I like HA more than most of FSN

>After all humanity has only existed for a short time compared to how many heroes there could be in the future.
Anon, we have to talk about the Sixth Extinction.

It's pretty much the opposite kind of themeing
unfortunately for you it's sprinkled between hours of fanservice
good luck! :^)
