I'm trying to design a coffee mug, but I'm not sure if the image might be repeating itself. What do you guys think? This is just a test mug, if you listed spice and wolf as something you like don't look as you might spoil yourself.

Artcow takes like a week for printing then another 2 for shipping.

One thing to keep in mind about mugs is picture placement. You usually want to be looking at the image from a normal point. So to the left or right on the handle depending on the person. That way you don't have to turn the mug so the handle faces away from you to see the image while using it. If it's a mug destined for pens I guess it's a non issue.

I would do two images on either side of the handle.

For some of us, getting a Christmas present from an anon is the best part about Christmas. It may be the only present we get.
I give presents to my friends but they don't have their act together so I will get nothing back. Last year I got 2 cards out of 5, but both were pretty good (including one that had fantastic art -pic related).

I try to include something with the cards I give out. Last year I gave out a few art books. I had a great idea this year but if I don't receive them by Dec 4 that is my last date to ensure anon's in North America receive their cards before Christmas and thus their cards will have no gift.

Last year, I got an Amazon gift about mid-January with a pretty disappointing note in it. I was happy that I wasn't grinched, but at the same time, somewhat let down that their idea of a gift was shipping me some cheap anime-related item from Amazon almost a month after the fact. I was in the 25-50 tier. But I just tell myself that something came up which kept them from doing something nicer.

I still keep that Asuka hat displayed next to my figs though.

I got a few really nice cards, and was fortunate enough to have the pleasure of knowing my anon loved the gifts I sent them. So, essentially, it's not about the whole receiving thing, but knowing that you made some other anon's day [or season] that much better. And that's what is most important, I'd say. I feel you. I'm in a bit of a hard situation right now (not financially though) so I feel like spreading cheer will help while I'm feeling down.

Last year I got grinched after giving away some of my prized posessions, including a $200 mechanical keyboard and some really rare vinyl records.
