The D&D inspiration of Overlord has definitely been a major appeal for me since the main character reminds me so much of Larloch, whose story in D&D is just hugely fascinating. All the adorable supporting characters have been nothing but a treat as well, but all in all, I believe all those unique traits of Overlord have been what really elicited my interest in this instance.

Anyway, what I'm trying to say is that it's been very difficult for me to find that combination of things unique in anime that would appeal to me personally, which is why a recommendation like yours is very appreciated. Sincere thanks yet again.
