Hi, I think Yui's cute. Please don't hurt me.
Don't hurt me.
Now where did you get that idea?
Daily 1-hour drawing incoming.
Today is a day for a pair theme with the following pairs being the focus: Eas & Twilight, Kise Yayoi & Yotsuba Alice, Kasugano Urara & Yumehara Nozomi, Oresky & Gohan Musume, Haruno Haruka & Kaido Minami.
I really wish bad end happy was a thing from like, mid-season.
I also wish the battle didn't go along the lines of "I want my own happiness" and then "Me too, I guess *beamspam*".
>yuri ending never
>I'm gonna be a princess! After all... they're so cute!!
>That's right... this was how my dream began...
>I'm gonna study a lot!! After all... I wanna make a baby with Mana!!
>Isn't that kind of heavy, Senpai?!
>I hope the girl I love won't be chained down by a hetero... At least let me watch over her for the rest of my life!!
>And also I'll wear the same overalls as her forever
>Like I said, that's way too heavy!
Weird characterization, but not unexpected from this artist.
Aside from being Yellows what do Yayoi and Alice have to do with each other?
>And also I'll wear the same overalls as her forever
But who is overalls?
You're just looking in the wrong place.
Alice is a pure woman, anon.
>yuri ending never
Don't you place that evil on the GoPris. A Yuri end is a bad end involving a lot of heartbreak.
Can you imagine the shitstorm if she actually left?
I'm not sure there would be any good story to be had in that, though.
I'm actually waiting for the series where the Precure don't all live near each other and instead use things like the bookcase and the mirrors to see one another.
I mean, there's no reason to not use something like that, right?
Yuri just needs to show up.
As a bitter christmas cake.
Because she never had a heart.
Having team members live away from each other would make it harder to shoehorn all of them in every episode, kinda like how Kirara was in the beginning. I forget how she made time to spend with them on a daily basis (damn good time management skills?).
All she ever wanted was to be a good daughter.
Who are the most fertile Cures and why are they the Blues?
Not as good as Tsubomi.
Scanning is finished
I still need to crop a bunch of pages and stuff
Should be able to upload it to MEGA by the end of the night
You know what will keep this thread alive? An amazing tune played by this lovely cat! Now everybody get up and dance to the
There's a bit of poopooing but I think there's potential in this idea. If you have most episodes be at school or that kind of SoL'y, you could definitely swing this. It's a mechanism that you can also break in the finale to really up the stakes. You'd want them to see each other in person most times, though.
It'd be a little different (and better) if she actually did it a lot in the series.
Remember how we went on and on about how Precure needs to have a fighting game of sorts?
I'd still like to see that, despite the fact it's never going to happen.
Want your big sis to teach you ho to do a puke job?
I've heard of a gumjob, but I don't want to imagine what a pukejob would entail.
I dunno, I guess like this?
But with more penis involved?
>Look up game on Youtube
>Looks like a cool Precure doujin fighting game
>Get to about 11:30 and girl starts attacking with just her ass and starts farting out hearts everywhere
>Another girl traps another character in her giant ass and starts squeezing her to death with her ass cheeks
I didn't ask for this in my cute Precure fighting game.
well as I screwed up and failed to transfer 16 episodes of GoGo to my external drive looks like I'll be rewatching Heartcatch next. Trying to download the SD episodes from Doremi torrents but no seeds :(
So much shit left to scan
I have played some fighting games, but don't recall ever seeing any with characters trapped in giant asses (I mean literal giant asses). If this is a new staple of fighting games, then I guess I'm just behind the times.
Guys, I'm still downloading the Balala The Fairies (巴啦啦小魔仙之彩虹心石/Bālālā Xiǎo Mó Ziān Zhī Cǎihóng Xīn Shí) animated episodes along with extracting their English subtitle transcripts from the official YouTube channel (yeah, at least the first animated series in full has official soft English subs on the channel, sadly none for the rest besides the animated "Balala The Fairies 2" follow-up season).
It's taking such a long time to rip the episodes. As of this writing I'm still at episode 16, and that's after grueling HOURS of downloading and converting. I expect to get all this done near sunrise.
Actually, ripping the subtitle tracks is fairly easy and quick enough (only takes like a few seconds), but the video files themselves are a different story.
I'll do a service for you by providing them in one huge Mega directory for posterity.
Posterity reasons, I guess. In case people want it offline? In case it somehow disappears off the face of YouTube and/or any Chinese sites, especially the English subs?
Kind of agree with you about the quality, but at the same time I believe in preserving media.
By buying merchandise.
I will say this as long as it keeps being brought up that it is impossible for Balala to take over Precure. Balala is a leech that just steals animation and content from Precure. If Precure dies Balala will die too. Also the Precure could beat the shit out of the Balalas.
Responding to myself, but I should have explained further. I'll admit, this is part of a larger initiative to have a large downloadable directory to every Balala season and episode, even the live action versions and the movies. The first animated season along with its official soft English subs is only the beginning.
It might take a while to gather everything, but it will all be worth it for people curious. I might even dabble in a little unofficial subbing to the untranslated seasons myself and add that too (I tried subbing an unrelated Chinese cartoon, even so far as having a PRC resident as my aid when I need to understand something confusing grammar-wise, which was not too often)
China can animate if they feel like it, they're just lazy fucks.
If precure dies, it'll have no effect of balala.
Source of this .webm?
I feel like this is familiar to me, and maybe there's a chance that this is part of the "other unrelated Chinese cartoon" I attempted to sub but didn't get around to this part (or maybe it isn't).
Or maybe it's some fever dream of mine, I don't know.
I have not watched every anime in existence so of course I can't prove every instance of such a case. But their track record is horrible on this kind of stuff. They are bootleg central for a reason. It only took me a single episode of Balala to notice all the crap they stole from various anime.
With a male precure doing Rider stuff in the show.
I do admit that China's track record of unoriginality is very staggering and frightening. There's just no denying that. Even my Chinese chat acquaintance will have to agree with that, being a witness in the center of it all.
However, not all of it is a copy of something else. Maybe influenced (mainly by Japanese things in recent years), but sometimes they try to do their own things too without having to directly plagiarize and/or trace from other animes. Some of it is even beautiful to look at. And I'm not talking about the old stuff based on ancient Chinese tales, either, I'm thinking about the recent stuff too. But yeah, Sturgeon's Law is heavily applied to Chinese animation, especially in the plagiarism department, I'll admit.
OK, that definitely wasn't the animated show I was subbing. But the one I was watching kind of was similar, but not exactly the same in plot and tone. Still, I knew Zinba was familiar to me, I think I might have saw it on some Japanese blog about Chinese animation, or during my search for animation or Chinese subs of Japanese anime on Youku/Tudou/Letv/etc
Well, what do we do? It doesn't exactly fit /a/, yet doesn't fit the Western animation-oriented /co/ either. And there isn't much interest in Chinese animation to warrant its own board.
>I do admit that China's track record of unoriginality is very staggering and frightening. There's just no denying that. Even my Chinese chat acquaintance will have to agree with that, being a witness in the center of it all.

It's pretty obvious.
...sooooo, Marchen Land and its residents, anybody...?
I want to stick my dick in fairy Miyuki's tiny pink ass hole and use her body as an onahole.
Why does Close get all the princess bitch anyway? Minus the random mob and futa fest he is the only one get featured in most doujin. I understand no one could imagine Shut on the top but Kirara has more enmity with Lock, at least in the beginning and we never see him got action even in his adult form. Or all the artists just watch the first episode so they do not even know there are other generals?
Watching Smile, suddenly the promo pops up.
Should I be hyped?
It's less painful and awful if you marathon it.
Haruka's dream: 2 episodes
Yui's dream: 1 episode
Kirara's dream: 2 episodes (starting next week)
Minami's dream: 2 episodes (after Kirara's)
I rest my case.
>Yui's dream: 1 episode
She only needs one because she is a very modest and too much emphasis would make her outshine the rest of the cast more than she already does (in my heart).
Children's anime has the best suffering.
What should I watch next? The only other precure I've seen is futari wa.
If it's suffering you want, then Ashita no Nadja.
Oh god no
I'll never forgive Rosemary
So, which cure do you like and why?
As for me, it is pic related. I love the way she talks. It feels calming.
Even when she fights with Hibiki.
I especially love it when she sings.
>tfw that empty spot at Yuri's table will be empty forever.
I genuinely thought Dark Precure would eventually sit there.
I started watching suite because her design. I still like her, but the one I fall in love with after finished the series is pic relate.
Hibiki is incredibly sexual, but her and Kanade come as a pair.
No, Dark died in her dad's arm, she seem stupefied but didn't exactly seem sad or crying. Dune then initiated the fight for some minute and do explosion thing, her dad take the blast for her and Tsubomi and then died, she then break down until Tsubomi help her pull her self together. It is understandable though. I probably wouldn't care when my evil murderous clone die, at least not as much as my dad and my long-time work partner.
>she seem stupefied but didn't exactly seem sad or crying.
Soul-less husks don't have emotions. Sabaku probably just programmed her to observe death in the way
that he imagines Yuri will someday. She was mostly powered by just general "darkness" like anger and sadness and shit probably. What an awful existence. Good thing it ended for her.
If you're looking for suffering, watch Pretty Rhythm.
I only know Mahou Tsukai Sally and Himitsu no Akko-Chan and they're both rather different from Ashita.
So I don't know what kind of 60s anime you've been watching, or is that just a meaningless number?
And I said 60s anime and Candy Candy is a 70s anime.
Why did you say it feels like a 60s shoujo, do you even know any 60s shoujo?
I give 70s to you, but saying it feels like a 60s shoujo series is probably bullshit unless you can tell me which 60s shoujo it feels like.
>one punch man thread uses the same layout as ours (__ thread
why is this allowed
Don't worry Honoka, you'll make up with Nagisa
It's as they always say, anon. There's more than one way to skin a cat.
>listening to precure songs
>have autoplay on
>suddenly arrive to this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9dlBTGSHpvI
Yo-Kai Watch is pretty faithful to the original from what I hear. The only differences are a bit of light censoring and name changes to make the jokes/characters easier to understand.
I like all Cures except Mana. Or do you mean romantically?
That's such an odd picture, it looks like she's guest starring in Doki there or something.
If civ form could trump everything, it would have to be Hibiki. But it can't.
As complete characters, I love Ellen but I feel like there was so much missing from her relationship with Hummy after she turned. So she's mostly potential.
So that leaves Nozomi. Because she's adorable, she's amazing in both forms, and angry Dream is probably the single best thing in the universe.
tfw you finish a series and you feel empty inside.
It doesn't even matter how much I finish in a day week or month, I always feel it
Hibiki is great, but nobody can trump Nozomi.
We all know who would win in a battle between Saitama and Mana.
In the end Saitama reveals he's actually Mana and Mana reveals she's actually Saitama after they remove their head (actually masks), the ending song comes on and both give a wink to the camera.
>Smile Pretty Cure!
>The chief designer for this season was the one who did the design for Yes! Pretty Cure 5, so the concept of "Super Sentai" is revisited in this season, with a total of 5 Cures.
Well shit, that makes sense then. Is it still ripping off if you're stealing ideas from yourself?
Towa a best
Well, Twilight was sex and Scarlet kicks ass. But Towa's mostly just cute.
I'm fairly sure it's meant to be a homage since romantic shoujo adventures about a sweet blue-eyes blondes frolicking about Europe completely died off after the 80s. (WMT aside.)
There was a magazine article about Nadja that mentioned Hana no Ko Lunlun, a 70s Toei majokko anime.
Nanoha has some moderately useful males.
I always did find it weird that when Ellen became Ellen, Hummy didn't go to live with her. Though I guess you could say it's because it's already been established that Hummy is Hibiki's cat and having her go live with Ellen of a sudden would be even weirder.
And yah, it would have been nice to see more Ellen and Hummy interaction after Cure Beat came along. We got to see a lot of irritable Siren and trusting Hummy. But we only got a few flashbacks that showed Siren and Hummy as super BFFs. It would have been nice to see a lot more of that relationship.
The fanart kind of makes up for it though.
Hibiki is simply nicer and incorruptible
this would have been fine too ofcourse
I was amazed Ellen didn't go live with Hibiki since it was established that Hibiki was lonely in her big house with her mother not around.
Then again, Ellen lived with Ako and they never mentioned it once. Not a single time. They lived literally in the same building and we never even saw them speak to one another directly.
>Then again, Ellen lived with Ako and they never mentioned it once. Not a single time. They lived literally in the same building and we never even saw them speak to one another directly.
Is that how it was? It always seemed to me that Ellen was living in a spare bedroom at the cathedral and that the house Otokichi and Ako lived was in a different place.
That would've been fun. Though I have a feeling we'd miss out on quite a few Ellen shenanigans fueled by Otokichi's lack of proper explanations.
Agreed. It is a little funny that Hummy stayed with Hibiki, but that's why I liked the house-switch episode so much, it almost seemed like Hummy was there on purpose because she intuitively knew how Hibiki felt and how often she was left there on her own. I'm usualy not a fan of taking subtle touches like this and talking them out out loud, but I think there would've been potential for a really cute episode where Ellen wanted Hummy to live with her, but Hummy could find some way to express by the end that Hibiki needed her more.
I probably would've cried.
Because there isn't a single moment in the anime where Honoka was the more shy of the two.
Yeah, I don't know if that was your post, but I read that right after I posted and went, "oh... right... yeah, that'd be way better." Maybe you could combine the two ideas, that Ellen is sad (and maybe even a little jealous) that Hummy chooses to live with Hibiki and her finding the way to express it then be "rejected" by Hummy would be the character pseudo-conflict for the episode, and the end of the episode is a scene with Ellen wordlessly moving in.
Will we ever have a Precure that practices an open-hand martial arts instead of punch punch punch punch punch punch throw kick punch punch?
JUST MAKE BIG BOSS A PRECURE, PROBLEM SOLVED
Is Erasubs gonna ever continue subbing Nadja? If Doremi can get a better release, so can this.
>So does having a wiki page make something more useful?
It has it's uses, is the point. It's not 'useless' or 'less powerful'. It's just different, for different applications.
If you really care about the distinctions: http://www.shenwu.com/bagua.htm Here's a whole page dedicated to an open-hand martial arts style which goes into the pros and cons of fighting in extremely close quarters. Less than several inches away from the opponent.
Those "martial art" schools most of the time don't even do hard sparring, it's all bullshit if you ask me.
Give me real world or a pro fight sport evidence that open hand striking is not useless.
Some site writing up a bunch of shit is shit if it has zero real life evidence of its worth.
>Those "martial art" schools most of the time don't even do hard sparring, it's all bullshit if you ask me.
You're free to have that opinion, but actual martial arts masters disagree heavily with you.
If you try to spar with some of these schools of martial arts, you'll probably break someone's ribs. Which is why a lot of it isn't allowed in sports.
You probably don't know this, but most of the grappling/throwing martial arts can't be practiced in a 'hard spar' environment.
The reason is entirely related to the fact that you'll seriously dislocate or break someone's limbs if you do it incorrectly. This isn't hard to grasp.
Do you think there will be a group to sub the DVD box, if raws become available?
I wish they bothered to upscale their videos to BD if they're going to bother calling the DVD box "remastered".
I only ever post caps from this episode since it's the only one I keep rewatching. Such a Hosoda gem.
Someone once tried to explain to me that judo can be rough but is generally pretty safe the way you learn it because the falls are meant to be broken, and that if you intentionally did some of the throws incorrectly (in just the right way), you'd probably end up seriously hurting your opponent.
I've always imagined that it was just a good story but not necessarily that factual.
An HD upscale of an SD digital show almost never ends up looking good. Unless they somehow had all the master files for each frame and background to recompile into a show (pic related), it wouldn't work.
The Bad End Precures look pretty cool.
Too bad they only show up for one episode.
1-hour drawing incoming.
Today's theme is about this lovely lovely cat. Yes, today's theme is Kurokawa Ellen aka Siren aka Cure Beat. Did I mention she's also called a lovely cat?
West Side Mankai*
Me too. Haruharu is the cutest pink.
I hope mahopink is cute too.
>I sure hope it won't be bland and stupid, what with all these expectations I'm building up.
Half the fun in waiting for a new season is having extremely high expectations building over the weeks/months that get shot down literally one minute into the show proper.
I kinda hope Shut ends up as like, Miss Shamour's doting assistant or something.
They make a nice pair.
Today is truly a lovely day! Though it doesn't look like this lovely cat is feeling too motivated. She's even letting Hummy mess around without too much of a fuss.
Oh man. It's even better than I thought. nanamelon drew more Ellen.
OK, I know that Balala vs. Precure discussions can get pretty heated, but something struck me that may or may not be related to both.
Is any Precure by any chance outsourced to any Chinese/Taiwanese/HK companies? I am aware of Toei's Filipino branch that they outsource to, but I'm interested in the Greater Chinese side of things. China and Taiwan seems to be one of Japan's favorite targets to outsource anime from.
Protip: any company name in the end credits with a long string of kanji/hanzi and/or "...-有限公司" (basically the Chinese equal to ", LLC" or "Co., Ltd") attached at the end is a dead giveaway that the company is Chinese and not Japanese. Though any "有限会社" and "株式会社" are in fact Japanese no matter how much kanji you cram into its official company name. To give an example, I spotted a "年代動画制作有限公司" (Niandai Animation Productions LLC??) listing on a non-Precure Japanese anime.
tl;dr: what I want to know is, if there is so much Precure in Balala, how much of Balala is in Precure?
>OK, I know that Balala vs. Precure discussions can get pretty heated, but something struck me that may or may not be related to both.
All of the opposition in this thread and 90% of it in other threads have just been me vs. everyone else here. Clearly it's just me and maybe one other guy here that doesn't like it. I'm outnumbered and it's not worth it to me. I'd rather spend my time here shitposting about how I want Mana to fuck me in the ass than argue about this. You can keep talking about it if you want, but I'm done. You've won. Have fun with your shitty bootleg chink cartoon.
Don't worry m8 you aren't only one. I for example simply don't bother to read these shill posts. If they are so good they wouldn't have to do something pathetic like trying to hijack other anime's thread and bashing it right? Have some delicious Hibiki to calm down.
I think the bashing is a little uncalled for but I'm pretty sure they invaded our thread because it is not actually anime so they're using /pc/ and /ai/ as a safe zone for discussion.
I don't like anything off topic but i won't complain about it. The thread say precure so you should go making your own thread if you want to discuss other series. The Balala post however not only hijack other series's thread but bashing them to make their little group look good. It is equal to some hobo taking refugee in other people's house and have a gall to badmouth the owner.
I'm not sure I could deal with it becoming a mahou shoujo general. Then we'd have to put up with the Nanoha, YYY and PMMM twits (not to mention the trips) passing through all the time. Once every loooooong while is already too often.
