Can we all agree that Shaft is the best animation studio of this century?
No but I can agree that it's my favorite and that monkey is a best
>Can we all agree that Shaft is the best animation studio of this century?
At least, it's one of the few studios that does more than just adapt but also add a lot of stylistic elements. Between KyoAni that converts everything to the 2012 KY style, Madhouse that does nothing more than a simple copy/paste of the original material with pretty animation, BONES who fucks almost everything up with QUALITY, Whitefox who doesn't improve at all, SHAFT is a sure value.
If only they came back to the artistic direction of Bake, that would be nice.
>At least, it's one of the few studios that does more than just adapt but also add a lot of stylistic elements.
It's not really about the studio, but the staff working on the show.

I see you don't know a single thing about anime production
>static images with cheap CG backgrounds and bloom
not like there's anything SHAFT has actually done well
everyone praises them even though they aren't creative at all
>Using adaptions as a benchmark for a studios quality
The funny thing is Tamako Love Story is better than Rebellion
*wide angle shot of landscape*
*close up of smile*
Well of course Shaft is best
*close up of some random body part*
Did you really think anything could compete
*more shots of everyone standing still*
*all sound muted for a few seconds*
*zoom in on eyes*
*back to landscape*
*zoom into earlobe*
*back to standing still*
What's up with SHAFT's backgrounds? I'm not sure how to describe it. Kinda flat and postmodern like it's always trying to be symbolic. Looks pretty as wallpaper though.
then Mad House or Production IG easliy
IGPX Immortal Grand Prix
Two original series without going over the godlike movie and series adaptions heads and tales above anything Shat has made EVER
Just going to say I'd put Shaft at the bottom of the list. Not the very bottom (unless we were talking about the bigger studios then yes probably the bottom). Their animation is so boring and lazy to be blunt.
I know, you faggot, but that doesn't make it anime. Frosty the Snowman isn't anime either. And before you say "it still counts," no, it doesn't, we're talking about their anime, not outsourced work they did for a Western movie.
>Paranoia Agent really isn't that good.
>it stopped holding my attention pretty quickly and felt a lot less inventive than it had at the beginning.
When on what episode?
mfw that faggot got btfo
