Because the first punch landed squarely on SK's jaw, while SK blocked the Angel Rush from start to finish, defending his vulnerable areas and allowing only glancing blows through.

You can see how he had an arm up to defend from the very first punch in the Angel Rush, and then PPP was throwing such wild aimless punches from then on that SK probably got his other arm up to defend without any trouble.

Weapon users in OPM are extremely nerfed when unarmed. Sea King basically can't even touch Sonic because he is just too fast. But unarmed Sonic just can't hurt him. So it is a stalemate.

King was just thrown into S Class. He didn't actually take the test. It was based on his reputation, after all. Genos was also probably S Class because of his reputation, not just his score.

It's hard to see how much influence the test actually has when it comes to evaluating people who are genuinely superhuman, to be honest. Saitama broke all of the records, but plenty of the S Class heroes could have produced results that they wouldn't have been able to measure appropriately anyway with the equipment they had there; if a C Class hero could pass just by earning 20 points out of 50 on the physical test because it was so easy to ace the written exam, it's not hard to imagine that some A class heroes could have gotten a perfect score on both too.

The main excuse for not looking into it was that Saitama didn't have any previous accomplishments that the association knew about, while they attributed the House of Evolution's destruction to Genos.

I was the ne who suggested that.

And technically Genos didn't START as a glass cannon. However he simply neglected his defence, or because there is only so much Dr Stench could do while keeping Genos human-sized. In general Genos is strong enough to hurt Demons and most Dragons, but he just couldn't tank any direct hits from Demon onwards.

Genos either need to get forcefields, new armour, or get serious speed upgrades to the point when he can dodge like Sonic.

Allow me to bring up a tangential point.

Let's take Hammerhead, for example. Hammerhead was a B class criminal and, with the suit, he got super strength. However, Sonic judged that Pri-Pri was definitely stronger than Hammerhead.

Considering how incredible some of the A class heroes' feats can be (Iaian and his fellow disciples being set aside for now, as the story has stated their strength to be S class), I don't think it's wrong to say A class heroes are already pretty superhuman in their own right. It's just that S class heroes are beyond superhuman. They're absolute monsters.
