>I don't really like Satsuki at all.
H-how is this possible?
I prefer Ryuuko's clothing style and body, though Satsuki has better personality.
If I could pick anybody from KlK, it'd be Nonon.
>wanting some smelly angry punk over a refined, iron-willed empress
Truly the definition of plebian.
here sats I found your match
Triple paizuri from Ryuuko, Satsuki, and Mako.
She kinda did in that part of her arc was her learning to cooperate with others and have faith in the common people rather than lord over them like a fascist dictator to get things done.
I'd go with best girl if I could but in this case, left, while right watches.
It's the only right answer.
My brother of African American origin
In this case I would go for right though, while left watches
I'd go for a Nonon and Ryuuko three way.
In this one instance, I'd want Satsuki to sit on my face while Ryuuko rubs my cock in between her cleavage. If not that, then Ryuuko all the way.
Both, for some ass-to-ass frottage.
An academic paper about the revolutionary potential of Kiru ra Kiru's fanservice through "an upheaval of traditional discourses pertaining to gender representation and perversion in otaku media through its rhizomatic web of desiring-images that explores queer performativity, politicized desire-production and a collectivist strategy of binding together coalitions of dynamically intense desires into a new queer-otaku assemblage."
But he didn't say EXCLUSIVE or!
Learn your logical predicates!
The only positive thing I can say about it is that it was a really comfy show, something about that shit art style just had a real homey feel to it.
Other than that it was otherwise shit
OR as a logical connective is inclusive, that means "one", "the other", and "both" are all valid answers. Exclusive or, or XOR for short, allows only "one" and "the other". It's logic 101.
I don't know where to bitch about it so I'm doing it here, so I apologize in advance for blogposting, I'm just fucking mad. I got my best friend a Satsuki Oppai mousepad for his birthday in September. I went to visit him today and he fucking ripped her god damn tits off. Sorry again for blogposting, I'm just really upset right now.
So it's like the quantum mechanics of anime?
Kill la Kill, is not a good anime, and certainly not what an idle man such as myself wanted. First among its slew of negatives is the pacing; it’s all over the place. Sometimes the show skips across great lengths of time with next to no explanation, while other times entire episodes are spent on a single fight, Dragonball Z-style. It seems some parts of the series were written as though it were made to be thirteen episodes long, and others were written as if it were part of a fifty episode epic. It’s off-putting and outright odd. The pacing is remarkable not for the directorial expertise exhibited by it, but for the lack thereof.
The pacing is, however, the least of one’s worries while watching the mess that is Kill la Kill. Were it not for the excellent soundtrack, I’d venture to say that the redeeming qualities of the show are few and far between. Shoddy is the best word to describe Kill la Kill‘s animation. Shoddy and haphazard. Shadows are often left an unnatural pitch black, and the backgrounds are largely poorly detailed and unappealing with their slap-dash construction and dreary colors. The academy where a good part of the show takes place consists almost entirely of various shades brown, grey, and dull blue. That’s not to say a show needs to be entirely vibrant and colorful, nor am I implying that the character designs of Kill la Kill don’t make up for the boring environments, but some more interesting venues would not go unappreciated. The use of stock footage doesn’t much help matters; the same transformation sequence can be found in almost every episode, and after a while it becomes rather grating.
What’s more, the amount of deus ex machina used in the show is simply astonishing. Very little gets done without the main protagonist gaining some unexpected, unexplained new ability that magically changes the tide of battle. It inspires precious little admiration for the writers.
>we need more niisan on niisan action in this thread.
If you recognize this line, you live in my general area:
NISSAN, NISSAN, 23 NISSAN! NISSAN, NISSAN, 23 NISSAN!
It's from a commercial, and that line is sung repeatedly in an annoying voice by some kind of gopher.
Local car dealership commercials are *weird*.
There are a lot of others on YouTube that are even weirder.
Just this one
I really do want Ryuko as my imouto.
I want to do lewd things to Nui!
such as hold her hand and hug her when she cries
fuck off Nuifag. I though we rounded the lot of you up
>[x]Marry Ryuko, acquire sister in-law Satsuki to pal around with on occaision
Is the correct option.
I'd post the vid but they only uploaded to tumblr!
Hey, check out my sweet filename
satsuki and i will have a long lasting relationship and will grow old together. we will have two children, ryuko and mako will be their god parents, since ryuko and mako are in lesbians together.
they will be privately educated and grow to be prim and proper adults. they will have prim and proper eyebrows. satsuki and i will be very proud of them.
i will die before satsuki because i do not want to see her die.
>since ryuko and mako are in lesbians together
You're missing a lot of context there. Mako is very immature, and is using the word "date" to refer to a friendly outing, akin to a "girls' night out".
B I N G O
Why not the sad things? They're cute in their own way.
>is using the word "date" to refer to a friendly outing, akin to a "girls' night out".
>That much denial.
and she's kissing her because?
I have heard of young girls use the term in that way. I mean, to be honest, I don't think Mako is even mature enough to *have* a sex drive
Because she's a nutcase? She's clearly not socially-emotionally normal. I've dealt with special needs kids in the past, and they often do things because they see other people doing it, but without any of the intent or meaning we normally ascribe to it.
>I've dealt with special needs kids in the past
I have too. Just recently in fact.
It was a summer job working for a day camp. What fun it was, to have to restrain an overweight flailing kid barely two years younger than you!
I was merely stating a fact.
>There are people right now
>That are so retarded
>That didn't catch that KLK is a self-parody of the shounen genre
>Can't properly explain why it was a poorly-executed self-parody
>Even though his entire post contradicts his point
I mean, having mental retardation isn't exactly a problem, anon. Plenty of jobs take your type.
>Can't properly explain why it was a poorly-executed self-parody
Pot, kettle. Sorry you're too stupid to even explain the basis of your criticism, not that you even understand what it means yourself.
I know exactly what self-parody is, I'm saying it's poorly executed, and I'm afraid you're simply too stupid to properly argue that point, not that it can be argued anyway.
Wouldn't be the first time they've done something like that.
Jesus H Christmas. You clearly missed the fucking point of the series if you can't even go back and re-read your own fucking post. Here's a definition for your stupid ass before I spoonfeed you like a baby or a literal retard who can't function on his own.
>The act or instance of mimicking oneself in a humorous or satirical way
Aka taking stupid tropes and playing them straight and having characters either indirectly refer to the stupidity of said tropes, or having the series be so self-aware that only a fucking retard (see: you) would need the characters to react to it.
> First among its slew of negatives is the pacing; it’s all over the place
Which a majority of shounen suffer from. The joke is how the pacing is stupid
> It’s off-putting and outright odd
Like most fucking shounen?
>The pacing is remarkable not for the directorial expertise exhibited by it, but for the lack thereof
ALMOST LIKE THAT WAS INTENTIONAL
> Shoddy is the best word to describe Kill la Kill‘s animation. Shoddy and haphazard. Shadows are often left an unnatural pitch black, and the backgrounds are largely poorly detailed and unappealing with their slap-dash construction and dreary colors.
OH, LOOK. ANOTHER COMMON FUCKING ELEMENT OF MODERN SHOUNEN
> boring environments, but some more interesting venues would not go unappreciated
The whole fucking point is that the environments are boring, uninspired, and outright unappealing.
>What’s more, the amount of deus ex machina used in the show is simply astonishing.
And then you went full fucking retard. Even the characters comment on it as being completely convenient or some utter bullshit that Ryuko was ass-pulling. A common theme in shounen is to have a deus ex machina that the hero(es) wield to change the tide of battle. KLK took that and played it straight.
You can fuck off, now
OPM is pretty over-hyped, too. I've heard it's not that good and only gets recognition for trying to parody the shounen genre and only working because the jokes are played straight.
Technically speaking, the animation is as good as you can expect from any shounen. Madhouse has a very talented and expensive team working on this one.
It's a well known phenomenon that /a/ hates anything that becomes popular, especially when a lot of that popularity comes from tumblr, like with KLK or OPM.
Things should become more reasonable after the series ends.
well, I don't especially like OPM, but parody SHOULD be played straight
Did you see Airplane? Wacky as hell film but no one actually ever stops to look at the camera or acknowledge how wacky it all is. KLK played things pretty straight too by and large
Which is how parody works. Airplane was some grand shit because of how stupid things were and how the characters acted like it was natural as fuck. KLK played it straight and only had the characters point out once or twice how stupid something is and even then it was played off as "it's just a thing that happens". I haven't seen OPM, but I have to assume it does the same and even tries to get away with playing up the stupid.
Thanks for showing your autism, that alone invalidates everything you said.
For what it's worth, you still didn't answer my question. I never denied it was a parody, I said it was poorly executed, but sadly, you're so stupid that you probably don't even understand the concept of execution.
It's a self parody, cool. Why do you think it's good?
I don't understand this logic, you see the "date". It's not what Mako imagines, it's what she said, it's Ryuko, her sister, and Mako going shopping. It even has the devas joining in and Gama going to give flowers to Mako, and the last scene is Ryuko running off to daydream about Senketsu.
Mako says in the OVA, the Ryuko she imagines is just that, her imagination.
